So close to town, room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to us only speaking English. 100% would stay again. Great kitchen facilities and spotless clean. Nice to have a balcony and heated towel rail. Lots of hangers in the room to store clothes
Not having a change of towels for our stay, felt a bit dirty after 4 days. The shower is very very small and the curtain is difficult to navigate because it sticks to you and water spills over onto the floor if your not careful. Glass would be so much more user friendly. Also the tap is super hot and because the cubical is so small you accidentally bump it and it burns. Pillows were uncomfortable

This was my third visit to Sejours and Affairs. This year my brothers and their wives came from England to join me for a few days at the hotel and, as they left, they made a big point of thanking me for introducing them to Sejours and Affairs. It is such a reasonably priced hotel and so central. A real bargain. This year I would particularly like to thank Tristan, who was on the reception desk when I arrived, and who had organized a hairdryer and an iron for me, as I had requested. I had a problem with my Aussie mobile phone when I first arrived, and Tristan made a big effort to help me with the problem. Other than receptionist Tristan, my hero, the Sejours breakfasts are really good value. Coffee must be expensive now in France because the servings at other cafes and restaurants are very small. But strong breakfast coffee is unlimited at Sejours! Apart from the great coffee, Sejours have a wide range of breads and pastry, butters and cheeses, ham and chicken, fruit juices, cereals - far, far more that you get at local cafes, where breakfast is limited to coffee, juice and a pastry or maybe a piece of bread and butter and jam. So, if you love your food and you want to eat healthily, I think you should try the Sejours breakfast! As other guests have said, Sejours is really central, with two good supermarkets and several good cafes just a few steps away from the hotel. And the delights of The Alleys and the wonderful Cours Mirabeau just a couple of streets away. Aix en Provence is a wonderful city, I have never been anywhere else so full of life. No sooner does one amazing event end, than another one springs up! The design of the city streets is perfect for demonstrations, competitions, etc. And the people are so friendly! So positive! Aix en Provence is a very, very special community. Can't wait to get back!!!!
The bathroom plumbing was a bit wonky during my last couple of days - but these things happen.

The location was excellent. we happened to be staying at the hotel on July 14 (Bastille Day), so all the festivities were happening near the hotel, including the spectacular fireworks. The room was very quiet due to the additional door that separates the little corridor with a bathroom from the living area, so no noises from the hall were coming through. We came by car, so we appreciated immensely a garage being under the building with an easy access by the elevator.
There was not a single channel in English, so we could not watch news. There was an ironing board, but no iron. It would be nice to have two towels in the kitchen: one for wiping the counters, another for drying the dishes.

Most was good. Helpful staff. Comfortable little apt.
I have allergies & found it difficult to breathe. I believe the air filters in the bathroom & on the air conditioning need to be changed. Bathroom fan runs constantly. There was alot of dust clinging to it (visible by naked eye). Dirty filters allow mold & mildew to grow. My nose was running, sinus blocked, dry cough, etc. Pretty sure due to the filter situation.

The Staff were very friendly. The rooms were great
Courtyard we were overlooking could do with some TLC Was told on checking in that I could avail of luggage room on the day I was checking out as my flight was not until late afternoon On the day I was checking out it was a public holiday and the woman at reception , told me the luggage room was closed .So I was left at midday to hang onto my bags, it was lashing rain outside so I could not walk around the town with my case. I ended up going to the airport three hours before I intended to , and Terminal 2 in Marseille airport is not a nice location to kill three extra hours notoph of the two hours recommended pre flight. It ruined my last day and left sour taste in my mouth after an otherwise nice stay

The residence is located very close to the bus station (buses from the airport), the railway station and the centre of Aix. Everything can be reached easily within several minutes of walk. There are various shops close by and a lot of shops and restaurants in the centre. The residence occupies the first and the second floor of a 4-floor building. There are about 45 rooms on each floor. This is student accommodation, so there is no regular cleaning service and the guests have to throw all the trash before leaving (which was fine with me). The rooms are made up by a small corridor, a bathroom (a small one) and a room with a kitchen corner and a balcony. It is difficult to take a bath without flooding the whole bathroom. Breakfast is served on the ground floor. I did not take it but my colleague who did was happy with it. It is possible to make coffee in the room (there is a kettle in the kitchinette, there is also a microwave). There is a fridge, and air-conditioning. I found it quite good and suitable both for short-term and longer-term stays. Wifi worked well throughout the stay. The two persons as the reception (a young man and a lady) were both nice and helpful as was the cleaning lady. When we arrived, my colleague's room was not yet ready but the cleaning lady, when she saw we were waiting outside the residence, just did her room on a priority basis, which was very welcome.
I was very unlucky when checking in, I got a terrible room (noise, strange smell) and since we arrived on Sunday, I could not change it. On Monday however when the reception was staffed, I was moved to a different room and everything was fine from that moment on. Just avoid the room next to the lift, there is something strange in it (I got so sick there).

The location is conveniently close to the main bus and train station. Unlike many thin-walled hotel rooms, unless you get some really noisy neighbours, it's silent during the night. As for the room equipment, you get what they promise. The kitchen was really fully equipped, which is rare. You could easily live in the apartment even for a long time period. Last but not least, the staff was very helpful throughout the stay, thank you again :-)

Great location, clean, and really liked having the kitchenette. AC was wonderful given the high temps. Staff let us store our bags before and after check in which was very helpful and kind. Easy to walk everywhere including train station and main town area. Good value.
The room may have the smallest shower possible and I am a small/short woman. I only write this as it was actually amusing. I had to turn the water off to open the shower curtain so I could bend to shave my legs. This is not a complaint. Just be advised if you are a big person. :) I would stay again.

It was clean and comfortable. We could rent a spot in the parking lot and the check-in was organized and easy. The staff is agreeable and serious. It was very appreciated Moreover, we appreciated how close it is located from the city center, which was very convenient.
A little more color in the apartment (everything is dark grey or white, even the floor) would have been appreciated.

The price, the location and the staff were all excellent! We were close to everything in Aix-en-Provence. The bed had to be the most comfortable hotel bed I slept in years. I was totally satisfied.
The room was a little small and the bathroom and shower were small and not very well laid. Having said this the place was clean and from my experience traveling in Europe, this is something North Americans should accept while staying in Europe. This difference only adds to the experience.
