The house is a 19th century building close to the centre and to the ferry departure, ideal at the start or end of your holiday. Christelle speaks good English and her warm enthusiastic personality gave us a welcome that was very sincere. She is artistic and funny with a wry sense of humour. The breakfast was excellent, good bread and a good choice of fruits and jams, but was also artistically arranged on the table! Her paintings are hung around the house. My wife loved the whole experience. I loved the practicalities of the place: free parking in the street, good facilities and tasty breakfast. Cherbourg has a good choice of restaurants and the Thursday market was great.

A warm and friendly welcome from Christelle into her lovey home. Our room was on the top floor and had a four poster bed, a sofa, TV, Wi-Fi and a great sized en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was in in the kitchen with other guests staying there too. Chance to talk and find out about other places to see and visit.

I love seagulls, but they don’t seem to sleep 😂 but I put my headphones in and listened to a podcast.

Chris, was a lovely host , so warm ,kind and informative . A very interesting person , spoke excellent English so very easy to communicate. The room was on the top floor , very clean and comfortable . Continental Breakfast was also included in the price which was wonderful value . It's location is great , very close to the centre close to many restaurants . Would definitely stay here again.

The owner of this small hotel is an extremely friendly and helpful lady. She checked us in quickly, gave advice on the free parking for our car, and entertained us with a pleasant conversation at the breakfest. The historical center of Cherbourg is well within walking distance. The value for the price of this place is unbeatable!

Christelle was very welcoming and happy to chat. The room was lovely and very comfortable and the bathroom enormous and all very clean. Situation was good with free on street parking a bonus. 5 minute walk to town centre and the bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good with more interesting talk with Christelle. Would definitely stay again if in Cherbourg.

The B&B is located close to the center with 5 to 10 minutes walks to the center. Our host was very nice and it was nice, talking to her and the other guests at breakfast. The room was clean and nice.

The house is old, so the door are all a bit aged and slightly hard to operate, especially the front door.

We were met at the agreed-upon time by our very friendly and charming host. Our room, at the top of the 19th c. building was light and airy. Spacious enough to accommodate a comfortable double bed and a sitting area with a sofa. We were given keys to the front door and our room. Continental breakfast was very good. The location was excellent. Residential, quiet street only 10 minute walk to the central basin and town square.

We were made to feel at home and welcome from the moment we arrived. Christelle couldn't have been more helpful. The location was well situated for everything you need, or want to do. Would certainly stay again when I need to.

Not really a dislike as we are okay with stairs, but for anyone who struggles the room was up two flights.

Great location close to town and port. Large room and bathroom. Easy parking. Very personable and interesting hostess. Great conversationalist on all sorts of subjects! Substantial breakfast included in the price.

Not really a “not like” but it would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room!

A beautiful old French town house with a lovely welcoming ambience. Christelle is a great host. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and at home. Would recommend this place
