Excellent location Nice reception staff Available paid parking off site approx 2 blocks away in uncovered lot; Room was modern, clean and well decorated. The best unexpected feature - their restaurant where the food was amazing! Initially we strolled to dine outside but were surrounded by “tourist trap” restaurants. We didn’t want to take the risk of crappy food so we googled and read the fine reviews of the dining place at the hotel. We went back and were pleasantly surprised at not only how good the food was, but also the great ambiance of the place. Most of all, there was a remarkable jazz pianist playing jazz standards and nostalgic broadway tunes!

The bedroom facilities are amazing. Showers with multiple settings, heated mirror, TV speakers in the wall, large beds, coffee machine. The reception staff was exceptional.

The housekeepers being incredibly loud EACH morning at 8:25am in the corridors. Shouting and not thinking of the guest sleeping. Also vacuuming corridors at 9am is a no no !!! The hotel and room are designed for piece and quiet (wall speakers, wooden floor, courtyard view..) shame the staff goes and ruined that. For a property with such high quality it was also let down by the breakfast being continental only. That lazy even more when they have a restaurant with kitchen. Breakfast buffet with hot options would be nice in a nicer setup then on top of the bar !

We arrived by bike, but the room wasn't ready as we were early. The bikes were securely stored without issue, and given a complimentary drink while we waited. This is a boutique style hotel by the river. All staff were very pleasant and we had an enjoyable stay with a great selection for breakfast. We opted for a better room when booking and this was excellent - large with great sized shower and separate toilet. It was quiet, despite being in the centre of Bayonne, with a small balcony. We were able to enjoy a quiet drink when getting back to the hotel after dinner in the covered outdoor area and enjoyed a great breakfast the following morning. The staff were very attentive, we never had to 'catch someone's eye'.

The receptionist went out of his way to help us with parking. The room was small but very well laid-out and very comfortable. Plumbing and shower were excellent, as were the amenities. The restaurant, where we had dinner one evening, was really good with delicious food (the main pork dish was especially tasty as was the tuna). Matthieu, who served us was exceptional, both with his willingness to explain each dish and with his deep knowledge of wine. Finally, the location was very central and a good place to explore this charming town.

We loved this hotel. The staff are wonderful, kind, warm and helpful. The hotel is impeccably clean. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of options. The room we had was quiet, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and linens. The shower and bathroom were excellent. It had great air conditioning. The restaurant was surprisingly good with a musician singer on Saturday night. Parking was very near the hotel and easy to access. The location of this lovely hotel is perfect. Bayonne is a delightful city to visit. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay.

This modern small boutique hotel is in a good location for train or self driving travelers, quick walk over the main bridge to train station or to where the town center has many shops, restaurants or groceries. Inside the hotel the lobby, bar and restaurant are on the ground floor with open spaces. Our room on the 5th floor is super clean with nice toiletries and a good shower. We had a quick breakfast, coffee, croissant and orange juice for a very reasonable price in early morning before heading to train station. Yes, I would recommended this nice hotel for visitors.

I will like to make a note about reception staff allowing another customer interrupting our check in process. We were standing in front of her desk answering her questions, when she turned to discuss another customer’s not urgent questions. It would be good business practice for staff to ask customer please wait their turn.

I couldnt fault this hotel . We booked two rooms for 2 adult and 2 children as the junior suite wasnt available . The hotel is a new hotel and all furniture and fittings were of a top quality . Hotel is immaculate . Staff are very friendly and accomodating . This hotel is top quality .

The only thing i would like to see in the room is a small fridge. The room didnt have one Staff accommodated us by allowing us to use their kitchen fridge . It would be of benefit in summer months to keep water cool

close to what we wanted to see. also had parking nearby for a reasonable fee. checkin and front desk were very professional and efficient. Speaking English was not a problem. the room and bathroom were clean,nicely decorated and made good use of the space.

only one small problem when we were returning to our room just before checking out: We had to go between our room and the front desk 3 times because our room keys didn’t work. finally the front desk staff person came up and opened the door for us. this was especially stressful because we’d been out all morning and wanted to shower and rest for a few minutes before a long drive to our next destination. the staff grudgingly said we could have a few minutes past the regular checkout time.

Beautiful hotel, artfully decorated in a great location, just over the bridge and a short walk to train station. Very comfortable bed, good sized room and bathroom. Hotel had a restaurant and very nice har area. Staff was very helpful with advice on best way to go to Biarritz.

My only complaint with the hotel is that the room definitely needed better lighting as it was very dark by the bed and main part of room. Had to use the flashlight on my phone to make coffee. Plenty of lights in and near bathroom, but only small accent lights by the bed that weren't too functional.

Staff was fantastic. They overheard us talking about my birthday and had a chocolate gift delivered to my room with a note Everyone , from check-in to bar to dinner was warm and welcoming. Our French is poor but their English is excellent. I loved the layout of the spacious room with the separate toilet room and bathing room. The public spaces are modern and stylish.
