I liked that I was able to help my daughter with grandbabies without having to rent two separate rooms. The beds were comfortable. Place was clean and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Did have a pool, laundry room and gym. Great variety for breakfast. Did not get to use the pool, but did use the gym. Was provided a pac n play for youngest grandson. He had fallen off the bed, so this was greatly appreciated.

Room location. Far from elevator and stairs were hard with toddlers and luggage. Lock did not lock on a bedroom door. One toilet made a loud squealing sound all night.

The staff, both housecleaning and maintenance were very helpful and considerate. Katy, one of the workers at the front desk during evenings was very helpful, as was the gentleman working the desk the next morning. Their consideration in dealing with me, a disabled person with a few health issues, made my stay that much more pleasant.

The price. Although this is not a reflection on the staff working at the motel. This is more of a corporate issue, as well as a "state of California" issue, where most everything is pretty expensive, when compared to most places.

Check In staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite spacious and comfortable. The breakfast served was very satisfactory with just enough variety for different people with different diets.

While the check in staff was pretty helpful, as was the cleaning/maintenance staff, their boss, the manager was pretty stiff and inflexible. I had stayed there for some time and was a decent guest, but the manager couldn't see me leave quickly enough when it was time for me to leave. Considering the fact that my credit there was solid, this behavior was kinda negative..

Everything was great! Except the internet....

The internet worked the first night but then quit. I spoke with the staff and they were aware of the issue, however, we were there for a week and it never was corrected. This even hampered how my phone worked with its internet. This was an issue because I had to go somewhere else to get the internet to work.

The property is 2200 ft away from the State Beach, a place of high value in sentiment and memory. Well manicured street faces, a clean and welcoming lobby, and a facility well-protected from the cacophony and heat of the freeway behind it.

We genuinely can’t think of anything, but since I have room here, the manager and front desk girl were incredibly kind and helpful when we needed anything and I hope y’all take good care of them!

The bed was comfortable, the in-room HVAC worked well, all appliances were in working condition. I especially liked the availability of an electric car charger in the parking lot; I used it 3 times during my stay.

We found a live roach and 5 or 6 small black bugs in the room over the course of our stay. The breakfast area was crowded; social distancing was impossible and I witnessed a guest clearing his throat with his mouth open over the food serving area. That's not the hotel's fault since people are people.

The room was clean and there was a perfectly sized kitchenette in our double bedroom space. However we were told there would be a fold out couch and there was not. All the cots and roll away beds were also taken so we had a child sleep on the floor which wasn't ideal. There was a yummy continental style breakfast served with oatmeal, omelets, bagels, potatoes, etc. And the rooms and guests were quiet. I felt totally safe here with my 4 kids and the staff was friendly and very responsive! Will come again!

the pool/hot tub close at 9. On weekends maybe have it a bit later. I was so looking forward to the hot tub upon arrival after 9 from a two day car ride to find it closed. room 101 bathroom door needs adjusting it does not close or open without waking everyone up. Please put a tongs in the hard boiled egg container with the way the world is Covid etc.. people just trying to grab one with their fingers is not appealing but yet comical to watch. Breakfast was excellent every day-thank you.

The room actually had TWO rooms, to make it more comfortable for a physically Disabled person. A person in a wheelchair could have maneuvered themselves around this motel room very easily. I have a "problem leg" and the extra room to my room made it extremely comfortable when I stayed there and created less complications for my bad leg. i use a walking stick/cane to get around, and sometimes it helps to have some extra room to maneuver. This room had more than enough room..

Honestly, I have NOTHING to complain about. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The fact that a very satisfactory breakfast buffet is laid out in the morning is a very nice fringe benefit. I have nothing to complain about regarding this motel..

The staff were all very friendly. The pool and hot tub were nice and my kids ate the breakfast.

The room I booked was a King Suite with a pullout. This property no longer has pull outs. When I asked about switching I was going to be charged MORE than I had been already. for something beyond my control. I don't know if this was bookings fault or the hotel but I wasn't happy. We ended up buying an air mattress for my kids. Also, some of the people staying there were questionable but overall it was fine.
