Breakfast Nannies Sava and Una were wonderful! Everyone was super friendly and kind. Great food, hospitality. Very child friendly resort. Would definitely stay again if they keep this up ! Unused credit can be used to purchase items from Spa. Good choice of restaurants. Seperate section for adults only. Good kids club.

Suggest a baby changing table near the breakfast room toilets otherwise you have to walk all the way back to your room to change nappies. Warning sign at the beach to warn about sea lice in the water can bite could be useful to add so that guests and their kids don't swim in the sea. Family rooms are right near the lawn where wedding functions are hosted which means disruption of sleep for families with young children. Could the weddings be moved to the adult side of the resort ?

Our room was very comfortable and reasonably spacious. The facilities were excellent, the pool, restaurants, grounds and all very accessible to the beach.

It would have been nice to have been given information about what was available to do during the day when we booked in.

Staff were excellent. Took the time to remember our 1.5 year olds name and gave a big warm greeting each time they saw him. A couple of times staff even carried him around while we ate. Kids club was the best we’ve seen - we couldn’t send our son bc of his age but were able to take him in and supervise him. He had such a great time that he cried whenever we left. Location and facilities were strong. Gym was great and I overheard it is being expanded/renovated further. Food at Solis was very good.

Had to follow up several times to have our room cleaned. Felt like the hotel was understaffed in this department (eg turndown service came after 8.30pm one night). Room service menu is a bit restrictive and could have a bit more variety. There’s also a couple of restaurants that have age restrictions (eg over 5 years). Gym hours are between 6am to 8pm - unclear why it’s not 24/7. The pool beds were constantly being reserved (towels placed on them) from early in the morning and were typically either empty or being used by people mainly sun baking. More shade and enforcement of unused “reserved” beds would be good.

The service by the amazing staff was impeccable absolutely friendly and so welcoming, Jacob at the solis bar was so welcoming and learning our names was such a special moment, would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Fiji to stay here. The activities in the pool Zumba and volley ball were super fun and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. I can not rate more highly x

Only downside would be the construction going on but it didn’t ruin our trip, but could hear it. And the lights in the room is awkward when someone wants to sleep and someone needs to use the light for the mirror it’s very bright b

We spent five nights at the Sofitel Denarau in the adults-only area, and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease—the atmosphere was calming, peaceful, and beautifully designed for relaxation. The adults-only section was a true highlight, offering a serene and exclusive retreat for us to do absolutely nothing but relax. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed - Dinner time especially so, their warmth and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. For anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway in Denarau, the Sofitel’s adults-only area is a fantastic choice. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return!

The food was brilliant—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, after five nights, we found that we had worked our way through most of the menu and doubled back. A wider or more varied selection would have made the dining experience even better, along with an expanded broader range of premium wine options

Overall, the Sofitel was beautiful, the staff were incredible and it had all of the facilities we could ever need for us and our little family.

However, if travelling with little ones it is important to note that in some rooms the kids bedroom is separated by a curtain rather than a door (as pictured). Staff were able to arrange for us to move rooms after one night but it was disappointing nonetheless. We spent some of our trip at the Denarau Sheraton Villas. The rooms were much more spacious and both restaurants and nannies were much more reasonably priced ($10 an hour for a nanny compared with $25)

All of the staff were extremely friendly and attentive-they even left a card and decorations in our room for our honeymoon. The restaurants were all delicious and great portions-although there wasn't too much choice for veggie/vegan. The breakfast & dinner buffets, specifically were really good with lots of choice (including veggie & vegan) The value was incredible for the room, service and half-board option we went for. The pool was great and there was plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. Everything was really clean and well presented, we especially appreciated the attention to the foliage around the entire resort. There was plenty to do with activities hosted throughout the day-although sitting by the pool was perfect!

With half-board you were given an amount per day and it meant we had to calculate this throughout the day ourselves, it would have been good to have some card/ reminders after each spend.

Large room, sun bed on the terrace.

Overcrowded. No free access coffee on the breakfast. Strong smell of chlorine from the pool, difficult to find a free sun bench, queues for breakfast. Had to wait in line until they gave me a table for breakfast. Imposing club membership of the hotel, paid services for access to the beach and pool. Only one pool is available to all guests, which makes it difficult to find a sun bench. Guests take each other's places and lie down on towels and swimsuits and clothes of other people in an attempt to take a place to sunbathe. Not pleasant and not hygienic.

We loved everything. We stayed at the Beach Club which is the part of the hotel that caters for adults only (no children). This meant it was absolute bliss lying by the pool and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We can't wait to return.

Can't think of anything we didn't like. It was amazing!

We loved the buffet breakfast daily, we loved the staff and their attention to detail, the rooms were always cleaned, turned down daily, sheets cleaned. Food was exceptional, pool was fantastic suited to both kids younger and older and adults, bar options and food options daily around the pool were great. Reception staff were able to help with transfers, bookings for day trips and answer all questions. The Spa was also amazing. I had 2 massages in our 2 week stay, I had a wash and blow dry and a facial, it was so relaxing. Special mention to Semi, he was incredible for the kids round the pool daily, activities all day, playing with them and allowing the kids to help with little jobs he was doing. Making the kids feel so special. He was our stand-out staff member of our trip. Emosi was another around the pool playing with the kids, running activities and making sure the kids were made to feel special. Vilimina, another stand out for us. She was in the laundry, she made sure our laundry didn't pile up, keeping our clothes clean. She even went the extra mile to help me keep our surprise wedding a secret, pressing our clothes on day 1 quickly and hiding them back in our room. She was such a beautiful lady and made our stay extra special. She would always greet us in the hall way and made a special visit to the kids and us before we left to say goodbye. Shout out to Camari who makes THE best Ice coffees in the buffet breaky. She made sure we were looked after every single morning. Finally Vani, who served us by the pool daily. She went above and beyond making sure the kids were kept hydrated, (and us). She looked after us so well every single day and her attention to detail in the service she provides is to be commended. Overall we had the more incredible 2 weeks staying at the Sofitel. I can highly recommend this resort and we will most definitely be back.
