Hotel Saint Clair offers so many good features compared to the other hotels in Lourdes were giving. I am a frequent visitor of Lourdes, France and had the chance to stay in different hotels here. I love Hotel Saint Clair because of its spacious family room. We are 4 persons but the beds are for 5 persons. The bedsheets are clean, the view is very nice. The beds are comfortable. There is a balcon, the air is fresh and breezy. It is very quiet here except for the birds, you are very close to nature. There is a nice park in front with benches. The toilets are clean including the towels. The lobby is small but cute and homey-feels like home. The man in charge is kind and helpful. I love everything about Hotel Saint Clair. As to the location even if it is not very near the Sanctuaire, it is like 20 minutes leisure walk for us to get there. TIPS: From gare de Lourdes, take the taxi or the L5 bus and ask for the bus stop ALBA. From there a 5 minutes walk to the hotel. Next year, i will definitely be back. I finally found a hotel which is family-friendly!

The hotel is not a 5 or 4 star hotel but the quality of service by the staff is far better than most of the “4 or 5” star I had the opportunity to stay. The location is perfect with its own in premises free parking. It is just a 10 minute walk from the city center including The Sanctuary of Lourdes. Clean rooms, nice dining area, food is great and the service is always personal and welcoming. Now lets talk about breakfast, it is a classic French breakfast, simple yet fresh and delicious. If you are looking for pancakes, sausages, scramble eggs or bacon, well my friend, you came to the wrong place. This is France!!!! Before choosing this hotel I went through the reviews and all I found was people wining about how poor or small the breakfast was. I will suggest to all of you that don’t understand International cuisine get a book and educate yourself before posting idiotic comments. Over all this hotel is a perfect stay away from the crowded streets up into the City Center.

Personally, I didn’t find anything wrong with this property. Yes, it may need some touch ups here or there but believe me, the staff is working very hard and every day to address this small issues.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating during our stay and the room was recently renovated, spacious and clean. The location is perfect, with very close walking distance to the center, grotte, train station, and hikes to the Pic du Jer and Béout. The breakfast buffet was very complete and had everything that we could want to start the day. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The owner and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in quiet place and has beautiful mountain view.There is a lift.We were able to leave our luggage in the room until our departure on the last day

The breakfast is limited and no ham, cheese, eggs or anything hot. I have been to many hotels and for this price the choice is normally greater. The room was very hot due to unusual weather for October but no fans were provided.

Arnaud and family made us welcome and the room we were ln was newly renovated and bright. Half-board was good value, with drinks and wine at a reasonable price. The hotel is well located with a nice walk alongside the river to the town and St. Bernadette grotto and Church.

Nothing, St Clair is a excellent 2 ⭐⭐ hotel.

Very hospitable host. He accommodated us even though we were an hour before check in. He also made sure all the guests were comfortable. It faces the beautiful Mountainside and the the flowing river. There is no noise except from a few passing vehicles.We will definitely visit again and recommend this Hôtel.

Can hear noise from adjoining room. But not too disturbing.

I cannot say enough about how welcoming and kind this Family were. We were traveling with work and they help us with security issues. Nothing was too much trouble. Do upgrade your room or ask for one with a balcony it is a tiny amount more and worth it. The location was great just on the edge of Lourdes town centre. We will visit again to ski as access is from Lourdes and definitely if we work on Your de France in Lourdes again.

Clean, neat and well decorated hotel. Room reasonable size. Toilet and shower worked well. Walking distance from town but away from the most busy walking streets. Our room was ideal as it had a great view of the river and the mountains. Check out was professionally done. Free off street secure parking was available.

Road traffic noise in the late evening was a bit of a problem. Guests got up very early 0600 to go to work or go on a pilgrimage.

breakfast continental all fresh. when we requested gluten free we got it. hotel owner friendly and helpful. owner arranged a taxi to take us to airport no problem. you could have tea or coffee when ever you wanted. lovely garden at back to sit out bus stop close to hotel to go into town

you could hear the people sleeping in room overhead moving about but that cannot be helped I suppose.

Continental breakfast was good, and although location was a little far from the Sanctuary, it was a pleasant walk and the weather was kind

It was quite hot and there was no air conditioning or fans. A kettle with tea/coffee:milk would have been nice
