Very good location, clean hotel, nice view out of the window, daily cleaning. it was overall a pleasant experience. (It looks more than like a 2star hotel in my opinion)

Even though our room was cleaned everyday (not necessary in my opinion, but it was still nice), we found the room unlocked almost every day when we came back from visiting. Thank god nothing was stolen (we were on the 6th floor, there were cameras in the hallway and doors were heavy/a bit hard to open anyway), but it was still weird. First day we thought it was a mistake and let it slide, second day it happened again and the 3rd day in the morning we spoke to the person at the reception about this, he seemed to understand, but when we came back the door was unlocked again. Only on the 4th day we found it locked.

Great location and staff was very helpful.

Stayed in 2 different rooms, one had portable AC and the other only a fan.

friendly staff, you can leave your luggage before check in and after check-out. Very spacious room and bathoroom, great location, on walking distance to Sacre-Coeur...

Bad sound isolation.

We stayed in Hotel Victor Masse for 4 nights. We particularly loved the neighbourhood which had a great atmosphere with many nearby bars and restaurants and a lovely artisan bakery around the corner which was handy for breakfast/ picnic lunches. It was around 15 minute walk up to Montmatre and Sacré Cour and close to the Pigalle metro station though we actually walked everywhere - around 30 minutes stroll to the Louvre/ opera etc We were on 5th floor and had a small balcony which was pretty. It was very hot during our stay and the hotel had provided a large fan which was very much appreciated. The bathroom was very large. The staff were very helpful and recommended a couple of places to eat/ drink that we enjoyed.

There were no tea/ coffee facilities ( expected) but I had taken a travel kettle however two of my travel adapters ( used extensively in Europe) wouldn’t fit in the sockets. Fortunately we had one which fitted and we were able to make a morning/ evening cuppa. As we had the balcony doors open due to the heat it was a bit noisy in the mornings ( to be expected for Paris).

In a fantastic location, easy access to restaurants and tourist sites. Reasonably comfortable for a family of three, with a renovated bathroom. The walls shared with other rooms seemed soundproofed. We didn't mind the neighbourhood at all and felt perfectly safe, but some (perhaps those with children) might mind that there is evidence of Pigalle's reputation as a red-light district of Paris (sex shops, clubs etc.) when you walk around the main roads.

The bathroom could have had built-in ventilation, and a more solid door. There was little soundproofing between floors, so we could hear the people above us walking around and closing/opening their door. Beds were a bit hard.

The hotel is very well located, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is yummy. The room I stayed in is very comfortable and the bathroom is huge.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there was mold on the bathroom tiles and on the bathtub curtain. I didn’t want to touch the curtain during the shower, but I couldn’t get it out of the bathtub or the floor would get all wet. But this is something small in relation to the advantages of this hotel.

The receptionist noticed that i am pretty bad with French and was very helpful. I couldn't catch his name, but its the gentleman that works day times, thank you so much for making it so easy. I travel to Paris often but French is not a language i can manage. They also helped me with the luggage issue as i was travelling back and forth from Paris. thank you all very much. confy bed, clean rooms, fan inside the room when is too hot, wifi connection was active and available, and the description on booking.com matched my expectations. Thanks for the tips on pizza places nearby.

The room and the location were excellent. It was good to be able to leave our baggage with reception when we arrived and to leave it there again, after we had left our room and still had time in Paris before our train left.

It would be good to offer English Breakfast Tea (the noir) in sachets for your English guests. We were unable to find French News on the TV

The staff was nice, every day they were cleaning the rooms. The room was very small , but cozy and clean , for two people it’s okay. The location was great, near the hotel there are a lot of restaurants , the metro and bus station are close to the hotel.

Unfortunately, there was no kettle in the room, if you want to make a tea or coffee. The rooms are very close to each others , so it’s a little bit noisy , you can hear the people from the other rooms.

I was very pleased with my stay there. The room was a good size and had an ensuite bathroom and shower. The wifi wasn't my speed at home, but I could stream Netflix just fine. The staff were all very nice and helpful, and their English was better than my French. They let me leave my bag behind in secure storage until it was time to collect it and head to the station, which saved the morning for me.

I guess it could've been free? I thought that the Hotel Victor Massé was very good value for money, and I would gladly recommend it and book a stay there again.
