Campanile Aix En Provence Ouest - Jas de Bouffan

Campanile Ouest is a beautiful 3 star hotel with nice rooms and very comfortable beds. It was pristine clean every day we stayed there. The restaurant has an outdoor patio overlooking a tranquil garden and the pool. There was plenty of parking space which is kept secure with an electric gate that closes at 7 pm. The food was very provenzal and the menu changed every day.

Because it is an affordable 3 star hotel, they did not provide soap or shampoo and conditioner. Only a gel product. They were a bit stingy with the tea, but if we asked for more they had no problem giving it to us.

We loved the peaceful location. The grounds were very pretty and the pool was clean and lovely to have a swim in. The room was great and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we'd especially like to thank Yoanne for all his time and help. It was also great that the bus stop is right by the hotel and that the buses come so frequently - plus, it's only a few minutes on the bus into Aix. All in all, this hotel was perfect for us!!

A couple of days our tea/milk in our room weren't refreshed - but when we mentioned this to reception, they instantly helped us. Thank you again for a really relaxing and enjoyable stay!! We'd love to come back!

We got exactly what we expected from this kind of hotel chain: good, solid accomodation, good breakfast and dinner. The pool was a very welcome addition to the package, of which we benefited as much as we could. Also, I was suprised by the generous size of the room and bathroom for this kind of chain accommodation. We had a room on the ground floor, and it was lovely to fall asleep and wake up in the sound of the summer crickets (at least I think they were crickets). It is a great place from where to visit Aix-en-Provence (we went by our own car, but there is a bus stop just in front of the facility). And if you are there and you are into arts, a visit to the nearby Vasarely Foundation (less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel, 2 minutes by car) is a must - you will get an amazing experience. We LOVED the lady who was serving us dinner/drinks two days in a row: she was dedicated, funny, sociable, solving problems and meeting everyone's needs with a smile and with a good word (in English or French) for everyone. Sorry I did not catch her name, but she was lovely.

I can't think of anything to mention here. Perhaps that I found some spider webs in the room, above the door, but otherwise the room was really clean

The hotel was very conveniently located both for driving and taking the bus into Aix, and had plenty of free parking in a secure lot. The bathrooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The cozy lighting and desk space were a bonus.

The rooms smelled of mold and the entry carpets were wet when we arrived. One of our rooms had a door alarm that went off frequently and the temperature was very warm even when we turned the heat off.

Considering the price nothing. Some people might prefer a more “up market” hotel but this was good value

Easy parking as out of town a bit but it was on a frequent running bus route so perfect. Very clean, serviced daily. Comfortable bed.

Walls were very thin. Could hear neighbours beside and above.

The hotel is in a great location, the bus stop close by takes you directly into the centre of AIx-en-Provence, the hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff were great. Will definitely stay again.

The swimming pool was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our waiter Daouda from Senegal was fantastic.

Quite conveniently located for a visit to Aix, close to major roads. The staff was really nice and friendly, the restaurant has decent food and reasonable prices.

The air conditioning was not working and there was no good way to air the room during the night. The pool is small and the water was murky, not really inviting.
