Locatiion, very friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Cosy and lovely decor.

Room small and few amenities but it was fine because we only stayed 1 night and the comfort and friendly staff made up for it.

The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast; the number of selections and quality of the food both exceeded my expectations. The rooms were comfortable and clean, although a little bit on the small side; I travelled alone so the space was big enough for me, but were I traveling with another person it may have been a little cramped (but not overly so–for a short stay it would have been good). The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There are a number of restaurants and bars close by and several metro/tram stops are within a short walk.

My only complaint was the wifi would repeatedly cut out, which is a minor complaint.

We really enjoyed our stay, even it was only for a night! The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was lovely - very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and with a kettle and coffee machine - the complimentary bottle of water and chocolate was appreciated. There's a lovely seating area next to reception, and you can also buy a glass of wine or beer. The area around the hotel is lovely, some great restaurants and bars and within easy walking distance of Part-Dieu station. The breakfast was superb.... self-service patisserie, breads, cakes, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts etc. There was also a choice of cooked food like eggs, sausages and ham. You could even squeeze your own orange juice! Everything was really good quality and plentiful. We'd definitely recommend this hotel.

An easy walk from Part-Dieu station and in a quiet-ish neighbourhood. Beds were very comfortable (we had twins as we find most French doubles too small). Appreciated having a kettle in the room as it's not often the case in small French hotels. Staff were very pleasant and it was no problem to leave our luggage there for the morning after checking out. Breakfast was a very good selection and we were impressed with the cereals and teas being organic. Nothing here is on a large scale (if you want big rooms and a roomy lift it's not for you) but it is a town house in a big city, well converted and very characterful. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

When the hotel is busy, the breakfast room is too crowded. (In summer it must be better because there are also tables in the courtyard.) So don't expect to whizz in for a quick breakfast if you have an appointment! We were lucky but others were not. A little bit further from the old town than we had thought, but an interesting walk if you have good weather (we did).

Exceptionally helpful staff, air conditioning that really works (was essential in the middle of an August heatwave), very good breakfast, comfortable beds and good size rooms. Rooms on the top floor are smaller and the elevator only reaches one floor below, so make sure not to stay on the top floor if you have mobility issues. We chose the location because of a conference, and it really is a short bus or metro ride from almost everywhere in Lyon- but for tourist purposes, it's possibly not the best location.

An electrical outage in the middle of our stay was unfortunate but not the hotels fault. The cleanliness level could be a bit higher, especially in the breakfast area.

I was staying for a conference at the convention centre and the hotel was in a great location - just a short trip across the park. The hotel was really lovely with a bit of character. Quiet location, nice clean and comfortable rooms and I was grateful for the aircon which worked brilliantly as it was 38 C temperatures while I was there. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was fabulous. Lots of choice. Lots of cafes, restaurants and bars close by and there was a supermarket just a minute or so walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

I can't fault anything.

The hotel was small and very cozy. The staff of the hostel tel were so kind and welcoming down to the housekeeping staff. There were goodies laid out for the guest daily to snack on and snacks in the rooms and a fresh bottle of water every day. There was a new cê breakfast available each morning as well. The hotel was located close to several metro stops and we were able to travel throughout Lyon very easily.

The only thing is that I wished they would have had diet soft drinks available but that was a very minor thing.

Hotel is very nice and pretty. Our room was very small but comfy. Location is very good with nice restaurants nearby and close to metro and buses. Breakfast was rather tasty, especially pastry. Hotel staff was very nice and helpfull. There are few things to improvers but overall it was a pleasant stay.

There were a few things: - [breakfast] scrambled eggs was made from powder not from real eggs. At least it tasted like this. - [cleaning crew] cleaning ladies were very stubborn. I had a sign on my door, I repeted it a several times each day, but they still were comming into my room and asking if I want room service. After few days it became really annoying. I do not need cleaning and my towels to be changed every day. If there is a sign on the door they should respect that. - floors could be much cleaner. When I swept a water from the bathroom floor, the cloth was black (not kidding). Even after the day that room was cleaned. Definatelly someone need to do a better job in mopping the floors.

The staff at this slightly quirky little hotel are friendly and helpful. We were given recommendations for things to see and do and information about how to get around the city on the metro. The room was clean and well equipped with excellent air conditioning during a spell of very hot weather. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. A great choice of fruits, cereal, yogurt, bread , pastries, cheese, cold meats, hot dishes …….. I could go on and on. One of the highlights of our holiday.

There was very little to dislike. The lift was very small but worked efficiently.

lovely hotel with cute architecture and elegant interior, very conveniently situated next to metro and the central train station; all employees I had contact with were lovely, helpful, there is no problem at all to communicate in English if foreign visitors prefer. the breakfast was tasty, fresh and with different French sweets and pastries, the rooms are larger than average, very comfortable beds and last but not least there is a lovely free snack and drink bar for arriving guests <3

nothing, best hotel in the Lyon area so far
