Modern hotel, all staff friendly and helpful, buffet dinner a little pricey. Breakfast good, Frankfurters rubbery, but we were last in. Room minimalist, comfy bed. Close to Romarin metro stop and Le Bistro du Romarin who do excellent light lunch.

Shower a bit feeble

This is a modern hotel, not exactly central but only 15 minutes from the Eurostar terminal or the old town. There is a small supermarket, a bar (in addition to the one in the hotel) and a tram stop close by. One thing in particular - not sure why more hotels don't do this - not just hot drinks in the room but disposable cups with lids so you can make a hot drink then set out on your travels.

Only French channels on the TV. The desk area was a bit small. A kettle but no coffee sachets in the room - not sure if these were just temporarily unavailable. It meant pulling on clothes so I could get a coffee from the breakfast bar downstairs!

- Breakfast!! :) There was a loooot of options, even varied during the days of our stay. - Staff was nice and really helpful. - For us the location was perfect: Lille city center is 10 min walk (even closer than Google maps shows), easy connection to Roubaix. - We could store our bikes

- It was oky, but overally cleanness could improve a bit. - Room equipment was very basic: e.g. no wardrobe, no shower courtain, etc.

A very pleasant stay, so glad we made this choice for our stay in Lille! The property is ~15 mins walk to the city center and ~10 mins to the railway station so it was just perfect for a weekend. I cannot start to express how lovely the staff is, they're super helpful and go beyond their duties to make sure you're a happy guest! Rich and varied breakfast, cleanliness, comfy beds and quiet rooms are just some of the pluses of our stay, if we're ever back to Lille we're totally booking this again!

I was nicely surprised with the breakfast, it was very good. The room was simple but comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful. Walking to the city center is about 15 minutes.

The room was clean in general, yes, I can not complain but I found some hair on the wall next to the hair dryer and also in the shower. That might sound like irrelevant but I really would have preferred not to have seen this.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean, safe, comfortable and a good property to stay at a sensible price. A great shower and usual facilities. Staff helpfully put my bike somewhere secure. I didn’t eat here, but it looked like there was a good selection of food and drink available.

Staff were great - but I felt they were perhaps overworked and needed an extra pair of hands - particularly when I don’t think I observed the hotel at a busy time. Felt like the people I came into contact with were serving customers food/ drink, checking visitors in and out, dealing with queries/ admin….too much for just one person on their own. A reasonable walk into town which wasn’t a problem for me, but don’t expect all attractions to be on the doorstep - that’s why the price is good,

This is an excellent budget hotel. The reception staff were cheerful and helpful. The room and hotel were clean and it had a secure car park at the rear. Location was about a twenty minute walk from the old town.

There were sufficient towels on our arrival but extra were supplied immediately.

The Hotel felt clean fresh and modern, it had excellent staff and was in a good location so we were able to walk into the city and visit the zoo etc. The kids also loved the table football in the foyer which was free to play which was a nice touch.

The parking was 13 euros per night which although wasn't extortionate could have been cheaper.

Price wise this was spot on. Good sized room with all the basics. Nice sized shower, etc. Beds were comfortable and the view from our room was really nice. Super yummy breakfast!

The staff could of been a little friendlier, but that might have simply been a language barrier. Parking in the parking lot was a bit confusing, but we figured it all out. Honestly, I don't have any real complaints.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby area was nice and my room was good sized, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Location was a bit of a walk from the train station and city center, which I knew when I booked and did not mind; there is a tram nearby that I did not check out as well as a bike share station that I did use.

All good.
