The location was good as it was near a metro stop and within walking distance to the Old Port, Le Panier area and other places of interest. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to recommend eating places and places of interest to go to especially Patrick. The room was clean and cozy albeit a bit small. The bed is comfortable.

The shower stall does not have a door or shower curtain so water splashes out on the floor outside the shower stall no matter how careful you shower. Furthermore, the floor outside the shower stall has no drainage hole so the floor is either perpetually wet or a lot of the towels are used up to mop up the water.

The cleanliness of our rooms was great. Beds were comfortable. We had a double room and a twin room. The twin room size was much larger than most hotels. The AC was very good which was needed as the temperatures were average 33 degrees during our stay. Staff were on hand should we need anything. Check in and check out was easy. Location was perfect for us. There was good WiFi connection. Plenty of eateries right next to the hotel with outdoor seating which open quite early in the morning. It is a short walk from the hotel to the port and there are plenty of transport links nearby. There is also a great shopping centre approx 7 minutes walk away.

There were only 2 issues during our stay. The shower in the twin room wet the bathroom floor when you used it and took a while to dry up before the next person went in. The double room only had mirrors on the inside of the bathroom. A mirror is needed in the actual bedroom too.

We stayed on the 5th floor for a 3 night weekend. The rooms was tight, but everything you need is there. We had balcony which was lovely. We found the room to be very quiet, which was great. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had everything and clean, towels fresh, there was a safe and mini bar also which was handy. We had breakfast one morning and it was lovely, very tasty. We didn't get a chance to swim in the pool, but it looked nice, small but nice for a treat and to relax.

Room was a little small, but to be honest we only slept there as we were out sightseeing all the time, so no real complaints. I would stay there again.

Very nice place near the attractions we were interested. Clean and cozy room with all the amenieties you would need. There is a small and nice pool in the basement and we enjoyed that for more than half an hour - it requires prior reservation and you can stay for 30 minutes if it's more than 8 people at a time.

The windows had poor sound isolation and the outside noise was easily heard. The room was a bit pricey for a small room and the money was blocked a week in advance from the credit card. Also when the room was paid they would not charge it from the blocked ammount but separately thus charging double for some time since the blocked ammount would not unlock the next day. I see this as a punishment for the customers / partners since lately the prices doubled... you make us pay almost four times just to be safe...

Excellent little hotel with good facilities and pretty. Good staff at reception, very helpful and kind. Very comfy bed and good aircon. Free wifi. They let me use the facilities to shower on my last day after check out!

The room was nicely decorated, very clean and cozy, nice sheets and has everything but very small in size. The curyains are single, dark layered whivh means either light or total darkess. They should add a thin layer particularly given the size of the room and the sun in marseille

The rooms were large, modern and clean, plus bed was fairly comfortable. The staff on reception were very helpful when approached and although a bit expensive the breakfast was adequate.

I had to book an extra night because of flight rescheduling and was a bit disappointed that I could not add it to my booking and instead had to make a separate booking for one night which was very expensive compared to my initial booking

The room was very nice and a good size. The location was convenient to public transport. The pool was a nice bonus

While public transport is convenient the location itself is perhaps not the nicest in Marseille - there is a good shopping centre very close by and a few bars. With that said it is only about 10 minutes in the tram to the old port and old town so it is manageable.

Location perfect for access to Old Port and just around corner from entrance to Cruise Terminus, v. important for our stay. Although we walked everywhere, we noticed it is close to all public transport modes. Reception staff exceptionally helpful.

Pillows!! Our only complaint! Both of us found them unusable and dumped them... lumpy and too high, and we're not picky pillow people!!

Location was not excellent, a few minutes walk to the main sites. Lovely pool - very welcome after a hot day. Nice staff and delicious white wine! Room comfortable and clean.

Bar didn’t serve wine on a Sunday evening, only wine up to a certain time. Not sure why. We were there during the riots so maybe they were affected in some way.

Very nice traditional hotel in a scruffy part of Marseille. Interesting arty ethnic area during the day. Dodgy at night. My room was clean and comfortable and quiet but small. Good tea making facility with proper cups. OK for 1 person but cramped for 2. No complaints though - I expected this. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were fine - sometimes a little dour but they were all polite and helpful.

Heavy blackout curtains were very good - except for some gaps at the edges which allowed street lights and sunshine in. No regular black tea in the room. Small details really.
