The view was absolutely beautiful! I had the curtains opened the entire time because I couldn’t get over how stunning the view was. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the fact they use warm yellow lights instead of white, it made the room feel very cozy. The staff in both the restaurant and the hotel were amazing and very friendly and welcoming, everyone we spoke to made sure we felt comfortable and welcome here which was lovely. The food and drinks here are 10/10. This trip was for my birthday and the staff even left balloons, chocolates and a stroop waffle in my room when we came back from our outing which made my birthday even better. All the staff here truly go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay, I can’t wait to come back!

There were signs of wear and tear and dust in the room, the bathroom could do with a few touch ups too but I’m very eagle eyed.

Absolutely loved staying here! The staff we're so friendly and very accommodating! We ended up arriving extremely early, they let us drop our bags off and told us they'd send a message when the hotel was ready; this allowed us to do a little exploring in the morning! Within the hour we were called saying the room was ready! They also provided a card and balloons for my birthday :) thank you to the team at Hilton who made my birthday amazing and allowed me to have a relaxing trip! The area is a little on the industrial side, as our uber told us they're reconstructing this area to create new apartments, however the hotel is like a 20 minute walk from a few of the immersive museums. I was a bit skeptical at first regarding the ferry, however the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the ferry and honestly you wouldn't even bat an eye.

Despite its location outside the city center, reaching this hotel is a breeze! The complimentary ferry, available every 10 minutes from Amsterdam Central Station to Amsterdam Noord, makes the journey effortless. A mere 3-minute walk from the ferry station leads you to the hotel. The surrounding area boasts numerous restaurants and a nearby Albert Heijn for added convenience. Our room was a highlight of the stay, with a spectacular view facing the river. The floor-to-ceiling glass wall allowed us to enjoy the beautiful cityscape simply by opening the curtain at night. The room's comfort, aesthetics, and modern design exceeded our expectations. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and the luxurious bathroom featured top-tier brands. We relished our stay to the extent that we found it difficult to leave until check-out. Without a doubt, we plan to return on our next visit to Amsterdam!

Absolutely nothing! The exceptional hospitality even included a delightful cookie during the check-in process, enhancing our overall positive experience.

Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the nicest hotel showers we recall in all of our travels. Interesting view of the wharf, though obscured by neverending rain :( Free ferry from Centraal station (take F4 or F5, there are a few other routes which we got confused by).

The room is ridiculously small. They market it as able to fit 3 adults potentially, that seems outright impossible since the “sofa bed” is tiny and barely fit even our kid. The room price was also very high, there was a rave festival going on so it may be attributed to that

The hotel is in a newer precinct and while more challenging to get to by taxi from the airport, it was very easy to hop the free ferry and head into the city once there. The room overlooked the river with floor to ceiling windo and the veiew was great. The staff were attentive and helpful. The bar was funky and comfortable. There are several other food venues in the neighbourhood

The breakfast was expensive and nothing to rave about but this may have been more due to our timing.

Honestly, there is nothing bad to say about my stay in the hotel - the room was clean, parking was easy and reliable, the staff was very professional and friendly. Most importantly, the location is really good. You’d think that because it’s at the “wrong” side of the canal, that it makes it more difficult to get around, but there is a FREE ferry literally a 2-minute walk away. It’s great, I’d stay in this hotel again anytime.

Nothing to complain about.

Rooms were tiny, but well-appointed. Lighting was a bit dim - no noise issues and everything worked. The front desk staff were phenomenal and very accommodating, at all times making our group of 14 feel welcome. Breakfasts were really good with eggs made to order and a nice variety of fruits, veggies, breads, juices, coffee, tea and more. Loved the location just a (free) short ferry ride away from central Amsterdam and with a grocery store (with ATM!), cafes and a few restaurants nearby. Funky, artsy neighborhood with plenty of summer goings-on was a plus. Small elevators were just right and worked without issue.

We booked half-board as we were a group, but the property was only able to serve dinner for two nights of our stay. To its credit, the property did make arrangements for dinner at a nearby restaurant, but the limited menu offered there, paired with the lack of variety became taxing on the group and we ended up having to purchase dinner elsewhere to break the monotony. All the same, dinner at the DoubleTree (even with its small menu) was superb. The group enjoyed the salmon, pasta and pizza. The hotel bar was friendly and a great place to hang out with drinks. We'd select this location OVER Amsterdam's other Doubletree location for value and pure fun.

We had two rooms, which were located right next to each other, which was great. Rooms were clean and a good size, everyday cleaning fantastic. Check in was great, lovely warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival was a nice touch, they were able to lock up our bags as we arrived early. Location was fantastic, the ferry is every 15 minutes and is free and takes you to direct to central where you can get to everything easily. Supermarket 2-minute walk away. Loved our stay!

Overall, everything was great. We liked the location, 10 min ferry ride to the central station and the old town. The view from the room was amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, with good variety to choose from. Also the staff was friendly and helpful.

One small suggestion we can give is for lunch to have more variety of foods, especially vegeterian ones, like different pasta, rice and beans. And also the portions to be bigger, cause we order pasta and vegeterian burger, but we were still hungry.

I really liked the location, easy to reach with public transportation! Very clean rooms, beautiful bathroom and enough space. Also a very nice hotel lobby, friendly staff and yummy cookies! Definitely going to visit more often

The parking information was a bit unclear to me so i ended up paying 15 euro's to park my car. Intake was a bit long for me and my partner because we had a long day and just wanted to check in and rest a bit.
