the location is amazing, just next to the water mirror, lots of good cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, the staff was really helpful and welcoming, the single room is not the biggest but it was comfortable and clean and perfect for a short stay to spend the night and rest for a bit during the day

the walls are quite thin, you can hear a lot of noise from the hallway (like other guests opening the doors and walking around) so it might be a bit of an inconvenience when you're a light sleeper, the shower curtain was a bit annoying as it kept clinging to you when it was wet so it was a big of a struggle to take a shower

Location right in city centre.clean and beds v comfortable loved the bath ...didn't eat breakfast as not up too early ...staff friendly.good for 2 star hotel .

Maybe not having a kettle in room..r cups but I suppose its a,small thing .I like my tea ..and no English channels on telly but same in other countries ..like an English channel for news at nighttime

The location just behind the Place de La Bourse is perfect. If you arrive by train, take a tram line C or D and you are a short step away. There is also a carpark opposite, not linked to the hotel. The room is small, as is therefore the bed but tidy and clean. The breakfast was fine, the Nespresso is excellent. The staff were good and speak English. The two rooms at the front on the first floor (English first I.e. one up from Ground) have a little balcony with a view to the Place de Borse.

The bottle-bank (bottle recycling point) is right outside and emptied in the small hours. If you shut the windows it won’t be as bad but my wife insists on fresh air, so expect to wake with a jolt if you do that. Noise of late-night revellers is a fact of like at the weekend in a big city, nit the hotel’s fault,but be aware.

We only stayed here for one night as we were heading to Toulouse the next day, however the location, the room and the welcome were perfect. We were hoping to stay here in the summer when we visit Bordeaux but it's fully booked. It's not far from the Bourse tram stop, just a short walk, and the room was clean and welcoming. The hotel also has a chateau and vineyard, and there was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room (which was delicious!). We know Bordeaux very well, and this place is just away from the noise and hussle. Whenever we're back in Bordeaux, this will be the first place I look at for availability.

The location in the center of the old town where everything can be reached in few minutes walking. The Tram is just front of the door and enable you to go everywhere in the whole city, including the airport for just 1.80 euros. The room in the back of the hotel was very quiet, no noise at all. Perfect climat as well, heating and cooling easily to be controlled. The staff very friendly and always available.

Having visited Bordeaux before, the location of the hotel was perfect for us. Close to Sainte-Catherine, restaurants, bars, cathedrals and the river. The gentleman on reception, was very helpful, discrete and available at all hours. We enjoyed the breakfast too, the selection was good. Personally for me the bed was a little on the firm side, but that is personal choice.

The bathroom could have done with a touch up, it looked very tired. The spare pillows in the cupboard did not look to be in the best state for me. I wouldn't use them.

Location was perfect, and while it was right on the edge of the tourist area, my room faced an alley and was very quiet. The air conditioning was very good, and you could adjust it, which is essential in August.

As other guests have mentioned, the bathtub/shower floor was slippery and could result in a fall getting out. They should add some floor grips. Also, a small refrigerator in the room or a communal refrigerator would be great, since they give you a bottle of Rose that needs to be chilled.

This place exceeded our expectations and was a fantastic value. The location was perfect: it was right next to main sights in the city and a public transit stop, and it was close to so many great places to eat and drink. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was large and clean, we had a nice view, and we received a complimentary bottle of wine which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would happily stay here again.

We would have appreciated shampoo in the bathroom, or at least knowing that none would be provided (there was only body soap), but this is a very minor complaint.

The most outstanding feature of this hotel is the location. The room was small and bathroom is tiny but air conditioned and two large windows which you could open. High ceilings and great reading lights above the bed

No soundproofing in the ceiling. woken up by the guests staying above us at 2am who continued to party on in their room for ages until someone told them off.

Location is perfect, no bothers storing luggage and the staff were all nice.

The receptionist insists you do not check in early dosent even check if the room is ready 30 minutes prior to check in time. Not sound proof rooms got woken up by someone at 3pm just going into their room they wernt particularly loud but it woke me.
