this hotel is a convenient solution if you're looking for a last minute budget option in Paris. If you have read the reviews, which you always should before booking a property, you really can't say you didn't know what to expect. Now is it a great hotel? No. But it was clean, the staff was friendly, the elevator worked when I was there, it's centrally located in a lively neighbourhood close to 2 different metro stations and it's surrounded by plenty of nice restaurants and bars.

Visually this place is the opposite of modern and stylish so if you care about that kind of stuff definitely do not stay here. The worst thing and reason why I would probably not stay here again is the tiny shower with the clingy shower curtain.

This review is based on price. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was recently renovated. It is not luxury but is clean and offers good value for money. We didn't have the breakfast but it looked good, and we would have it if we stayed there again. The older man at reception wasn't particularly friendly at check-in but the younger man later that evening and in the morning was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great and close to the 96 bus which is a handy bus to get to many of Paris' sights. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was too short.

I liked that our night guard (K.A.) was very kind, professional and attentive to all of our needs. The look of the hotel exceeded our expectations, especially the dining room looks really nice and modern.

I didn't like that the breakfast had only gem and butter and no cheese. But other than that, the breakfast was very good, it had 3 containers of gem, 4 slices of butter, 1 baguette, 1 croissant, 1 carafe of orange juice and 2 coffees of choice from an espresso machine for 2 people.

The location of the hotel is very central, close to metro stations, and a short ride away from major sights of the city. There are lots of amenities close by. The room and the bathroom were very clean.

Breakfast was a bit basic.

Room is adequate, you have a bathroom and it was always warm and we had warm water. Excellent location quiet, 20-30 minutes walk from Notre Dam and Louvre. Receptionist were really good.

Nice, clean, room. The front desk lady was friendly and spoke English. Good location. Pleasant neighborhood.

Sorta odd (to me) system where you have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave and pick it back up again when you get back, with a front door to the hotel that was also locked. The desk claimed to be 24/7 to facilitate this, but I had to wait outside the building at one point and be let in by a non-english speaking maid who couldn't really help me. The male desk clerk was a bit rude to deal with. Also an impractically small shower.

It was very clean, the bed was unexpectedly comfy, the double glazing to the street cut out outside noise and there was air con with a pretty good shower! Didn't have breakfast there (walked to the French B*stards nearby - recommend!) Close to several metro stops. All in all, good price for Paris and perfectly fine stay! I'd stay again.

The only tweaks I would make for improvement are 1. revamp the lift a bit, the walls of overheating tired carpet are a bit offputting 2. Inside noise through the doors can be a mite annoying if other travellers are a bit door-slam happy and 3. I love being able to make coffee in my room/have a fridge to store cool drinks - especially in this heat.

Despite a somewhat dowdy external appearance, once inside, the hotel in general and the room in particular were fine. The receptionist was friendly and recommended a place to eat nearby where the food was good and very reasonably priced.

It is a bit out of the way and the bus service nearby was not of the most frequent, I would recommend checking times if your journey has time constraints.

Clean double room with ensuite in a conveniently located hotel in the heart of Paris. Room is slightly small, but for the amount of time we were in there, this was not a problem! Great value for money if you are just looking for somewhere to get some sleep after a full day sight seeing in Paris. Reception always staffed which is always appreciated. Would stay again.

Bedding could have been a little comfier.

Great value - Paris is never cheap but this spot was comfortable and cozy with easy access to everything you a want, a perfect base for exploring Paris. Staff were kind and helpful, definitely recommend for Paris on a budget, such a good value
