Hotel Inn Design Paris Place d’Italie (ex Timhotel)

Great location close to the Place d'Italie Metro station. Room was compact and very clean, as was the modern bathroom. Very comfortable beds and the room was surprisingly quiet considering its central location. Loads of great bistros and bars nearby and very good transport links to the major stations in Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport. The location was good as it's away from the tourist traps and close to attractions like the Jardin des Plantes and zoo, which was beautiful even in November.

Very clean and tidy with housemaid cleaning for new towels and rubbish cleaning everyday. Comfort bed and pillow with great size for twin bed Super closed to exit3 metro place d'Italie with many buses around. There was a big carrfour supermarket is located just 5min walk, cheap with full of stuffs to buy. Many restaurants were located near the hotel such as La Halte, crazy noodle. Pharmacies and Uniqlo were also located there. Bolt car from hotel to terminal 1 CDG airport cost only 34€. very convenient.

Room wall was too thin, i could hear every conversation from guests who were staying next to my room and it was disturbing my sleep at night. Sometimes i could smell the smoke/cigarettes to the room, this hotel should be 100% non smoking. The shower area should be closed space. This way of half wall closed made the bathroom super wet on the floor.

Everything was great, including nearby metro station to 3 lines (5,6,&7). The room has plenty of electrical outlets and one international. There was no need for an adaptor, unless someone needs more than one plugin. Booking has instructions on how to get to the hotel from airports. Didn't have to use taxi or Uber at all. Recommend downloading Paris Metro app.

The building sign says 'Hotel' and may be 'Design'. I'm not sure. Initially, I had difficulty finding the hotel. It would be beneficial if the hotel adds a photo of the hotel sign and building to its booking site to help locating it.

1. The location is definitely a huge pro. 2. The room was clean and the housekeepers kept it really clean and nice. 3. The shower gel deserves a special recognition - it was fantastic and the smell was awesome. 4. The food wasn’t included for us, but we bought breakfast once and remained very satisfied. 5. Staff was really helpful. 6. Coffee and teabags were renewed daily

1. I wish the floor was better vacuumed. 2. There was no fridge in the room which is a huge con. We needed it for a medicine and ended up throwing the medicine away as it had gone bad. Having it for food or drinks would have been actually really fair. 3. And one more thing :) what’s the situation with these plastic cups? They were really bad and didn’t keep the bottom dry for too long and I feel like it would have been easier and cheaper to have recluse cups instead. 4. There was no teaspoon spoon

Good location - metro station was very close, McDonald’s on the other side of the street for a late night snack, possible to come back from the city by foot, few places for breakfast and late hour farmacy nearby. Helpful staff. High bed and bathtub instead of a shower were also a nice surprise. Ironing board was provided free of charge.

Not that we were hoping otherwise because of the good price, but the bathroom felt like it needed some maintenence. The cleanliness wasn’t spotless, but it was okay. Roomservice comes once a day, but if you’re not ready to leave the room, they won’t come back. The hair blowdryer in the room was more damaging than helpful, so if you are planning to use one, I suggest you take your own.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Decor bit dated but very comfy beds and pillows! Very clean. Situated in a nice area, easily connected to all main tourist attractions by nearby metros and buses. We booked a double and a family room for six - the family room was actually two separate bedrooms located at the end of the corridor with a central entrance door. ( the family bedrooms not directly interconnecting however as behind a main central door for Rooms 504,505; each bedroom then has there own entrance door with keycard access). This extra bedroom space was an unexpected bonus! We all loved the breakfast, staff were so helpful and on our last day, even got more croissants for us as we got up late and the pastries were almost gone. Lovely buffet breakfasts ( scrambled eggs, rashers or sausages ( different days), breads, cold meat, cheese, yoghurts, orange or fruit juice, hot drinks, cereals, mini pancakes, selection of pastries, fruit).

Nothing- we had no complaints.

Well the really best thing of that hotel it s location. About fifty meters from a very central train station,with a lot of lines. You really can go everywhere from there,and usually with no transit. The personnel was exceptional, helpful and always smiling. I thing that we saw all of them and that is for all. We had the family room ,that was two connecting rooms ,very spacious and value for money. We really enjoyed everything and we definitely recommend the hotel.

The only thing that i have to suggest ,is that the breakfast should have some fresh fruits. Not that important but just a suggestion.

The hotel is at great location with safer vicinity. Less congested with people. It’s easily accessible with metro and buses. The hotel serves good breakfast with balance combination of nutrition which we don’t feel bored for long stay of 6 nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The lift is small and long wait is expected. The scan of card was often malfunctioned. Nevertheless, staircase is right next to the lift for faster access.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! You can add one star and become 4 star hotel right away! They fulfilled all my wishes and were so helpful. Especially the receptionist madame Samia is a jewel that management should appreciate very much as she is always smiling, helpful and very operative and knowledgeable, simply professional receptionist! The position of the hotel is ideal as you can get from there anywhere by metro, by bus - the bus stop is right in front of the hotel or other bus stops you can find all aroud the Place d´Italie. I always prefer the area not centrally located right in the area of "tourist traps", so Hotel Inn Design Paris is the right place for me. The breakfast maybe seems too "small", but once you get there you will find everything you need and of excellent quality that you can find in 4 stars hotels!

There is nothing to mention. All just perfect!

Staff were brilliant and our adjoining family rooms were spacious and perfectly clean. We even had a small balcony on which we enjoyed some late night French Beers. The area has had a lot of development since our previous stay 9 years ago, and there is now a brilliant shopping mall with a huge Carrefour just across the Place at Italie Deux.

The breakfast is plentiful in choice, however at busy times the staff are slow to replenish, so often, items are unavailable. A fridge in the room would be a nice have too. These are the only area of improvement.
