We stayed in December 2022. Up the hill is the Corvisart Metro, a book store, small grocer, a nice open air market, and Boulangerie L'Essential. Across the the street is a park. Downhill is Les Gobbelins Metro and grocery. The hotel has garden courtyard and an excellent restaurant. The owner, the staff, and housekeeping was good and friendly. Everything was clean. Wifi was strong. Other guests nice to visit with. Room setup: We were in room 11. It was up some stairs in a quiet hallway. To get to the room, enter from street, pass through reception, and walk out and across small garden courtyard. Our room had a private bathroom, windows, and TV. On the desk were the local historical journals on the 13th Arrondissement. The hotel has breakfast for 13E but we were always on the go so we opted for the neighborhood boulangeries. The hotel is near Metro lines 6 (Corvisart) and 7 (Les Gobbelins) lines. From CDG Airport take RER-B to Denfert-Rochereau Metro Station and transfer to the #6 towards Nation--get off at Corvisart. After a day, it was easy to blend in the quiet neighborhood and enjoy the Christmas offerings. Things nearby: The hotel has a restaurant which is outstanding. Up the hill is one boulangerie and Cafe Havana. Place d'Italie has mall, pubs, bistros, and shopping. Near Denfert-Rochereau is the Catcombs, a chocolatier, and other shopping. The #6 line takes you Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, and Eifel Tower. The #7 line to Pont Neuf, Notre Dame, The Louvre, and for us the Christmas Market by the Jardin des Tuileries.

The staff were extremely helpful and even organised a gluten free breakfast for me. When they heard that I was eating in the restaurant, they brought the gluten free bread to the restaurant so that I could order the meal I wanted and have the full restaurant experience. As a coffee enthusiast I enjoyed that there was always cappuccinos available no matter what time of day. As a solo traveller I felt safe in the hotel and area around, the staff took the time to give me advice about travelling in the area and kindly stored my bags for me after check out so that I could continue exploring before my late night flight.

The decor of the rooms is outdated but the room had everything I needed and was clean and tidy. There wasn’t an aircon in my room but they provided a desk fan which cooled down the room sufficiently.

This hotel is an old establishment, well renovated and maintained. It is attached to a Basque specialty restaurant with a similar long tradition, and the hotel too is furnished and decorated in Basque style (e.g. striped fabrics). My room was unusually large by Paris standards, and very comfortable, with windows opening onto the courtyard garden: this must be particularly nice in the summer months. The bathroom was roomy and comfortable too. The reception staff, the owner and the night staff are all very kind and very helpful. The location, on a (mostly) residential street across from a park, is pleasantly quiet, yet just 3-4 minutes' walking distance to busy thoroughfares with several bus and metro (M7, M6) lines, thus well and conveniently connected to the main railway stations,the historic centre, the universities, as well as both CdG and Orly airports.

The hotel is in a quiet, residential area of Paris. The room is comfortable, and there's free coffee in the lobby. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can get to a lot of places using the metros 6 and 7, each of which is about 5 minutes' walk.

The neighborhood doesn't offer quite as many services (bakeries, restaurants, etc.) as other neighborhoods in Paris I've stayed in. And while it was convenient to have for making sandwiches, etc., the kitchenette was not equipped for much cooking--and they charge an extra fee if you actually plan to use it!

The staff was very friendly and helpful considering we don't speak French. The lobby-breakfast area was comfortable and coffee-tea were always available. Two Metro stops were 1-2 blocks away. The adjacent park was nice. A small safe in the room was a nice feature to have.

The adjoining mattresses were zipped together and sloped toward middle but were firm. The bathroom sink drained very slowly which we mentioned to the staff.

Le Vert Galant is charming, quiet, calm and close enough to walk to the Jardin des Plantes or to stroll the shopping avenues of the 13th. The staff is warm and welcoming, extremely helpful and professional. I was disappointed that I could only stay here for one night. I will definitely return on future trips. It is a small family-built and run business and it has a different atmosphere (and personalized attention) than most hotels, which I really loved. Thank you, and I"ll see you next time!

It was such a pleasure to live in this beautiful hotel. Personal was very kind to us, we had lovely conversations with 'em. Our room was quiet and warm, always clean. I recomend to book a breakfast in hotel, everything is fresh and tasty, definitelly worth it's money. I definitely will choose this hotel in my future travel!

Beautiful place to stay for a short or longer trip. Rooms are equipped with a small kitchen for all your needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the English language. Sheets and towels are changed daily. Metro number 6 and 7 are close to get you wherever you need to go, as well as markets, shops and bakeries. Room is perfect for a couple and I highly recommend it. Village feeling in the midst of Paris. Lovely hotel with a garden on a quiet street next to a park. Metro lines 6 and 7 just around the corner. Lovely staff. Private parking to keep your car and stuff safe. Will come back next time.

The room we booked, with kitchen was already taken. However, the staff compensated us more than generously by offering us free breakfast instead.

Firstly the location was excellent near the metro and bus stop. Grocery stores a walk away from the hotel. The staff at the hotel were wonderful especially Fatiha with her honest smile . The room was ok for the price I have paid. The garden was lovely and well decorated.
