- The hotel is very well located if you plan to take the metro or train a lot for your travels - The hotel has been magnificently renovated and the decor is very attractive - The included breakfast was great - The windows/walls are very well insulated, even though the hotel is located directly in front of the Gare du Nord station and there's a lot of noise 24 hours a day, so when the balcony door was closed, you couldn't hear a thing. - The hotel is very secure, there's always someone at reception, and if there isn't, the front doors are locked and you have to ring to get in - The mattress was comfortable - Towels were large and comfortable

- The sheets of the bed were really NOT comfortable, they were rough, almost like sandpaper - The neighborhood doesn't seem the safest in the evening/at night - The room is very small, but that's to be expected in Paris. - There's a lack of clothes storage in the room, especially if you're a couple traveling for a few days - Lighting is inadequate for applying make-up in front of mirrors At the time of our stay, the hotel had only been open for 1 month, so there were no services available (restaurants, spa, laundry, etc.)

Noise from the street

Location was fabulous - right near train. Staff were very helpful.

The bathroom walls are transparent glass which may be ok for some but not for a dad travelling with teenage daughter. No privacy while showering. We were able to switch rooms so at least had a toilet without the glass door, but still weird to have a shower with no proper walls.

I must admit that choosing Hotel Flanelles as our destination on Paris was a great choice. The staff was super super helpful and grateful, they helped us on every single little item. They were constantly available for us and even helped us roam in the city. We have met 3 different folks in reception (including one of the managers) and all 3 went above and beyond for us. On the last day we had a very late flight back home, the staff offered us to keep our luggage and even when we came to pick it up they offered us a room so we can relax and use the bathroom. This hotel has recently been opened and I really wish it would have more reviews and presence in the internet (i know soon it will have because of the great quality they offer). There's a lot to be said for this hotel, but also just so everyone is aware if they are visiting Paris for the first time, the location where the hotel is located at has the best connections to all of city parts. The hotel is right across the busiest station in Paris (Gare du Nord). Right in the neighborhood there's plenty of bakeries, restaurant, fast food chains, and also supermarkets and tobacco shops. I'M DEFINITELY COMING BACK TO THIS HOTEL WHEN IM BACK IN PARIS.

I loved the friendliness of the staff. Without exception they were welcoming and courteous. They made their guests feel special. I Liked the classy decor and Parisian chic and elegance. The staircase is amazing! The rooms are beautifully appointed - parquet flooring and stylish light fittings. There are luxurious extra touches like robes and coffee machines. My room had a balcony with seating - offering great views over Gare du Nord to Monmartre. My stay was so action packed that I didn't have a chance to use the bar or restaurant - but it looked like a lovely place. The location offers wonderful access to multiple metro lines and is especially convenient if you are taking an early Eurostar.

The quirks of an old building mean that, as well as added character, you get one or two less convenient features. The one lift is small (two people and their luggage) and slow. The alternative staircase, whilst beautiful, is dizzyingly steep. The rooms are small. Whilst this is perfectly fine for a day or two, it might become claustrophobic for a longer stay. The location, though convenient for transport, is not inherently attractive.

The hotel is new, really nice, close to the metro and has many nice bars and restaurants nearby. It was easy to get to anywhere because the metro lines there are great. We had a great time there. The people who work at the reception are also very nice. We would recommend this hotel!

There is no iron, slippers… etc what we needed during our stay and didn’t bring because it was listed but the hotel is still in building so I hope this is only temporary:) And a mini fridge would be a great thing to have in rooms

The hotel is well located, just in front of Gare du Nord. Line 4 is just seconds away from the station and you have the RER lines near too. The staff was super friendly! They rooms were comfortable and the shower was superb! I loved the hotel and I definitely recommend it. Some people say it could be dangerous at night, but I sometimes arrived like at 10 or 11 pm to the hotel and it was safe.

Everything was excellent! The only detail maybe is that the elevator would get stuck, but you just need to press the button again to make it work. They were fixing it though.

The location was fantasic. Opposite side of the street from Gare du Nord. They gave us the breakfast for free, because it has just recently opened so that was nice! Room was tidy and clean! The receptionist (male) was amazing. Helpful, polite and he made some jokes! Awesome!

The hotel is very new, so some parts weren't finished all the way (some workers ran around but that didn't bother us). The female receptionist was a bit lost sometimes because she just startet working there I guess? (sometimes she was a little confused about whether guests had already checked in or not). Our room was a bit small but the location and the modern interior made up for this bit!
