The location is optimal for visiting the main attractions of Paris. Rooms like this in Paris, small but cozy and nicely decorated, recently renovated. Delicious breakfasts, varied, delicious bread and additions. I definitely recommend the hotel and the Latin Quarter, especially if you want to spend less on food.

There is a glass shower cubicle but with no threshold on its floor, water will leak and wet the whole bathroom floor. The breakfast buffet contains several sorts but as the volume and scale of that service is very low most items run out constantly. It's kind of embarrassing to see 3 pieces of ham and 2 pieces of cheese and know that if I take what I want the person on the next table will be left without. The croissants are consistently of substandard quality (4 mornings)

There was a strong smell in hat was suffocating from strong overly perfume like products. My eyes watered & breathing was uncomfortable. After opening all the windows & asking please not to clean with these products, it happened again another night. It did not help that the fan did not work, so I changed rooms just for the night. Then with the new room the toilet ran all night. It was as hard to sleep. The last 2 days were better back in the first room. The bc staff tried their best. They were lovely & very gracious.

The location of the property was fantastic. it was very clean and had friendly and helpful staff.

The only drawback was that there is a alternative cabaret across the alley from the hotel. We didn’t hear any music which was a relief but we did hear the chatter of people below our room late into the night.

Fine central location near metro. Off main road so fairly quiet. Right next to several excellent restaurant districts. Polite and attentive staff.

Bathroom had some minor issues. Shower door was leaky due to lack of seal at bottom, easily solved with use of towel. Toilet paper had tendency to fall off holder due to "form over function" but could be worked around.

The hotel was in a fantastic position close to the metro and RER stations. Situated down a side street closed to traffic so was nice and quiet.

The room cleaning was poor. Staff didn’t restock toiletries or coffee and when requested was often still not done.

I was very impressed by this hotel! It was beautiful and modern while incorporating the historic elements of the building. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean and modern. I found it to be a great value, especially considering the location. It was just a few steps from several delicious restaurants and less than 5 minute walk to Notre Dame. The staff were very helpful and spoke great English. I will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Hôtel le Clos de Notre Dame. Our room was on the 1st floor (really the second floor if you are American :)) Like most Paris hotels, the room was very small, but the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was also small, but fully equipped with a rain shower and the heating grid found in many European hotels. It made it easy to wash a shirt while we stayed here. The location is in the 6th arr. - just a minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral or Shakespeare & Co bookstore. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. A little family-owned Italian restaurant next door that was very good. The breakfast they serve was great. Fresh croissants and crusty bread daily from one of the oldest bakeries in Paris, yogurt, fruit, meats and cheeses and cereals. The coffee machine had every option :) The hotel staff went above and beyond to answer questions and take care of any needs.

There is an elevator in the building, however, you still need to climb 6 steps from the lobby to reach the elevator. So, for those with mobility issues or lots of luggage, just be aware there are a few steps. The staff helped us take our bags up the stairs which was a big help.

Perfect position close to & walking distance to everything, our room was small but that is Paris! modern clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed

Breakfast was a bit hit & miss as the room is very small and can only accommodate a certain number - some mornings the tables had all been used and not relaid but quickly attended to by staff once we arrived
