We loved everything. We stayed at the Beach Club which is the part of the hotel that caters for adults only (no children). This meant it was absolute bliss lying by the pool and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We can't wait to return.

Staff were exceptional, so glad we opted for the beach club, although expensive. Loved the adult pool area and happy hour. The Saku bar, restaurant and food was amazing.

Was very disappointed in the seafood Buffet, food very average and way too expensive!

facilities good, food was great at buffet breakfast, also had dinner at restaurant Solis and buffet restaurant Bazaar which was very good. staff are so pleasant, friendly and attentive. easy access to port Denarau and other resorts via the Bula Bus.

access to the adults only section is via additional charge, not able to try the restaurant or pool there as a hotel guest without club access. pillows were very flat and uncomfortable to sleep on.

The Sofitel Resort & Spa is truly like paradise. The rooms are gorgeous, the resort is lush with plants, flowers and trees and the staff are warm and friendly. We booked a room with access to Waitui Beach Club which is absolutely dreamy! This is the adults only section of the Sofitel Resort & Spa and definitely the way to go for a relaxing holiday. The wonderful Vau welcomed us to the club everyday with such warmth and friendliness she made us feel like extended family. All the staff are truly wonderful, attentive and friendly and just made the whole experience joyful - Annie, Mary, Lusi, Kata, Wilma, Luke, Oswald, Pete - these are just a few! We booked the plus package that included a private cabana, complimentary daily laundry, one hour spa service, access to The Lounge and breakfast. The pool is gorgeous and includes a 25m infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well as a lagoon style section. The breakfast at the Waitui Bar & Grill is great and makes a nice change from rhe buffet. All day offerings pool side means lounging all day is an option. Our king plus room was gorgeous, the tiled floors were kept the room nice and cool and the room was exceptionally clean. There are several options for restaurants around the resort, Solis and Bazaar are good dinner option and Bazaar also has a buffet breakfast. The Fijian night at the Bazaar was fun and included a traditional performance. There are a few stores at the resort including a Jack’s of Fiji and Island Trader both great for souvenirs. Island Trader is also good for picking up any essentials and sundry items, also has selection of swimwear and clothing needed for island resort stay. Exceptional all round and definitely worth the additional amount, already looking at dates for the next stay 🌴 Update: we just returned from a second stay, one year on and we had the most fab time. So relaxing and joyful at the Waitii Beach Club.

Breakfast amazing, so much choice. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Clean room. Great gym. Very tidy property with good facilities.

We were told we were upgraded, but this ended up being an upgrade without any upgrades. We were not advised we were not allowed to use adult pool. Room was the furthest you could get from the facilities we were allowed to use so that was a definite negative. If you are upgrading, it should be that as really we were just put in a different room, ground floor which I had asked not to be if possible, and having to work a long way to pool we could use. Air con a bit noisy but once fan turned down was okay.

Gorgeous resort with the best kids club, so much to do. Buffet was amazing, best Kokoda in Fiji, a must!! We got an upgrade and had a lovely family room- fully renovated and felt brand new. Kids loved the water slide, shame it was shut a lot of the times though. Would have enjoyed the adult only club facilities as they looked amazing, unfortunately it was shut. Definitely needed more than 3 nights at this resort.

Getting a restaurant booking can be a challenge. No evening entertainment. Absolutely nothing to do if it rains. Service was a bit rusty after 18 months of shutdown.

It was beautiful and everyday has different activities for everyone like kids and adults. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Cleaners look after the room day and night. The staffs at the bar had a great customer service. They looked after us and wherever you go there are someone there looking after you. They are magnificent! We love the drinks at the bar and if you do not drink alcohol they have a lot of choices for non-alcoholic mock tails which was great!

We do not like that at the balcony, smokers can just hang around and smoke. They should not allow people who smoke mixed with non- smokers. We love to stay sometime at the balcony in our room during afternoon but when someone occupied the other unit beside us, we cant stay much longer due to full on cigarette smoke. We have health conditions that cannot tolerate that. Hopefully they should have rules for that.

The property is very well designed with French Modern and Fiji cultural touch. We loved over beach front room but unfortunately the mould smell in the room was making me be bit sick. Open request they have change my room which didn’t had a great view but no issues with mould smell.

The room I initially got had a very bad mould smell.

huge resort, extremely clean, luxurious rooms, nice view from balcony. beautiful lobby area, amazing staff, so helpful and friendly.

price of food, average food at solis restaurant. having to pay extra for many things at resort such as adults only pool and certain bars /lounges even though we already paid $1000 per night. we had to swim in the overcrowded children’s pool.

- The renovated rooms where lovely, spacious, clean and high quality. loved the family room with the sleeping area for kids. Mattresses were great! - Great PCR testing set up - easy to access and quick - good coffee options - the Solis restaurant was a lovely setting - the free movies on a rainy day were great for the kids - water slide for the kids was nice

- Not enough restaurant choices… basically just the buffet and Solis for families…. they have a nightclub which would be better served as a nice restaurant - food was just ok… better at Solis but the buffet was extremely expensive and just ok. - the spa was booked out a long time in advance, not big enough to cater for the size of the resort. - the beach was not nice, Seemed the same across Denaru Island - heard the facilities for adults only where great, very little for families to do except swim in the pool. - wifi dropped out a lot, although wet weather may have made this worse.
