Excellent location, decent breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel is situated literally opposite the Louvre and has perfect access to the tube and naturally all surrounding attractions.

The room could be cleaner. Moreover, during our stay, the hotel was renovating the room next to ours and as a result the noise + sounds from room starting at 8am made our mornings a bit unpleasant. I believe they could have instructed workers to start working after 10am or something to allow people to rest.

The location was a hidden gem near popular sites but off a Main Street. It was small but when you are staying in this type of area you are really only sleeping at a place like this and proximity matters.

While I could smell freshly baked pastries at 5am, it also smelled like the courtyard outside was a place where people smoked. Or somewhere nearby I caught a scent of smoke but the property was so small it’s hard to control. Minor in the grand scheme but as someone whose sensitive, it was a bummer.

Location of the hotel is fantastic. Close to all the major attractions with a metro stop and train station very close.

Air conditioning didn't work very well, so we had to sleep with the window open. The hotel is on a quiet road which meant it was not too much of a problem.

Small but clean and quiet rooms. Worried reading the reviews, but our room was clean. Friendly staff, Reserved and very helpfull. You can store your bagage before check in or after check out free of charge. Stayed for 2 days. We had the room in the attic (no elevator to the top). It was sufficient for us. Location is perfect. Cafés and restaurants for lunch and breakfast are just 1min away. Louvre is just around the corner. Jardin du Tuleries is 2min from the hotel, Seine 3min. Perfect!

Paris room prices. Perfect for a short period. Room small and outdated. Our room (attic) had a roofwindow with no view. Our room didn't look at all like the pictures displayed by the hotel on booking.com. But it's Paris, you're never there!

Fantastic location very quiet street but minutes from Louvre and Les Halles. Room and bathroom definitely compact but the bathroom was immaculate and very clean throughout

Disappointed to find the advertised gym was closed. Over bath shower ran off mixer taps so the pressure wasn't brilliant but it was hot. Only tea options in room, no coffee or milk substitute

The location was amazing. Very near the metro and some lovely cafes on the doorstop too. For Paris, the room was a good size. Really appreciated the air conditioning. The hotel was quiet too, given that it was so near some iconic sites.

We coped okay with the shower/bath but can imagine an older person struggling to get in and out. One of our party a little sad not to have an option for English tea bags/milk cartons (a biscuit to nibble on) in the room alongside the other hot drink options. There was a little fridge so nothing to stop one buying their own milk and bringing their own tea bags if stopping for longer.

This was my second visit and I will definitely return. The location is perfect. one minute to the nearest metro and the Louvre - round the corner from the Big Bus office, easy walking distance to most of the main attractions and close to many cafés and restaurants across multiple price ranges. The decor is quirky, the rooms are not large but fine for weary travellers who only needed sleep and the beds were comfortable. The room was a little warm but the window opened so all was good. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a small fridge with a small convenience store just a few minutes away so we could keep juice and drinks chilled. The staff on reception were helpful - they happily store your suitcases if you arrive before your room is ready. Breakfast was in a lovely bright room with a good choice of items - amazing yogurt - and although small, there was never a problem getting a table immediately.

Nothing really. The lift is very small but it is a small property and we were glad to have a lift.

The staff is friendly and competent, creating a family atmosphere. Central hotel location, close to most tourist attractions, museums, entertainment venues, Opera Square, La Fayette Galleries, Louvre, Champs Elysees, etc. Metro at 20 m. Many cafes and restaurants with fair prices nearby. Very good breakfast, cleaning and changing towels daily. Small rooms like in Paris. We will always come back with pleasure.

If you're not squeamish, you can't find faults

Location, that's fantastic! There's so much to do around and very easy to get anywhere. Considering that, the value for money was great (although the room was not big and bathroom small and simple, it was clean and was cleaned every day). Also employees of hotel were nice and kind. Bed was good. Good choice for anyone who just needs clean place to sleep and take shower.

Wi-fi was poor (slow) and there was no glass for tea or drink (just paper version) and spoon to mix sugar or so. Bit louder in the night, but totally ok considering how busy location this is. Also not possible to ventilate on toilet.

The location was excellent - walking distance to the Seine and Louvre, right by the Jardin du Palais Royal. We arrived early and the hosts had ample space for our bags allowing us to drop our luggage and walk around a beautiful area while we waited for our room to be ready. Our stay was relaxing, we were able to play a game of cards in the lobby, it was easy to get around the city from there, the hotel manager was friendly and very helpful in arranging a car for the trip to the airport. I would stay there again.

I would have liked an invoice - either printed or by email but despite asking multiple times I never got one. For myself and my family members the rooms were a bit too warm so we turned the radiators down, but the hotel could save energy by lowering the temperature in the rooms
