A half wall in the shower/bath means it’s easy to get water on the floor. Also a handheld shower wand without a shower mount on the wall makes it awkward to bathe and leads to more water on the floor if you don’t have good aim.

The room was clean, well appointed. Things were carefully thought out despite the smaller space so nothing felt lacking. Everything in the minibar was complimentary. Reception was genuinely friendly and welcoming.

The room is very spacious, easily accessible, good lighting, nice decoration. The hotel is close to important metro stations, so mobility is easy and safe. Breakfast has an additional cost, we had it one day, and it has basic things and in general it was fine. We arrived at the hotel a couple of hours before our check-in, and they were very kind to receive our bags while they finished cleaning and preparing our room. Communication with the host and the hotel staff was easy and they even spoke Spanish, which helped us facilitate communication.

It is not close to the most important tourist spots, so using public transport will be a necessity. Communication prior to check-in is a bit complicated, since the messages sent to you by booking are in French. The room that we got had a glass door that led to a small patio, but it could not be left open since the patio was accessible to all the staff and you lose privacy. They could have more food options at breakfast.

The hotel was easy to find and a short walk to a couple of metro stations. We felt very welcome and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but perfect for a city break. The decor was modern and stylish. The minibar was topped up with bottles of water, apple juice and cola everyday and also Nespresso pods.

The location is great in terms of accessibility to great cafes like Holybelly and to get to Le Marais on foot and Canal St. Martin. I would say that it is on the fringes of areas that are a little edgy, but we didn’t feel worried at all in the road the hotel was on. If you’re used to cities then it isn’t a problem.

We've stayed several times when visiting Paris and I'd have to be convinced to stay somewhere else, The rooms are small, not unusual in a city, but it has everything you need. Decent shower, comfy bed, quiet room. The very tiny lift always makes me chuckle. It's about 20 minutes walk with a wheelie from Gare du Nord. Metro stations are easily accessed. I wasn't impressed by the coffee machine or all the weird jars of teas - I'm not sure why they've changed that but these are small niggles. The breakfast is good value but if you fancy a change of pace, one of the best places for breakfast in Paris is a couple of minutes walk away. This time we explored the Marais district, which is close by with some great restaurants and obviously did our normal walk down to Notre Dame and along the Seine. A very relaxing weekend.

This was the second time staying here and We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Noticed that this time the rooms needed some air fresheners. During the breakfast, I asked for a second glass (other than the one already on my table). The lady at the buffet did not speak English and I understood that she was telling me to use the one from my table. When I told her I’ve already used it she said “desole”, turned her back and went inside the kitchenette. This was the first time in both of our stays someone from hotel Taylor wasn’t kind. For the money I’m paying I would like to be able to ask for an extra glass and not be dismissed. So for the air freshener and the rude lady I give Taylor a 9 this time. I would definitely, definitely come back though!

The location of Hotel Taylor was exceptional. My friend and I could easily access the Hotel from the Airport via train/Metro. In addition to this, the Hotel was in walking distance to multiple restaurants, lively squares, shops and boutiques. The more touristy areas were accessible by Metro, but it was great to come back to "the neighborhood" after visiting some of these places. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. I also enjoyed the fashionable interior of the Hotel including the breakfast room - very chic yet comfortable as well. I highly recommend ordering breakfast when you arrive and are checking in - it was wonderful and a great way to start each day.

It is not a big deal, but the toilet in our room was located completely separate from the shower/sink room. This just took some getting used to. We still loved the Hotel and would definitely return.

The hotel is perfectly situated, within walking distance to historical sites, but also close to several metro stations and the train station paris est. We really enjoyed that there were many excellent, cosy, priceworthy french restaurants in the area (within less than 5 minutes walk). Our room was lovely, with a nice small balcony to the street and nice curtains. The room had a good layout with two wardrobes and I appreciated that they had both good soap, shampoo and conditioner. I would say that the only thing that reduces the overall rating was the breakfast buffet. It had everything you needed at a fairly low price with cereales, different yoghurts, bread, egg, cheeses, sausage etc. But everything felt like poor quality, the juices weren't fresh, the croissants felt like those that has been freezed, the bread was a bit stale. I personally would have preferred a smaller buffet but with higher quality. We ended up finding good brunch places in the area though and I would still recommend the hotel.

This was a really central hotel and so easy to get to from Gard du Nord. There are 3 metro lines close by so it was really convenient. The receptionist on the first night gave us suggestions on where to it which was an area we’d never have ventured on our own. The rooms were very nice although not all the same size - our friends had the same priced room but it was noticeably smaller (we were end of corridor so maybe that allowed a little extra space for our room). Beds were super comfy and it was so quiet in the morning which was lovely. The staff were super helpful in holding on to our bags on our check out day.

Would have been nice to have a small bar or an honesty bar to have a drink before going out. There are lovely comfy sofas tucked away in the small lobby area so could work there.

no netflix noisy roadworks area a bit dodgy, homeless people on the corner were there for six nights bedding was not changed bathroom shower not too good drainage inner doors of bathroom and toilet not too clean
