The location, overall ambiance of the hotel and the room cleanliness.

The location of this hotel was incredible — fun restaurants and bars around, 20 minute walk to the Seine, 5 minute walk to the closest metro stop. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

The WiFi in our room wasn’t working, and though I asked staff for help multiple times, it was never fixed. The bathrooms don’t have windows or a vent, so instead they had these little translucent panels that let air (as well as sound!) pass through into the main room; this was fine, and I completely understand the reasoning, but it limited psychological privacy in the bathroom.

Good location, approximately 15 minute walk from Eurostar. Metro is near by approximately 6 min. Lots of places to eat near by. Friendly staff.

Could do with kettle, tea/coffee in room so that guests could make a hot drink. Quite inconvenient going down to the reception to make a hot drink. Also, should notify guests in advance that there is a €100 deposit payment required at check in on your card in case you run up a tab for your room. This payment is cancelled when you check out but they do take the payment upfront.

Great location, modern room, well serviced. Breakfast was also decent.

The room was a bit too warm on the whole - the air con didn’t seem to work and I couldn’t adjust the temperature. A large radiator which is good if you’re cold but I couldn’t control it. Had to open the door/window in the end. Was in December. Distinct lack of cupboard/drawer space. There was one cupboard where you could only hang up some shirts, and this was right on top of the safe so any long coats wouldn’t have fitted. Had to keep rest of my clothes in my suitcase which was an annoyance.

Clean rooms; large comfy bed; little gym with four weight (shoulder, chest, upper back, abdominals) and three cardio machines (treadmill, bike and space walker) - all technogym. Not easy to find in Paris. (Weight machines would need some oil, though :) and the gym room is very small in size and not well ventilated) Nice clean bathroom. Free drinks in the room. Very fair price for Paris. We will definitely come back.

For Paris standards, where you can find tube stations everywhere, you are relatively far from a metro station (10min "Château d'eau" (line 4 and 5) is the closest, "Cadet" (line 7) = 12 min). If you are fine with walking, the location is great: Gare du Nord, Gare de l'est, Grands boulevards are all in walking distance (15 -17 min). Even Montmartre is not far (25min).

Room was very nice, roomy with a couch seating area as well as a very comfortable bed. Bathroom quite large, especially for a European hotel. Staff was amazing! So helpful...and when they found out there was a special occasion involved, went the extra mile to make it even more special. Breakfast really good, lots of hot and cold choices. Note that breakfast is an additional cost, we've noticed in our travels that this is becoming more common, and at Hotel Aida Opera it's well worth it. In a good location, close to restaurants and amenities. While it's slightly out of the Paris center, bus and metro are very close by if you aren't up for a modest walk (for instance, a comfortable stroll will get you to the Louvre in 20-25 minutes).

As far as the hotel is concerned - we liked everything.

The location was great; the staff was very friendly, helpful, patient, professional, and kind; the decor in the hotel and our room was very nice; breakfast was good; the hotel was very accommodating of Shabbat/religious restrictions; the room was clean enough to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Overall a very positive experience.

I believe the filter in our airconditioner in our room was quite dirty and needed to be cleaned or replaced, as my husband and I would start coughing when the AC was on. It was also a little bit pricier than I would have liked for a 3-star hotel, but that's just part of the Paris experience - unlikely to get better value anywhere else that is just as nice and central.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Reception and lobby area is very inviting. I paid 800EUR for 5 nights, and I think that might have still been on the pricier side for a three star hotel. Nonetheless, it was a lovely hotel. Room was quite clean, shower was perfect, bed was super comfy, and they cleaned my room every day. I got complimentary drinks in the room, mini fridge and a fridge. All round, really nice hotel and I would recommend this for anyone coming to stay in Paris :)

Heating and aircon is central so you can't change it.

Location was good, just 7 min from subway or you can get to the center just by legs. Breakfast was very tasty

The staff. When we arrived, there was woman, who spoke to us not politely. We had some problems with water in bathroom, we told that women every day, but she did not solve our problem. When we asked man, very kind, our problem was immediately solved.

Nice rooms with beautiful interior. It is close to a great boulangerie and the Grand Boulvard metro station is a 7 min walk probably. We could leave our suitcases in the baggage room before checkin and after checkout. The staff is kind and helpful. Lift to the rooms, chairs and tables, enough space compared to other hotels. The lobby is spacious and elegant.

The street below our window was very noisy with closed windows as well, waking us up early. We could hear our neighbours as well, the walls are quite thin. One part of our bathroom was really dusty above the heating.
