LEGOLAND Castle Hotel in California is an enchanting getaway that truly delivers on every front. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless. Dining options were also impressive, with a variety of tasty meals that catered to all ages. Overall, I highly recommend LEGOLAND Castle Hotel for anyone looking for a memorable family vacation. Whether you're a LEGO enthusiast or just after a unique hotel experience, this place is sure to impress!

Everything was perfect

Everything in this hotel is wonderfully themed. No detail has been overlooked. The rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable, there's a pool for the kids, and multiple playgrounds. It's a definite plus!

We had booked a pirate-themed room at the LEGO hotel, but upon arrival, we found out that the hotel was suddenly closed. During check-in, the situation was somewhat casually addressed, with the explanation that everyone had been called, and if we hadn’t heard anything, it was our fault. It was a bit disappointing. The replacement room at the castle hotel was excellent, deserving a solid 10 rating, so no complaints there. However, the communication could have been better. It’s also essential to be vigilant to avoid being charged an additional resort fee. We had already paid this fee through Booking, but it appeared on our final bill. It was resolved promptly, but it took unnecessary time.

Location can't be beat for visiting Legoland. The hotel is very fun for the kids. We appreciated the little extras. Breakfast had a really good variety. Room size was decent.

Check-in was cumbersome, the staff who "helped" me wasn't very helpful. No mention of paying for parking. It was too noisy (loudspeaker or something) in the courtyard outside our room until too late for a hotel full of kids. We had requested a pack-n-play when I made the reservation, it wasn't in the room when we arrived. Pool lifeguards were a little too intense.

The experience exceeded my expectations. The room was decorated so cute, and the beds were comfortable. There were a lot of extras- complementary breakfast, the treasure hunt, and activities. It felt very family friendly and safe. The staff were all fantastic! I also appreciated being able to enter the park a little early by being a hotel guest.

It was a little confusing whether our resort hopper tickets included the water park or not.

The property was well maintained and a fun atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the proximity to the park couldn’t be beat.

The dinner was just okay. Guests should get free parking since they are staying at the hotel. The pool rules were hard to have fun. My less than 48” kid is a great swimmer but had to wear a life jacket because he was small. They should let them do a swim test or something especially since the pool isn’t that big.

We loved how well thought out the room was for families like the bunk room, removable shower head, step stool and nightlights. We also loved the nightly entertainment which we didn’t know about before coming. My kids especially enjoyed the outdoor movie and the magic show.

Not crazy about the extra $60 a night for combination of resort fee and parking. Also our room was a LONG walk from the elevator. We also would have stayed an extra night had we known about the live shows which my kids really loved. I also did have to call the front desk several times because we were missing room items and it’s not easy to reach them.

The breakfast option was a standout feature. It made our mornings more convenient and added great value to our stay. The variety offered ensured that everyone in our family found something they enjoyed.

Unfortunately, the walls in our room were quite thin. We could hear the family above us clearly, and their loud stomping made it difficult to relax at times. This significantly impacted our overall experience.

The bunk bed with trundle underneath was perfect for our three children! They loved the nightly Lego surprise (treasure hunt) and the lobby legos. We also loved the restaurant in the Castle Hotel where they could bring the legos to the dinner table to play with. Such a kid friendly hotel! Breakfast was nice and the juice and water bottles in room were also appreciated.

I couldn't find any water fountains or filling stations in the hotel or around the park. The one place I found was in the fitness room. It was nice to have the two free water bottles and apple juices per day but we drink a lot of water between our family of 5.

Hotel activities. Friendly staff. Complimentary water, juice, hot cocoa, coffee. On site restaurant other than buffet. Early park access!

Pool hours (opens so late). We wanted to swim our morning of checkout. Wished mexican breakfast option was available every morning! We are gluten free, 2nd morning was ham and cheese sandwiches and French toast so had few options to choose from.

The property was well kept and right outside of the LEGOLAND amusement park. The beds were comfortable the room was very clean and the front desk text number was very responsive.

It was hard to actually find staff to ask questions however once we discovered the text number responses were provided very quickly. My room faced the playground and it was very loud until 10pm every night.
