The hotel is very well placed for us when we go to Marseille to visit the archives, so we shall continue to use it despite some negative comments to follow. The room was very spacious. Soundproofing seemed to be good. The bed was huge, which we appreciated.

Considering the price of a room, it was disappointing to have only paper cups in the room rather than china cups. The chair and stool were too low for the desk. Breakfast is horribly expensive, especially if you only eat a continental breakfast as we do. As a result we didn't have our breakfast at the hotel, but had our own in our room. There didn't seem to be an option to request for towels not to be changed every day. Not good for the planet.

Slightly further out than it sells from the middle of Marseille, but a beautiful walk into town and bars and restaurants are plentiful in the local area. Slightly expensive for what a normal room would give you, but not surprising as in the city and during the RWC prices have gone up.

Excellent hotel! From the ground floor till the room's floor. It is well maintained and very clean! I immediately felt happy and comfortable as soon as I walked in my room. We had a discount for the parking underground the hotel. Really easy access to the parking (except night time).

I would like it more if the staff was a little friendly. Maybe it's the policy of the hotel to keep a neutral and formal character. Went to the floor with the swimming pool to enjoy the sunset but the swimming pool is at the second floor and you have not a nice view from there. It could be a bit better looking and ideally at the rooftop.

We would like to thank all of the Staff for their friendliness and helpfulness with any problem that we had. We do not know all of their names. The only names we know are Raouf and Karim so we would like to thank them in particular, along with all of the other Staff. The room was really clean with a huge bed which was great!

The pool was out of action for most of our stay which meant that we could only use it on our last day which was a shame as the pool was one of the reasons why I booked this particular hotel. However we were compensated for this by the Manager with a free breakfast which was good. The hotel was also quite a distance away from the centre which was a bit of a pain sometimes.

We liked that the room was large, light with far but lovely sea view, comfortable beds. We enjoyed the breakfast included fresh juices and eggs. The staff was extraordinary-- at reception check-in, and out, bar and breakfast. We liked the light and cheerful lobby. The hotel is neither on the port nor in the city center, I was worried the hotel was too far out but but it is definitely close enough. It is fun to walk through the docks and/or catch the tram. There is subway and relatively short taxi ride. We thought the value for money was great.

Make sure enough tea for two in room. I really can't think of anything else.

Good breakfast, location close to train bus, tram, scooters and bikes, comfortable bed, nice view and good restaurants around.

No hot water in taps or shower on first night and following day. Another small thing but not a deal breaker. No proper coffee and tea cups in the room but paper cups thar kept leaking also not enough milk and only green tea.

Nice view over the ferry port and the sea, but a lot of rooms don't have the nice view ; we had a superior room. Cool room, although regulating the air conditioning wasn't easy. Very well placed for us because we were in Marseille for the archives, about 300 yards away. Good underground parking available at a price.

We have stayed here before and wanted to use the fridge in the bedroom. It was not cooling anything, and despite informating staff on our second day it still didn't work when we left. The stool to sit at the desk is far too low, and there wasn't a second chair in the room. The dinner menu at the restaurant was very limited, though the food was very good. Breakfast is rather pricey when you only have continental breakfast.

The Hotel is very new, modernly furnished and our room had a very pleasant view on the sea (see picture). The room was very well furnished, featured by a large and comfortable bed, a big TV screen with smart TV options, a properly sized safe and a fridge. In the lobby many types of free consumables for the bathroom (soap, different shampoos, hair conditioners etc.) could be collected. Notwithstanding a highly traficated street in front of the hotel, rooms are extremely silent. The position is not immediately close to the City Center but it's right in front of a huge commercial mall that offers any kind of shop, restaurant and other facilities. Close to the hotel it's available a parking that applies special fares to the guests of Golden Tulip (we paid 50€ for 3 days). Good wi-fi inside the room although not sufficient to connect the mobile to the TV screen.

The Air Conditioning/Heating system cannot be set (heating was still off) and cannot even be completely switched off. a fan remains always active and actually creates a permanent cold air leakage in the room. The TV has only 3 Italian channels (a fourth one is not working) and despite it's supposed to allow mirroring of the mobile phone or PC, practically the wi-fi connection between phone and TV is too slow and does not permit a real mirroring. The Breakfast is too expensive (19 €/person). The windows in the room are locked and cannot be opened

All was exceptional during our stay. The staff was very kind and helpful all the time. The room was exceptional and super clean. The location of the Hotel is more than perfect. Across the street was 2 Big shopping centers. And it is a walking distance for the Old Port.

All was exceptional there was nothing we didn't like about our stay in the Golden Tulip Euromed

Excellent location. Easy to get everywhere. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room and bathroom. I also chose to have breakfast and it was a good selection.

There was no chair in the bedroom, just a type of pouffe at the desk. I was trying to work at the desk and it wouldn’t have been comfortable for long. My room overlooked a street with bars and restaurants and wasn’t soundproofed. One of the restaurants had live music in the early evening. It wasn’t a problem at all as it was early but if any of the establishments had late night music it would be a problem!
