The hotel was in the centre of the old port, which was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit compact. Bed, with the choice of pillows, was comfortable. Nepresso machine and 3 drinks included, which was a nice touch. The bathroom, was in a very narrow space, but a nice shower. We had a room with a balcony, a nice view, and if the weather had been good enough room to enjoy a drink and people watch. We used the nearby underground parking, 5 minutes walk away, which was very reasonable.

No dislikes with the hotel.

The staff were amazing ... so friendly helpful and very knowledgeable. They were all first class. In fact we have stayed in many hotels around the world and these staff are the best ! We had a fire alarm go off at 5am and everything was dealt with professionally and quickly. There was always a good selection of breakfast items and the rooms were extremely clean.

Only small downside was the bathroom lay out...as it was very narrow passed shower and no hooks for towels or dressing gown. This is a very small issue though.

This hotel has to be located at one of the best locations to stay in La Rochelle. It is located on the beautiful harbour and is so close to the Railway Station, Bus station and all the lovely shopping streets. Oh and did I mention that it is surrounded by lovely restaurants, cafes and bars where you can look out at the boats and watch the world go by. The hotel itself is beautiful, very helpful staff and very good choice for breakfast. View from room was great. Lovely powerful shower and ice cold air conditionikng was ideal with the temperatures in La Rochelle this week.

Location, large and comfortable bed, the attention of staff even before arriving and all the way during stay. Hotel personnel was very thoughtful, provided services and very useful guidance in terms of places to eat and visit. Although central, not much noise in the evening, overall quiet.

Room is small to manouver around and keep more than one large travel luggage. We knew about it from other reviews but given all the rest, took the chance. In our case it was fine and worthwhile given we used room to sleep mostly and bed more than compensated for the rest.

Chosen as a pet friendly hotel and right in the heart of the city, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its epic balcony view. We made sure we went for the harbour view as the river view wasn't great. The lady at the reception was very nice and made our dog feel welcome. We didnt go for the breakfast as was too near the city so wanted to explore. There are street parties below that go late into the night but they have done there best with a double door feature to dull the sound. Parking was 5 minutes away and cost me €5

Lift on ground floor didnt work but was ok from 1st floor up

Small boutique style hotel in probably the most perfect location in La Rochelle. Rooms are small, bit cozy and comfortable. Staff was always available and super friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered was very good, with fresh local produce from a small buffet and hot dishes being prepared on order.

The bathroom was a little small in our case, but each room has a different layout with different size bathrooms.

Friendly staff. Very accommodating, didn’t require us to only speak French. Hotel is in the heart of the city and harbor. We enjoyed the clean room, comfortable bed and the free non-alcoholic beverages in the minibar. The room was small but it had everything one needed. Like a coffee maker in the room

Smaller than expected. Price was a little on the high. But maybe that was only due to the festivals and public holiday.

A fabulous little gem of a hotel it was just as described, the bedroom was a little bijou but at the end of the day you only sleep there, a good bathroom with shower, the breakfast was good if a little on the expensive side, the staff were very polite and helpful, the location is very good a short walk to lots of bars and restaurants and the beach which was very clean, we overlooked the river and the church, all in all a great find for the price. I would definitely recommend it.

Room was adequate but somewhat on the small side, it would have been nice to be able to have two chairs, The bathroom was compact and the water pressure less than optimal, but overall very nice. Fabulous view and location, could not have been better. Bed was exceptionally good quality.

The refrigerator did not get cold. We requested a linen change mid-stay but the housekeeper presumably missed that.

Location excellent within easy walking distance of all amenities and fantastic view from balcony. Double glazing so when balcony door closed no street noise. All staff extremely helpful and friendly and all spoke good English .Hotel very guite at night with nothing to disturb a good nights sleep .

No wardrobe to hang clothes. Room n bathroom a bit small but we were aware of this as per advert .
