The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is so easy to get to this place with their direction as advertised. First impressions from arriving later than I advised them was not a challenge for them. I said it would be at 10pm and then arriving 2 hours later, was not a challenge as they are open 24 hours. The EuroStar got delayed. Hence, I was late arriving after midnight. Great service and advice from all the staff for a new visitor to their city. They made you welcome and greeted you and acknowledged you as I came in and out every day. The manager was good by always greeting you by your first name instead of hi, sir, hello, hey mate, he just made the effort of making you part of the their business family. The young manager and the young lady manageress were always very helpful. Both mangers and all their staff greeted you with a smile and acknowledgement, and they made you feel safe and weclomed in a new city. I noticed during my 9 days that they always helped other travellers, too, not just me but everyone that came into contact with Peace and Love. On my last day, my friend had not picked up a Paris backpack, a Paris drink bottle, that was a gift for them. So upon checkout in the morning, I left the Paris bag gift at reception for them to collect. My friend came and picked it up later on the same day in the afternoon. They even provided me sevice after I checked out. I would advise and recommend you to stay at this hostel as you would experience their warm hospitality and services.

There was nothing I did not like. 100% for all the cleaners, 100% for the front service staff. 100% for the young manager. 100% for the young manageress. Their wasn't anything I did not like or could fault. The young manager and young lady manageress were always helpful and full of advice. It was easy to book from Sydney, Australia. There was nothing I did not like in the reviews. They were all excellent, hence why I booked at Peace and Love I hope this review will help other travellers, too.

The place was cozy, the staff weren’t exactly friendly but not unfriendly either, they just want to get you booked in asap but were not rude. the housekeeper was very polite and friendly. For the price of a room in Paris this place was great, most places your looking at over €100, the bed was surprisingly comfy despite having a big dent in the mattress, I slept like a baby, nice little view from the window, overlooking part of a river, a good view of Paris’s beautiful buildings, bathroom was small but so are most rooms in Paris, value for money bathroom was great, soaps, nice hot water, only problem was no curtain on bathroom window. Overall if I was in pairs again I’d happily check in there again.

A lot of stairs, no bathroom curtain

the facilities were what you paid for, nothing too amazing but that wasn't an issue for me, was just looking for somewhere cheap

this isn't the hostel's fault, but the area did not feel the safest. I was travelling through Paris alone and didn't want to spend too much on one night. There is an underground station nearby which was super helpful but on the walk back later in the evening I did not feel the most safe. This isn't the hostel's fault at all, the staff were lovely, my room was fine and I felt safe when I was there but the location didn't feel the best as a young solo female traveller.

The location of the hostel is very good, there is a market around it, right across the metro, easy to reach, 10 stops away by metro to Eiffel, the room is clean, small but sufficient in my opinion, the locker locking feature is very nice, I left my belongings easily. There is a toilet and bathroom in the room, only those in the room use it. It's a little difficult to get into the bunk bed, but the price is performance.

The stairs are small and narrow so going up is very tiring. While getting off at the metro station and going to the hostel, homeless people sleep under the bridge, but it is still safe and there is no problem. There is no liquid soap in the room.

It's my third hostel in Paris and it's absolutely love. Yes, the stairs might be annoing if you live in 6-7 floors, but it's bearable. The bar at the first floor is not to crowded and it's nice to sit outside in the evening with a coffee. Oh and the coffee here is great also! My shower was inside the room, it's a small cabin in front the beds, I was surprise, but can't say I didnt like it. Overall it's a great place to live which costs lower then it could be. Grear area, easy to navigate, a good park ten steps away, great, no, the best bakery down the street. Oh and I should mention the kitchen, you can cook you meal and go sit in the cafe or outside and watch beatiful crowd enjoying you dinner.

I must write here something, so I probably can mention the bed sheets. It's not unclean, it's just old, I guess. You can see old stains, nothing disgastinge, just the sheets saw better days.

Nice. Staff seemed a good bunch, friendly, helpful. Ideal location for the north train station. Good focus on cleanliness. Not spacious - bunks three high lining both walls, not much luggage space, and the bathroom was about the size of an American fridge-freezer - but not uncomfortable

Only one negative experience; I was there on a Monday and mid- to late-afternoon wanted to use the fridge in the kitchen downstairs, finding it open I asked a group of the staff there if it was okay to start using, they all assented so I put my things in and closed it but returning several hours later found my cream-cheese stacked on the sideboard in a hot kitchen. I’ll share to denouement, I’m still eating it - but it could have been a disaster, if instead of guessing they’d said they didn’t know or made sure nobody took the new contents out fine but telling me something that turned-out not to be true was a bit tiresome. A trivial thing, and if that’s the worst I can say about the place I think it speaks well to what they’re doing. I’d still recommend the place for a budget stop

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I appreciated the kitchen and luggage storage. Great location, friendly guests, and pretty comfortable - certainly more comfortable than I had expected for the price and the fact that it's a hostel.

I couldn't find any coffee/tea mugs in the kitchen - but perhaps I missed them. The beds had limited headroom; I couldn't sit up in mine.

Great location. Several metro stations are nearby. I lived on the seventh floor from the window of which there was a beautiful view of the canal and you could even see the Eiffel Tower. Comfortable bed. There is a bar near the reception.

Narrow shower cabin and toilet due to the construction of the building, but not critical :)

The staff were amazing, like seriously soo kind, gave me all sorts of advice and geniuelly were probably the reason my trip became so good. The rooms made you feel at home. You get like a stunning view of the canal. And you trully feel like your in the heart of Paris.

Okay though the rooms, had a few issues, there was only a small shower, no toilet. And the beds kinda rocked when you climbed them.

I stayed in a private double room. It was up about 100 or so stairs but that wasn't a problem for me. The room was a decent size, had plenty of charging points, a small table and stools. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked fine. There was a small shower/toilet room, which was fine. The location was great and the view from the window was very nice. Street noise and the metro could be heard but it didn't disturb me. The staff were all friendly.

The hostel was basically fine, probably better than expected. Lots of places in Paris have loads of stairs so this isn't particularly unusual but if stairs are an issue, you might want to stay somewhere else. The only thing I really didn't like was the automatic air freshener in the bathroom. The smell was terrible so I had to take it off the wall and put it outside on the window sill.
