Excellent location and great for walking around the 5th Arrondissement. Also it was a short bus ride to the Gar De Lyon train station. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. The bed was very comfortable in my experience for Europe..

There was nothing we didn’t like per se. However, be prepared for a small space, especially if you are using the hide-away bed for a kid (3 people total in our group, would not work with 4). Once open, there is not much space to move around. Additionally, the bathroom is a typically small space. They charge extra 14 euros for breakfast which we skipped, there is plenty of great options nearby. The problem was there is no coffee in the room. It would have been nice to have some complimentary coffee available for a weary traveler in the morning.

Near everything with good restaurants and attractions. Conveniently located for walking and taking public transportation. This is a 3 *** Hotel so don't expect perfection like a luxury hotel but good value and a place you feel safe and comfortable. That's all you need during your travel in Paris. Very close to le marais, Notre Dame, Jardin des plants cannot be missed. Grocery store a few steps away and all the nice shops to explore. I booked superior room and the space is good for 2 people. Will always stay here whenever travel to Paris. Amazing staff with attentive service. Merci .

My family and I had a wonderful stay at GHG. I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service, attention, and amenities. The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. The cleaning crew did a spectacular job. We did not have breakfast so I can't comment on that, but the open areas were kept well. I also appreciated their availability of storage space. As far as location, I think GHG is great value for the money. It's close enough to the core of Paris that you could simply walk to, say, Notre Dame, and has several transportation options in the vicinity (metro, bus station etc). The neighorhood is safe and quiet, and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes in the area. Special shoutout to the corner cafe downstairs, as they are not only excellently positioned, but also provide great breakfast and coffee. I recommend GHG to everyone who may be looking for a place to get good sleep after a day of exploring Paris.

The rooms were small, but not bad as such. You just feel the lack of extra space when there's two people sharing a room.

Good location in the Latin quarter, an easy walk to the Metro, the botanical gardens and my meeting location (near the Pantheon). Breakfast was fine and convenient, although there are cheaper breakfast options at several local cafes. Room was clean & air-conditioning worked well.

The room was small, okay for a single traveller for a couple of days, but would have been very cramped for a couple, in spite of the double bed. Talking to colleagues I think that was typical for the area though.

The room was small, so it was a bit difficult to enter, especially if you had luggage. The Internet was a bit slow The breakfast was smaller than I expected for the price of 14 euros

I liked the location, near the metro. Convenient to good cafes and supermarkets. Easy walk to Place Monge and Place Contrascarp, with shops and both normal and quirky cafes. Very helpful and effective staff, fine hospitality. I have stayed here before, and will again. The rooms have been updated since my last stay, comfortable bed, fine view, making this visit even better.

This is a tourist hotel with small rooms and no business facilities. As long as you condition expectations for such a traditional experience, you will be very happy with your stay. Plan to enjoy Paris; not to stay in the room.

The staff was really helpful and kind, super nice people! The room was great for us, and was made every day. The location is not central but it was very easy to go anywhere with quick and reachable public transportation. Regarding food, there are some hidden gems in the vicinity of the hotel. Overall a great experience.

It would be better to have real coffee cups instead of paper cups in the room

Jean-Marc was such a wonderful host. All of the staff were friendly and helpful offering outstanding recommendations for meals and helping us use public transportation. We were also warned about areas of town to avoid during the strikes. The location was fantastic with many wonderful restaurants within walking distance, a market, bakeries, and the metro.

Honestly, everything was great.
