The hotel location was excellent. It's set in a quiet area of rich woodland with great walks. The restaurant was good and breakfast especially was varied. The staff were very helpful, English speaking and professional. There were plenty of extra facilities that I didn't use. Billiards room, pool, newspapers, room service, massage, spa etc so I can't comment but I imagine they were of good quality.

To be fair, I booked a single room and that is what I was given. It was basic accommodation for a four star hotel. 1980s student room style. It suited me and I had no complains but I have to suggest others might feel it was below par. The hotel is larger than anticipated so its noisy and echoes but as most clients were older people the noise didn't last late into the night. I need to book early for dinner even as a resident. Getting to it probably requires a car. There appears to very ample parking.

Visited before - good room, comfy bed, decent breakfast, set in pleasant leafy grounds. Good value

Getting a coffee was not easy - they seemed short staffed. Used to be tea and coffee makings in room - now removed. Disabled access to the breakfast room could be difficult - no alternative to steps. Breakfast was laid out in one room and dining in another and there were no trays.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Check-in was easy and pleasant.

We came in late and were woken up abruptly between 8 and 9am to construction (hammering, drills, etc.) going on in the room next door. I poked my head out to find out what was going on and was told that they were changing out a light fixture next door. It would have been polite if they waited until checkout to start this work.

The location is wonderful, right at the starting point of a number of beautiful walks. The hotel is an updated version of a country hotel, of which there are a number in the area. Breakfast is good, staff helpful and the hotel is very good value for money. It has a restaurant with limited options, and there are convenience products in use, but for a hotel it's an okay restaurant. Very spacious rooms, all with a balcony.

Post-corona, staff seemed to be new, or not accustomed yet to the hotel (new staff)

The nature and location are very peaceful. Great breakfast (but no toaster). Comfy bed and pillows. Late hours for indoor pool was nice. Great terrace to have a drink and relax over the greenery.

For a 4-star hotel, the towels are scratchy and thin, and the bathroom facilities are sub-par. This property seems to be an old-style resort that has only partially renovated. It's very expensive for what you get in your room.

Lift was archaic We were asked to vacate the bar for a bridge club and told it was ok to take our drinks to our rooms! Bar then shut around 10pm but bridge club didn’t show so we felt patronised and disappointed Breakfast was orange (coloured) and not healthy

The hotel was located in a forest. The atmosphere was quite and pleasant and the staff was very kind.

The room didn't have a refrigerator. The furniture was kind of old and the building not renovated for pretty long time.

The location was perfect for visiting our son and he s girlfriend who live in Berg en dal. The bed was big and very comfortable; the shower was good with lots of hot water.

The lift doesn't get to all the places we had to carry our suitcases up and downstairs just to get out of the hotel it was like an escape room very complicated.

Food was delicious room was great and the shower got nice an hot. I will stay there again. Hotel is a short walk from a bus station too.

Had a room service menu that didn't belong to my room so when I ordered it never showed up. I had to go to the front desk to figure out what happened.
