Perfect location in Paris, close to several Metro lines and buses, and within walking distance to the Louvre and Musee d’Orsay. Plenty of cafes and bars to chose from close to the hotel, and the cafe downstairs does an amazing espresso. Our room overlooked Notre dame which was an absolute highlight. Staff are helpful and friendly, rooms clean and have plenty of room. There is an elevator (large enough for one person and a suitcase) to access the upper floors, however there is only a flight of stairs from the street to reception. Highly recommend - we will stay here again when next in Paris.

Very quaint, older hotel in Paris. The rooms are clean but smallish and fairly typical of most European boutique hotels. We had a beautiful view of Notre Dame from our room window. The bathroom is modern and a little bigger than average with a nice sized shower. Bed was queen size and very comfortable. Breakfast is continental with fresh pastries, croissants, yogurt, juice, and a variety of coffee each morning for about 10 Euro per person. The staff were excellent, polite, and extremely gracious. They were very helpful and offered suggestions for transportation and places to see. Hotel location is Left Bank along the Seine River across the Petit Pont bridge from the front of Notre Dame Cathedral. RER trains and Metro stations are across the street and within a block. Numerous restaurants, brasseries, patisseries, boulangeries, and cafes all within very short (less than 1-2 blocks) walking distance. Close to walk to St.-Chappelle, Notre Dame, Ile de la Cite, and numerous other sites. Having the RER/metro stations nearby opens up the entire region for touring and sightseeing with minimal expense.

You must walk up a flight of stairs with your suitcases from street level to get to the hotel lobby. Tiny elevator can take 2 passengers or a couple suitcases and one passenger to the room level. Otherwise more stairs for the rest but again not unlike many hotels in Europe. A little pricey but seems to be inline with everything else in Paris nowadays. Great location but also with busy street traffic out front that can be noisy in the evening. The public hospital is on the other side of Notre Dame from the hotel and so ambulance sirens can be heard at times. We travel with a small sound machine that provides "white noise" in the room at night to block out a lot of these distractions and allows us to sleep more soundly which helped in this case.

It is in a very good location for walking to see many things or reaching them easily. The breakfast was very good and the service was friendly and attentive. The room was bright and provided a great view of Notre Dame

You can not call a tunnel with nothing at the bottom a courtyard view! There is no mention of the 2 flights (1 1/2) of stairs at the entrance. it was difficult for me with my knee problem with luggage. Not sure it would have made a difference but it would have been nice to know in advance

The hotel is situated in a superb location. Restraunts galore nearby with great night life. The view of Notre Dame is fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

A small bar fridge would be great to have in a room to keep drinks cold. There are a flight of stairs to climb to reach reception on the first floor. This may be a problem for anyone who is incapacitated. There is however a small lift to the rooms from reception.

carpet a bit dated; hard to go up two freight of stairs if you have suitcase, some assistance from hotel will be helpful for female traveller; it could be good if they serve some tea or coffee in their beautiful lounge after a long day from work in late afternoon

The room was excellent. Very large for one or two people. Decor was very pleasant and warm. The view is as spectacular as you can get. The bed was the best part of the room. Extremely comfortable and dismissed all my back problems. And I slept like a baby. The bathroom was very nice and beautifully decorated but I do prefer a standing shower. This was my second visit here and if I return to Paris I will choose it again.

This hotel is an old building so it has its limitations from when it was built. So that being said, the elevator is the smallest possible which will only fit one person or two depending on their sizes. However the stairs are right there and there are only four floors so walking is fine. The lounge lobby area is quite comfortable. The location is probably the best in all of Paris. Right in the middle and endless restaurants to choose from. So not much to dislike here.

Amazing view from the specified room as of their description. That was truly "priceless" . Plus, bathroom was sophisticated, plenty of water pressure, and temperature control. (I know how hard to equip the historical traditional building in Paris.) Lastly, amazing, "sampa" nice people is supporting my stay. If you a alone traveller, the quality of stay in the morning and night, so investment for the better view room pays off!!

Not a negative comments, just as suggestions for next clients: To access to the lift, you need climb steps from the street, and lift is tiny. So please make sure your luggage is better in "carry-on" size.

Hotel Le Notre Dame Saint Michel was amazing. The location was perfect and centrally located for all of the main sites in Paris and we were also able to get off the beaten path from here too. It was bustling being just across from Notre Dame but quiet in the hotel. The rooms were funky and cool. The staff was very accommodating and helpful to us. I'd definitely stay here again and can't wait to return. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel le Notre Dame again. We stayed at this hotel before the pandemic in 2018. We dreamed about returning to Paris during our lockdown in San Francisco. It was so nice to return again post Covid for 4 nights. We love Paris and have traveled there many times and stayed in various arrondisements. I believe the location of this hotel is quite excellent. Of course, it is in a historic building and the rooms are quite small. But the charm of the hotel and kindness of the hotel staff make it all worthwhile. And that corner room view of Notre Dame is extraordinary!

I wish they would include breakfast in the price of the room. I wish they had a hot water maker in the room so that we could make our own tea whenever we like. The shower had very little water pressure.

Location was perfect. Breakfast was simple but lovely.

Air con is not controllable individually and it wasn’t on despite it being very warm in October We got the room next to the kitchen/dining room- room 11. noisy breakfast set up caused limited privacy. Had to give in the room card when we went out. Bath shower with only a hand held is very European but awkward
