The property was in a good location- little supermarket literally over the road was very handy for grabbing items for breakfast and very close to cafes and metro. The metro being so close was particularly useful to get us to all of the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and obliging

At times we could hear other guests coming back late to the hotel and being very noisy- not the hotels fault! Our shower operated with a push button so around every 10 seconds I needed to keep pressing the button. This took me longer to shower (although not a major problem )

The location was great. You have everything in walk distance.

I would like to have a chair in the room and I missed a small light near my bed or a switch to turn on the light beside the bed. However it’s not such a deal! If my visit was at the middle of summer I would like to have a refrigerator inside the room, but for middle September it wasn’t so necessary! It was a basic room with the necessary facilities. For sbd like us who used it just for a dream was very good. Breakfast served at the cafe beside the hotel and it was the same but enough and good (croissant, baquet, butter, Jim, fresh juice and coffee). Stuff was friendly and helpful. Subway station hub of metro (Republica) was at 5’ walking distance. Also, republica square has many restaurants, bistro, supermarket and its full of people most of the time. Value of money and good stay.

Really good location close to Place de la République. Small, cosy hôtel, friendly and service minded staff, small but good room with fun, bright pop art decorations, each room has it’s own theme. A small but newer, functional bathroom in good condition. GOOD beds, neither too hard nor too soft. Breakfast at next door bar, basic but not bad at all (baguette, croissant, hot beverage, orange juice, sometimes water), I had cheese as an additional purchase one morning, no problem. Any questions I asked the hôtel staff in the booking.com app was answered immediately, loads of good, not pricy restaurants nearby, close to République an Goncourt metro stations, equally close to the Marais quarter (starting at Pl. de la Rèp.). Soundproof windows. No air con - but please don’t expect that at this standard hotel. There was a fan sitting in the closet should we need it. I could not have wanted for at better experience with this location in Paris at this price. I am VERY pleased!

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The location of the hotel is great, only 2 minutes from the Place de la République metro station, with a mini market and a bakery just next to it. The staff was really nice and helpful and the bedroom and the bathroom were clean, new towels every day, enough hand soap and shampoo for the whole stay. The bed was big and comfortable and there was no noise during the night so we could get a good night sleep.

The only thing that was a bit annoying was the shower because you had to press the tap each 15 seconds to keep the water going, but other than that, everything was perfect.

Loved the location, the breakfast, and the fact that it was clean. Our goal was to sleep there only, not to “enjoy the rooms”, so it’s more than ok! Recommend it for anyone looking for a place to sleep at an affordable price.

We were disappointed with the decoration of our rooms. We were expecting it to be more like in the pictures that appear here. It’s a detail though.

the staff was nice and polite no complaints, the location was perfect almost the thing we did walking! very nice restaurants nearby they have blow drier and tv in the room and you can’t hear noise from other room this is good, the bed is comfortable

the clean isn’t the best when I arrived the lid of the toilet was dirty brown dirty I didn’t say nothing but I cleaned by myself, the corner of the hand towel was dirty as well and they didn’t have much attention in how to prepare the bed! so messy

Great location! Super close to 2 metro stations and right next to a cafe/restaurant that’s also really nice. Great bakeries in the region too! Room was cleaned up everyday by the hotel staff so that was nice too!

The shower doesn’t work very well - you have to push the tap every 30 seconds to get the water running and lack of electricity plugs (wish there were more of them). It’s a bit noisy too but the location compensates for it.

Great location! Near the bank of the St. Martin canal, reminiscent of Amsterdam) Two metro stations Concourt and Bastilie are a five-minute walk away. On the ground floor of the same cafe house there is a laundry) The interior of the hotel is peculiar, but interesting ) Great view from the window (in the photo of the room), in my opinion it looks very cozy in the rain)

Lighting in the room (nr.27) There were not enough additional lamps next to the beds, you had to turn on either the general light or sit in the dark if someone was already asleep. There were not enough sockets and the sockets themselves should be cleaned of dust. I didn't find any other flaws.

Despite staying in a first floor room with street view, above a café / bar it was actually quiet and we both slept really well. Beds are comfortable with clean bedding and towels. Decor is dated, but functional. There is not any air conditioning or “luxury” extras eg no tea/coffee facilities or common areas, but if you want a clean, basic place in a great location (an easy walk to Metro stop La République) then this is a perfect place for you. The shower worked well - really refreshing after a day walking around Paris. The staff are friendly and helpful and we were able to check out of our room and leave our luggage at reception for the day so that we could benefit from some more time to explore around Paris. We paid 67euros for one night for a twin room (room 11 - it actually had 3 beds and an ensuite shower / wc ). On first arrival it perhaps doesn’t create a “safe” / quiet impression, but in fact it was not at all dodgy. A quiet night was possible with windows closed and we would definitely use this place again if we have another one night stop over in Paris. Easy walk to The Seine, Louvre, Place de la République. Fabulous location for seeing the sights.

There were 2 electric sockets in our room, only one near one of the beds. A minor minus point.

Great location with a fantastic Brasserie only a few metres away. The road is busy, but on the top floor, it wasn't noisy at all - just the Parisian busy background noise to fall asleep to. Bed was super comfortable and the shower hot and stimulating. A great value hotel in a perfect location for the metro, shops & the beautiful canal St. Denis.
