Great location for getting on the metro. We used the Euro tunnel & the Gare du Nord is 7 mins walk away. . The little gym had some really cute equipment and space. didn't get around to using the sauna. It does feel like you are in the Grand Hotel Budapest. Crazy decor but all works. The bed was huge and comfy. Best thing was the hotels cafe opposite. Really lovely staff and delicious food. If you want dinner book. Most of Paris is tall buildings, but because you look over Gare du L'est you see sky.

Very little space for clothes. There was only a rail over the side board that held the coffee machine and kettle and safe.

Really handy for Gare du Nord. Great decor, vibrant fresh colours, the lobby has newspapers and books; very clean small room and handy lift. Great staff, all ready to help and we appreciated the 24h concierge. Fantastic breakfast, really a nice place! There is a gym and sauna but we were too busy to use them- definitely for next time! We missed out on the tea making provision together with the small fridge with mini bar though as they were stored in the wardrobe :-D.

Nothing- we were under the roof, with slanted walls, which made it a bit tricky to move around the bed.

A strategically located, very cute hotel that feels like stepping into another world. The maximalist interior design gives each of the hotel spaces an intimate, whimsical feel. The vintage sourced furniture and small thoughtful details elevated the experience and my mood. The staff were also friendly, accommodating and helpful. I didn't get to try the matching restaurant across the street which I heard is really good.

Although the hotel is very clean - the bathrooms, beds and shelves are spotless and there are fresh slippers for guests - there were some small signs of wear and tear however this adds to the character and other worldly charm of the structure. The area is strategic but not so safe at night - best to get dropped off/picked up outside the door.

The hotel looks recently renovated, and quite tastefully so. The rooms are comfortable, the wifi works, and some of the amenities provided were more than expected (slippers and robe - not something I often see in European hotels). The location was perfect for me, as I had a flight out of CDG the following morning, and the hotel is a short walk from Gare du Nord, from where you take the train to the airport. But otherwise the area near the two train stations is not the most pleasant in Paris.

The breakfast is pricey, but then there are plenty of places to eat around. I did not take the breakfast, so no comment on the value for money.

Very colourful and cheerful design of the room, in excellent condition. All possible amenities present (slippers, bathrobe, safe, coffee machine, fridge, air conditioning, toiletries, rainfall shower). Room was quiet despite busy train station next door. Very handy location near Gare du Nord and Gard de l'Est.

Relatively small room, but normal for Paris. Location can feel a bit unsafe on the side roads (train station area), but really isn't.

Such a charming hotel, beautifully decorated. Friendly staff, and great amenities! Fully stocked mini bar and snacks that await you in your room (at a high cost of course) located a short distance from gare du nord so can be convenient travelling into other parts of Paris.

They need to update their info books located in the rooms. It gives the option of breakfast served to your room, but when I requested the service, I was told quite bluntly no without explanation until I pointed out what it said in the info book, then was told it was out of date. The room needed a fresh lick of paint to really bring it up to standard, but I can overlook those details, but I know others may not.

Location was very convenient and the room was lovely - decorated very nicely and had little amenities that were nice touches. It was very hot in Paris during our trip and the room had air conditioning which was a bonus. The hotel also has a lift. We didn’t eat breakfast there but it smelled delicious.

The shower was extremely hot (scalding) and difficult to use. You could also hear a lot of noise from the street as it’s a busy area between the two train stations. We kept the windows shut to block out the noise.

Interesting hotel..we booked one night because the location was close to the train station for an early departure. Very classic old hotel. Rooms are extremely small but clean and charming. There is a coffee maker, mini fridge, and snacks for purchase.. Breakfast is worth doing there.

Neighborhood and especially the street around the hotel is creepy with lots of men just hanging out. We are seasoned travelers and live in a urban center in the US so we are not exaggerating this. It's ok if your taxi drops you at the door and picks you up. Day time is ok but u would be careful at night

The hotel was very comfortable, stylish and well located close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we had to leave early for our train, they even offered us a coffee to take with us, which was very thoughtful.

The hotel was a bit expensive when considering the small size of the rooms. However, this likely reflects its location close to two important rail termini and the time of year when we travelled. This did not detract significantly from our stay.
