My husband and I have been to Paris a few times now and this is probably one of the best (if not the best) hotel that we’ve stayed at in Paris. The 5th arrondissement location just a stone’s throw away from Boulevard St Michel is unbeatable and the room was super comfortable. We booked a triple room, which meant that there was enough room for both of us and our luggage. The bathroom was good size and the room was decorated and furnished beautifully. Unlike a lot of Paris hotels there’s a small lift and air-conditioning (you’ll appreciate this if you are staying in the summer months). We loved the continental breakfast – there was plenty of sliced ham and cheese and a selection of bread and pastries. There’s an egg boiler so you can cook eggs to your taste and granola, cornflakes, fruit, yoghurt, coffee and a selection of gourmet teas. The staff are constantly replenishing the breakfast supplies. This is highly recommended.

We loved this hotel so much! It was in a perfect location with everything you could possibly need just steps away.. The street was filled with shops and restaurants and so quaint. The hotel itself is an art deco beauty of a historical building, and our family room was roomy for European standards. The complimentary breakfast was our favorite part of our stay. We had a very lovely stay and would definitely return!

The elevator (lift) was extremely small - only two people or one person and one suitcase were allowed per ride. With four people and 4 big suitcases, it took a bit to get to our 4th floor room. But much better than no elevator at all!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the 5th arrondissement in Paris. Staff are very friendly and efficient. The rooms have been recently renovated with some flair.

The breakfast room is somewhat small and this limits the range of offerings but it is still of quite a high standard. Current renovations to the building next door will remedy this situation. The recently renovated bathrooms are beautiful and well designed except that the shower base is slippery. This is a hazard that must be addressed.

Very charming interior. Rooms and elevator are small, but the ambiance and charm of the rest of the hotel more than make up for it. The breakfast was delightful. The hotel is just a few blocks from the Seine River and Notre Dame cathedral - via the narrow, winding, cobbled alleyways of the Latin Quarter.

Great location right in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Able to walk to all the attractions in the area, and plenty of restaurants near by. Breakfast was very French, with fresh croissants. This is a lovely boutique hotel, which feels like a French home. Staff were helpful.

Rooms and bathrooms are small but tastefully decorated. My window looked out onto the roof next door. Neither bothered me as a solo traveller.

The Hotel Levant is a charming historic place on a bustling tourist street in the Latin Quarter. It is about a block from the river Seine and very near Notre Dame. The staff are great, the breakfast is quite good, and the price is reasonable. Much of the hotel is decorated with photos of the hotel itself in the past century or so, and with souvenirs and mementos from those decades. There's a lot to like. But you should know what you are getting into if you consider this hotel and make sure that it's what you want. First of all the hotel is old, and, like all old hotels that aren't grand big city places, it seems small and cramped. There is no airy lobby, but rather a cozy sitting room type lounge. The elevator barely holds a person and two suitcases. The breakfast room is kind of tight. It is a really delightful hotel, but it is not going to give you the open feeling that most modern hotels do. Bathroom in my room was great. AC was so good I had to set it at 23 in order for it not to be too cold. Bed was quite comfortable, other than the long roll type pillow that was difficult to remove if you didn't want to use it. Most of all, the staff could not have been nicer. I had to set up a phone using the hotel wi-fi and the staff let me leave my phone at the desk while it downloaded everything. They called me a taxi, called back to make sure it took credit cards, and constantly went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was quite good, with lots of breads and cakes, fruits, cereals, cold meat and cheese, and so on.

While I gave the location a 10, that is because I don't mind being on a busy street that is full of tourist cafes and restaurants and, well, full of tourists from about 1000h to about 2300h. If you do not like to be on a very busy street full of tourists, this is not the hotel for you. Although there is not really anything that can be done about it, I think the breakfast room is too small and crowded when more than about 10 people are in it.

Location was perfect - in the middle of the latin quarter and near the metro. The room for the four of us had four proper beds and was reasonably sized and breakfast was simple but tasty.

Location was great as it was in the center. Room was just right for a family of 3. The bathroom was bigger than what you would expect. Breakfast was exactly as we wanted. The pastries were always fresh.

This is a family run Hotel, with a very friendly hotel staff/owner. We are family of 3 staying at quadruple room, so the room spaciousness was not a problem to us. The room was situated on the attic floor. During hot summer day, sometimes its became hot even if we turn the AC to the maximum. As many old building in Paris, the elevator space is very small, it can only accomodate one person plus one large bag or only two adult without bag. The major plus point is its location on Latin quartier, a cozy neighborhood surrounded by many cafes. It is also not far from many historic monument and museum. The nearest train station is Saint-Michel Notre-Dame. From this station you can take direct RER B to CDG airport or RER C to Versailles palace. It is also a Metro stop line 4. The Metro stop Cluny La Sorbonne (line 10) is also nearby the hotel.

Expensive…

I stayed in this hotel 2 times. The photos do not do it justice. My room was very pretty, newly renovate and spotless clean. Location is Fantastic! if you travel first time in Paris and you arrive in Paris CDG, this is the right location for you. The direct train from Paris CDG stops at the corner of the hotel and other 2 lines at the corner station lead to most attractions of the city. Stuff was wonderful and helpful, especially a young lady at the reception, who managed to keep my princess room for me. Many thanks to everyone for professionalism! You deserve score 10 from me :)
