I loved this hotel! Excellent location, beautifully decorated and clean rooms, very helpful staff and the option to enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast with lots of choices. Close to shops, excellent restaurants and a Metro station. Fabulous for exploring Paris. Superb air-conditioning. Highly recommended - I hope to stay here again.

Only one criticism: on the final night the phone in my room rang just after midnight. I was asked if I knew anything about someone throwing rubbish from a hotel room into the street. I didn’t. The gentleman told me they would check the security cameras. I was unnerved by the experience and didn’t sleep well. Perhaps staff could communicate differently if such a circumstance occurs again.

Everything! We booked this hotel very last minute and honestly we loved this hotel so so much! The location was just right: very central, nearest metro (2 mins away) and right in front is one of the tastiest patisserie cafe. In terms of room, everything was very clean, beds were comfy and bathroom was stunning. Coming back to the hotel for a hot shower was lovely. Staff were so welcoming and helpful, and we were able to leave our back in a secure locker before checking in and after checking out. This hotel was beyond what we were expecting and we can’t wait to come back again.

This cute hotel is in a great location, near lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The staff was incredibly helpful and quite friendly. We had the breakfast one morning when we weren't sleeping in.... a wide variety of breads, cheeses, juice, coffee, eggs, nuts... a nice spread. I would definitely stay here again!

For our first trip to Paris we chose this nice and modern hotel. We stayed at Plat d'Etain for eight nights and we had a memorable holiday. The room was very clean and cozy, the air conditioning was perfect and we appreciated the coffee machine with free coffee pods. The TV has international channels, the wifi is fast and efficient and the bathroom is very functional and equipped with a beautiful mirror that lights up and a second extendable wall mirror. Our room had a delightful street view and the neighborhood is quiet, located near important points of the city, easy reachable by walking. Worthy of mention is the nearby boulangerie which makes divine croissants. The hotel staff is very professional, polite and thoughtful. Special thanks to Tarek, with whom we shared smiles and little kind gestures and who made us a big favor on our last day of the trip, showing us that a customer is not just a client but also someone with who you build a human connection. We will definitely return to Plat d'Etain, it is a place that has remained in our hearts. Sourires from Italy :)

The staff is amazing. They go above and beyond to ensure you're having a good stay and are very knowledgeable about the area and where to eat etc. Probably one of the best experiences I've had with front desk staff.

The location is not great, especially if you have young kids. The immediate area surrounding the hotel has a lot of questionable activities going on at all times of the day. Lots of sex workers lining one of the streets and a lot of illegal drug activity happening. There's a lot of store fronts/restaurants that seem to be closed so I suspect that has something to do with it. If you walk 5 minutes in certain directions the neighbourhood changes and seems fine, but directly around the hotel definitely wasn't great. I've stayed in a few different areas in Paris and this definitely wasn't one I'd return to.

The staff was an absolute 10! They are extremely welcoming and friendly and will do anything to make you feel at home. The room was very clean, and the furniture and bathroom were up-to-date and modern plus had AC. The room was small, but for Paris standards in this price range, it was nothing less than expected. The breakfast buffet was very good! The staff was super friendly and did not leave one crumb behind after guests left their table. The neighborhood, although looking shady down the street, was safe and had easy subway access within 2 minutes walking distance. Even when returning at night, we did not feel unsafe for one second while walking the streets. Grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and fast food restaurants, are all within walking distance.

A small fridge (mini-bar) came in handy but was extremely loud. So we had to unplug it during the night. (Not a big deal)

Very nice tidy hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and very clean. We've got a family room and bathroom had 2 sinks, which was comfortable. Convinient location just by a metro station with 3 lines that will get you almost anywhere. Location central enough, so you can get to many interesting places by foot. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and coffes all around. For shopping, besides all the street shops everywhere, there's a huge Westfield mall 15 minutes walk away, located above big metro and rail hub.

We were missing some electrical sockets, there wasn't one by each bed in a family room - 4 beds with only 2 sockets by the beds and another one under the TV, a bit less comfortable. So there was some competition to charge everyone's devices and for the beds with the sockets. There're more central locations, however prices go up very fast as you get there, so I don't think it's worth it and I couldn't find a lot of hotels with family rooms with 2 extra separate full beds - most have a convertible couch option, which is not very confortable for 2 grown kids to sleep in together.

The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, quiet & a perfect travel hub for traveling around via local public transportation (the Metro was steps away from the hotel). We found a rare 4-person room, something exceedingly rare in Paris. The bskery across the street (Bo&Mie) had fantastic fresh pasteries daily! The sushi restaurant was delicious (Fuugaya) and the owners were very kind and the food was amazing. Our stay was a wonderful one with no problems or issues!

The walk up to the 4th floor was a bit of a struggle, there is a small 4-person elevator, but it was very small. It was great for moving luggage up & down or for a quick easy way to get back to our room after a long day of moving around the city.

I deeply recommend this hotel to those who want a great hotel in a reasonable price in a great location. We had a great time in this hotel. first of all, I couldnt have asked for better staff. they knew english well and were kind and helpful. they helped with everything we asked- from addiotional soap to recommendations and taxi reservations. the room isn't too small and had a comfortable bed. everything was clean. the location is great. it is located 3 min from a merto that connects you easily to all of paris. you can also get to the center with just walking for 20 min. Near the hotel are a lot of bars and restaurant.

the bed was a bit short (maybe because I'm a bit tall) so my legs were outside the bed.

The staff was very kind and always trying to help. The location next to some bakeries, a metro station and in walking distance of some attractions was good. The room was very spacious including a big wardrobe, a smart TV and a free coffee and tea machine. In the bed there were a lot of pillows which is great.

The hair dryer was a hose that got very hot during usage. The second person had to wait before using it. Even tough there was a sign to put the towels on the floor to get them changed they got changed even if they weren't. To shower you have to get in the bath tub which is fine - but getting out is a bit dangerous because there's no handle. Also there was not a single power socket in the bathroom. The elevator is very old and small. We ended up rather using the stairs. The luggage storage is a room of which every guest knows the code.
