The whole atmosphere of the hotel is unique and amazing. It's not just the styling but how well maintained it is. There isn't one scratch on the paint or furniture, the bathroom impeccably clean - and this isn't something a will say often. On top of everything, the staff is uber nice and professional and the hotel transports you into another world with its storytelling and vibe, which is enhanced by the Rum bar situated in the hotel's lobby. It's a well known place by Parisians. I also heard only good things about the hotel's restaurant across the street, but didn't have the opportunity to try it out. The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood away from the busy tourist area yet conveniently connected with several Bus and metro lines to the main attractions. There are many caffes and small restaurants nearby. It feels like a very safe part of Paris. I will revisit the hotel next time in Paris. It exceeded my expectations of a 4 star hotel in Paris.

Great location. Beautiful and elegant room. Bright and spacious bathroom. The breakfast hostess was exceedingly kind and cheerful as well as the brunette receptionist who checked us in and made an effort to arrange a taxi for us.

The blonde haired receptionist who was rude and unfriendly and insisted that a late check out was impossible - even though it was indicated as being completely possible (for an additional fee- which we were absolutely willing to pay) online.

Second time staying. Upgraded on arrival to a room with two petit balconies overlooking the city. Fabulous decor, amazing staff - the breakfast staff were particularly fab - having the pool and sauna to ourselves for an hour every morning was bliss. As picky Londoners, we couldn’t fault. A hidden gem in Paris

The staff were very friendly, we enjoyed the room and its beautiful design, the pool was very nice and i enjoyed a morning swim every day. My friend thought breakfast was quite good and overall the location and amenities of the hotel were perfect for our stay.

we were unfortunately unable to book a massage due to unavailability, however, we were fully refunded for our deposit.

Pool was bigger than expected. Shower in the room was great.

Lovely staff. Didn’t love the coffee from the machine. Room a little small (but understandable for Paris).

This was an excellent place to stay. The room was small by American standards, roomy by European standards. The bed was firm but nicely soft, the staff was helpful, the location close to bus and metro stations. The chocolates and bottled water with glasses were a nice touch. The room was exceptionally quiet, and having the Rue Mouffetard a short walk away for daily marketing/restaurants was lovely. I would definitely return if I go back to Paris.

I wouldn't say "didn't like", just be aware that the stairs are narrow and the elevator small, so huge suitcases would be a problem. I traveled with just backpacks, so it was not an issue for me.

We loved the decor of the hotel, simply stunning! We had breakfast there once during our stay and it was great, if it wasn’t for the local shops we would have had it more! Great location with underground stations, cafes, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend staying here.

The only negative we could share is if emailed (and conversed) with reception to arrange balloons to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and they never happened. We were not charged for these but a disappointment not to have them. It was the day before we left so no option to chase it up the day after to rectify.

I do love hotel Monte Cristo, because of the staff they are absolutely good specifically in breakfast area(Brian) his very helpful and friendly and good service.I was there for pleasure and business and enjoy the stay in the hotel...the chefs and rest of the staff or management send champagne 🍾🥂 in our room as a welcome very nice touch.

Just that when I booked our room it was to expensive for what it was after I booked the price drop. Basically to expensive for what it is as things not included but because of the staff that makes our stay good 👍 it was nice experience .

Loved the room, large closet, exceptional bathroom with beautiful terrazzo tiles and fantastic large rainshower. Loved the soundproof windows. Double bed was a bit small for my husband and I, wish it were a 180, felt like a 150. The breakfast was ok, but so many nice cafes nearby were easy. Would have preferred being able to soft boil eggs as opposed to scrambled in a steamtray. The pool was amazing, it was an unexpected luxury. Hotel’s restaurant was wonderful. Staff was great, helpful, delightful. We tecommend this place highly. Rue Mouffetard one block away, fantastic market street. Was able to get around easily on foot and bus to everything.

Wish the bed were larger and there was better lighting for reading in bed. The bedside lamp and bedside wall lights did not quite work as reading lights. Also, could not figure out how to turn on the a/c. The fan provided was rickety. Easy fixes for the hotel.

Wonderful decor, made to feel very much at home but very decadent. Room was comfortable, lovely huge bath, the small details like the chocolate. Swimming pool area was cosy, relaxing and loved the privacy. Everyone tries so hard to pamper you. Every part of the hotel is beautiful!Even bought the diffuser for home fragrance. Thank you all!

Swimming pool water was too cold. Breakfast could be a bit richer- fresh juice, low fat milk, more fruit .But don’t let this stop you coming.
