Not quite the typical IBIS Styles because it's in an adapted old building, so no restaurant and a tiny bathroom. But the location and breakfast more than made up for these tiny inconveniences

Very narrow toilet space, and no work surface for a computer. Although the room had a lot of space, the electrical sockets were at the side of the bed and the small movable table could be located only at the foot of the bed to be near enough to the sockets. With no chair in the room, the only option was to sit on the bed. One of the strong points for the IBIS brand has always been, for me, a desk space for evening work.

I was welcomed warmly despite late arrival from the train. The hotel has a vibrant modern aesthetic, whilst being surprisingly peaceful The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. There was a lot of choice for breakfast and great views over the River Adour. There was wifi, a special room for working, and tea and coffee on demand in the breakfast room. Breakfast was available from 6am, which is impressive and unusual.

The room was very hot, so I had to turn my radiator off and open the window, letting street noise in. There was no tea or coffee in the room, and the drinks in the breakfast room/cafe were only available until 10pm.

Loved the location so close to the train station, city centre, cafes and restaurants. A clean and comfortable room with a great street view. Staff were very helpful and professional, especially the young man on the front desk who spoke excellent English. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend.

We had a lovely room with a view overlooking the Nive. It was very quiet and cleaned every day. No kettle in room but one with tea easily accessible downstairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, made you feel at home. Breakfast was very good. Good location for train station and town.

They advertise that snacks / small meals are available but only have one staff person working in the afternoon/ evening on a Saturday which meant with people checking in there was no capacity for the staff member to cook.

The hotel worked very well for us staying in Bayonne for one night before travelling onwards. The location is very close to the railway station which is what we wanted. At the same time it was a short walk across the river to the old town which was worth a visit.

A modern and well kept hotel in a prime position right beside the main bridge. I had a room with a superb view of the river and the staff were very helpful providing storage for my bike. Breakfast was excellent.

some areas could do with a refresh…. plastic covers on the mattress under the sheet - aaaargh!! I thought the room rate was on the high side for the quality of room.

This is an excellent hotel. Great value. Central location. Close to the train station. Beside the river. Good breakfast and lovely welcoming staff.
