Nice, quiet location. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Good price for Helsinki. There is a tram stop literally outside the door, which was helpful, and a 24 hour supermarket a couple of minutes down the road.

It's not really ideal for long stays (more than a couple of nights). Room design is style over function: no space to put a large suitcase. No wardrobe - a few hooks on the wall, but only four hangers provided (which aren't suitable for hanging trousers on). Table/chair are folding and normally hang on the wall.

The hotel is spectacular, true to its name Art eXperience. The room was very clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. There was a great selection for breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner and cocktails at the hotel restaurant and bar, where the friendliness of the waitress and the bartender really added to the experience. The city center is easily reachable by tram line 9, which has a stop right at the hotel. Tram line 7 and the metro are also within walking distance. We also appreciated the closeness of Helsinki West Terminal T2 when we booked a morning ferry trip to Tallinn. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel AX.

With two suitcases and no clothes closet, room space was somewhat tight, but in every other aspect, the room was superb.

Lovely hotel with really cool design and art. The rooms were on the smaller size but very cozy and didn’t feel claustrophobic. The matras and pillows were incredibly comfortable 5 stars for that! The location is a newer neighborhood without too much to do around the hotel but it’s walking distance to city center and very easy to get everywhere with public transport from the street of the hotel. The area felt very safe. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast.

Breakfast was the same every day which was a little disappointing as we staid there for 5 nights (and they had a small verity of dishes) it was quite nice though.

A fancy modern room, but rather on the small side with little space to spare. Nice staff and cool decor, although not all room paintings were beautiful. Good location next to the tram and a couple of supermarkets. Interesting area, too.

The plates at breakfast were ridiculously small, the smallest I ever saw in any hotel around the world. The same were most of the trays so some of them emptied in literally minutes. You had to wait then to be refilled which did happen eventually. The staff was working continuously but there were a lot of guests so it took time. The real problem was, however, the super repetitive breakfast. By the 5th day I gave up on breakfast completely. The variety was rather small and to eat absolutely the same things every single morning : same bread, same ham, same fruit and same sweets was absolutely discouraging. Apart from that it is a good hotel.

The hotel is modern and full of art. Room is very cozy and unique. Bed was extremely good and comfy 10/10. In the room you have all the necessary supplies to make tea, also few books to read. Blackout curtains are electronically controlled, which was extremely convenient. Location is great, very close to the ships terminal.

Would prefer the standard room to be a bit bigger, there is not much room besides the bed. The breakfast didn’t have the biggest selection of foods (however it was still delicious).

Really lovely hotel, good location and nearby transport connections. Tram stop right outside and 5 minutes walk to the Metro, through a lovely neighbourhood. All felt very safe. Excellent facilities in the hotel, rooms were lovely and well designed, with nice products provided for use. Incredibly comfortable beds! Huge TV, which was appreciated, as we wanted to watch some of the Women's World Cup. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff made up a nice packed breakfast for me on my day of departure. All the staff were incredibly helpful, and made sure my stay was comfortable. Handy Kiosk shop next door, and some good places to eat nearby, including a lovely Vietnamese place. I've travelled extensively, and stayed in much more expensive hotels, but this is honestly one of my favourite stays of all time. Would definitely recommend this to others, and I hope to be back in Helsinki next spring, so will stay again.

A robe in the room is always nice, but sadly not this time! Everything else was great.

The hotel staff was super friendly. The bed was really comfortable. The room and all other facilities were clean. Nice large window in the room. The breakfast is really good and the breakfast times are long.

First of all, there was no wardrobe in the room and I found that a bit difficult. There were hangers, but I would say that it wasn't enough storage. Especially for two persons. Second, there was no desk/table in the room, only a small foldable table. Last point: I knew that it is an art hotel. And I also saw the pictures, but it still felt a bit strange. Would not count that as bad, but it's clearly not a usual hotel.

beautiful artsy hotel in the corner of Helsinki city center. a good tram stop within 2 minutes walking of the hotel building. mini market right beside it. I have to give special shoutout to the amazingly helpful staff and the compact room. breakfast was also above standard, loved the fried pancakes and mango/blueberry chia pudding. Please retain them when I revisit Helsinki again.

the toilet is pretty small, bidet did not work. breakfast options can also be improved to menu changes daily so that people who stay more than 1 nights can try other local delicacies. tiny feedback :)
