The pool was great and the main reason for us to choose this hotel. We were able to swim every day. Also breakfasts were great, plenty of choice, good quality and a calm and easy environment. The tram stop was conveniently close and the tram service was frequent and impressive for a quick transit to the Old Port.

Not being able to open windows was annoying and being at the mercy of air conditioning made the air feel dry and set us apart from the elements outside. The location was okay but further out from the centre than we had envisaged (though tram service very good)

The staff in this hotel is excellent.. super friendly, well done. The room cleanliness is good, however the amenities are not to a 4 star standard. Bodywash/shampoo and soap are all the same and of very poor quality. Bring your own products.. the location is great. The old port is a 20 minutes walk, but there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby.. especially in the old warehouse part, right outside the hotel. The sun terrace could be better maintained, furniture is worn, but it's still a plus !

Improve your bathroom amenities, hover your corridors more frequently and look after the terrace..

The Hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff within the Hotel were very attentive and very accommodating. They all had very good English and they couldn't do more for you. The Hotel Restaurant served lovely food all day long. Very good quality! And the breakfast each morning deserves 10 stars. It had so much variety and a really great selection to choose from. I'd highly recommend anybody in Marseille to stay in this wonderful Hotel. It also has a great indoor swimming pool and a very good gym. Really good experience over all!

Good location not far from many places of interest. Plenty of great food outlets nearby.

The only niggly thing was the pre-authorisation on my credit card for deposit and deduction of first night stay. These amounts appeared in my account and my bank became very suspicious, warning me to be careful. I have never come across this problem before on my many stays at various hotels around the world. Very odd!

The cost of a deposit after we paying the full amount for 2 rooms in full before we even arrived on 1st may and then the payment held on card and using funds why so expensive 300 euros seriously. And then to add insult another hotel tax for 19.50 on leaving hotel. Not on to be honest.

The hotel is very well placed for us when we go to Marseille to visit the archives, so we shall continue to use it despite some negative comments to follow. The room was very spacious. Soundproofing seemed to be good. The bed was huge, which we appreciated.

Considering the price of a room, it was disappointing to have only paper cups in the room rather than china cups. The chair and stool were too low for the desk. Breakfast is horribly expensive, especially if you only eat a continental breakfast as we do. As a result we didn't have our breakfast at the hotel, but had our own in our room. There didn't seem to be an option to request for towels not to be changed every day. Not good for the planet.

Slightly further out than it sells from the middle of Marseille, but a beautiful walk into town and bars and restaurants are plentiful in the local area. Slightly expensive for what a normal room would give you, but not surprising as in the city and during the RWC prices have gone up.

Excellent hotel! From the ground floor till the room's floor. It is well maintained and very clean! I immediately felt happy and comfortable as soon as I walked in my room. We had a discount for the parking underground the hotel. Really easy access to the parking (except night time).

I would like it more if the staff was a little friendly. Maybe it's the policy of the hotel to keep a neutral and formal character. Went to the floor with the swimming pool to enjoy the sunset but the swimming pool is at the second floor and you have not a nice view from there. It could be a bit better looking and ideally at the rooftop.

We liked that the room was large, light with far but lovely sea view, comfortable beds. We enjoyed the breakfast included fresh juices and eggs. The staff was extraordinary-- at reception check-in, and out, bar and breakfast. We liked the light and cheerful lobby. The hotel is neither on the port nor in the city center, I was worried the hotel was too far out but but it is definitely close enough. It is fun to walk through the docks and/or catch the tram. There is subway and relatively short taxi ride. We thought the value for money was great.

Make sure enough tea for two in room. I really can't think of anything else.

We would like to thank all of the Staff for their friendliness and helpfulness with any problem that we had. We do not know all of their names. The only names we know are Raouf and Karim so we would like to thank them in particular, along with all of the other Staff. The room was really clean with a huge bed which was great!

The pool was out of action for most of our stay which meant that we could only use it on our last day which was a shame as the pool was one of the reasons why I booked this particular hotel. However we were compensated for this by the Manager with a free breakfast which was good. The hotel was also quite a distance away from the centre which was a bit of a pain sometimes.
