Large TV. Large spaces. Corridors wide with understated elegant and simple design features. Hidden light fittings and nice carpet underfoot. Large lobby and meeting areas bright with natural lighting light coloured walls, upholstery and floors. Food and drink available (sandwiches and snacks) all night with on duty overnight staff. Cooled fresh water still and sparkling available free on tap 24hrs in glass containers. Sauna and bar rooftop. Vegan, and vegetarian choices extensive buffet breakfast. This is not an exhaustive list. The station is next door. Theres a public pool the otger side and all within walking distance of the sea. I had a great time and great value for money.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which was very spacious. A king size bed with firm mattresses. Plenty storage space if needed. Bathroom with wet floor and good shower, included also a washing mashine and dryer. Open space living area with a fully functional kitchen, and a large balcony with foldable glazing, so can be used even when it's raining. Easy access from the parking garage. Big shopping centre next to the hotel with two large supermarkets and a Lidl. Underground station next to the hotel taking ca 20 mins to Helsinki city centre. Beach within walking distance, but you can also rent a city bike. The nearest ones can be found outside the underground station.

Everything was great, but maybe better selection of pillows? They were both rather large and bulky.

The hotel is located right next to the entrance of the metro station, very easy to access downtown Helsinki. Breakfast was outsantding with a great variety of choices. Iso Omena shopping centre is 200 metres from the hotel and there is a swimming pool with a gym just 100 metres, behind the hotel building. There are rooftop saunas, which are open during the later afternoon.

The air conditioning/ fan provided a constant but low-level noise, which was strange first. Howeveer, after the first night I got used to it.

I thought the staff were exceptional and really made everything very easy. The room was the perfect temperature, very clean, and very comfy. And the location I didn't expect to be so convenient for shops and amenities. What a great place!

I would have ordered room service from the restaurant but I didn't anticipate how much the service fee would be so in the end i chose not to. But it would have been nice to see a menu, that could have changed my mind.

One of the best family hotel apartments i have ever stayed in. It is clean, modern, spacious and equipped with the necessary facilities to make a family's vacation comfortable. The kitchen and terrace was incredibly useful and comes in handy. The location is just perfect. Close to everything/metro, restaurants, shopping mall etc. The breakfast was great with lots of varieties. A must stay hotel for families with children who love space and comfort. Great value for money

There is not much i disliked at Hotel Matt.However, It would have been nice with information on aircondition adjustment in the rooms during summer.

Only 1 elevator per block - long waiting time Dryer didn't work - whatever program I used it just stops after 5 mins No dishwashing liquid and sponge or detergent. Finding way to hotel parking is confusing for the first time (even they send a guide how to find it) - need some extra signs there when getting underground Difficult to find the way to reception from underground parking - would be nice to make some arrow sign to reception entrance. Spent around 10 minutes to find how to get from parking to hotel for the first time, running stairs up and down and facing locked doors. Only when leaving the hotel, I discover that there was an entrance with Reception caption in the end of parking floor next to parking enter/exit - it's quite visible when driving-in, but I haven't noticed that

The location of the hotel is perfect, situated just next to the metro stadion and shopping mall Iso Omena. Metro takes you to the center of Helsinki in less than 30 min. Iso Omena provides variety of places for shopping and dining. Vising the swimming pool and gym next door can be a perfect start of the day. Apartments provide opportunities for cooking and making laundry if needed. The balcony is spacious.

The AC system is a bit loud, however didn't cause problems with a night sleep. TV wake up function is really good, however be aware that it is very loud.

The hotel has a very nice atmosphere. There is also everything you need in a room - teapot, tea and instant coffee, fridge. There is also sauna and a terrace but we didn't use it. The breakfast was also great!

The only disappointing thing was that the parking was not for free. Although it's my fault that I didn't pay attention to this fact in the description. Otherwise everything was great.

Visited June/July. Everything exceeded my expectations. Everything is fairly new and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast had wide variety of food, so everybody should be able to find something they like. The room was spacious, very clean, and well equipped with a large TV (semi smart TV), free wifi, hairdryer, iron and ironingboard, spacious closets, and very nice bathroom. Freja restaurant had friendly staff and good food. The outdoor area was very cosy. Parking garage was great and had charging stations for our hybrid rental car. Easy to get around. Shopping just around the corner. Quiet neighbourhood. Short distance to the beach and waterfront. Overall an excellent hotel - great value for the price - highly recommend.

Directions on how to adjust temperatures in the room. The temperatures were high outside (25-30 C), and we had difficult time adjusting the AC.

The hotel is in Espoo. A large but comfortable, clean, and quiet hotel. Good breakfast and quality hotel cuisine await you. There is a big shopping mall next to the hotel. In addition, a large swimming pool awaits you. Likewise, there are 2-3 quiet beaches near the hotel. The subway is under the hotel. The subway entrance is the side door of the hotel. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the center of Helsinki, Kammpi, or the train station. Good choice to stay. Thanks to the management for their hospitality.
