The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is a short walk from the Eifel. The hotel itself is a stunning building and was beautifully decorated during the Christmas season. Truly breathtaking. The rooms are beautiful and has all amenities to create a 5 star experience.

I booked a room with a view of the Eifel as per photos shown when you book. Despite paying a very high amount for the room, we had to lean out of the windows to see the Eifel. Thus not as per expectations created by the photos. I was extremely disappointed with this. Being winter season opening windows to see the view was not really very convenient.

The hotel was stunning and the staff were extremely friendly the food was delicious they went above and beyond for our children and we didn’t think it would be a kid friendly hotel but the kiddie dressing gowns and slippers were a great touch.Also the kid teddy bears and umbrellas were adorable 🥰

The add ons they did when you had room service and excursions were far more expensive from the hotel, also when they booked you taxis they were double the price than the same taxis .

Very kind and professional staff, great attention, everything in hotel was gorgeous and beautiful. Birthday surprise was very special and unique. Everything was clean and sophisticated. Huge terrace. Happy for this choice.

There could be some flowers on terrace, it would be better for beautiful photos.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel room and general interior look beautiful und well kept. I was lucky and got an upgrade as well. The pool area is clean and spacious and the massage I had was wonderful. Special dietary needs and allergies can be accomodated perfectly. I'll definitely come back when I'll return to Paris.

Lets give a start! Hotel location was perfect. Its nor in the crowdnedness neither in far. You could easily take your way from different roads by walking wherever you want to go(central). The garden of the hotel was like a paradise with bird calls. You eventhough can not use garden until May, still an opportunity when you open your doors to there to see and listen. Breakfast was almost much much better than other elite hotels in town which was experienced by myself before. Rooms were incredibly cleaned, daily and evening room service were settled well. You can not understand the gap when you left from the room and when you returned back again between the services. They settled everything for you while you are absent and they aware this well. My spa and pool experience was stunning , stunning perfect!! Pool area is very well designed and pool was very clean. Massage experience was one of the different than I had in my life many times before. I would like to finalised my great thoughts with the most successfull crew in the hotel. Concierge team. Mr. Gianni and Mr. Anthony. They are very well talented, smiling, experienced and very gentle. Whatever you request from them, somehow they manage to succeed that. Thank you so much for this great hospitality and all your efforts during our stay!

What is there not to like about this amazing hotel. Our stay at the Shangri-La Paris was out of this world. From the moment that we were greeted at the door upon our arrival to our departure for the airport, the Shangri-La Paris delivered the utmost in hospitality, professionalism, and service. Reception on admission was efficient and polite. The Shang Palace restaurant was otherworldly - absolutely the best Peking Duck that we have ever had. Le Bar Botaniste was THE perfect place to unwind at the end of the day, and the staff at Le Bar Botaniste were so welcoming. They very quickly got to know you by your name and by your cocktail of choice! And the pool - what a luxurious and delightful place to work out the kinks from walking around Paris all day! Overall, my family and I are so grateful to the hotel and their entire staff - everyone at Reception (especially Jean-Baptiste who worked tirelessly on our behalf), Jennifer at the Pool, all the staff at Le Bar Botaniste. This hotel comes straight out of a bygone age of welcoming elegance. We had an absolutely terrific stay!

Shangri-La is definitely amongst the top hotels in Paris and to answer one of the most important questions for lovers: Yes it has some of the best room views in all Paris of the Enchanting Tour Eiffel. My experience there was indeed magical: The scent that you smell when you enter through the gates “protected” by huge Chinese vases is truly divine: if you close your eyes you could feel like being alone in a botanic garden in Tibet. The luxurious palace (which also hosts the apartments of Prince Bonaparte on the second floor with authentic crown mouldings and gilt work, Versailles-style parquet floors, period artwork and decor that seamlessly blends classic French late 18th century design with subtle Asian influences) is located 2 minutes walking distance from the worldwide famous Place du Trocadéro. I decided with short notice to have a romantic weekend trip to Paris with my girlfriend and we took a Superior Double Room for 1 night (1510€). The staff was extremely Elegant and careful with any of our needs. And surprise: We had an enchanting room close-up view of the top half of the tour that when golden sparkling for 5 minutes on the hour every hour after nightfall until 1:00 a.m. it was a pure instagrammable dream. A nice welcome food set with Château Mascard Haut-Médoc French Bordeaux red Wine and Shangri-La macaroons was waiting for us in the room as well as a delicious Jasmine tee was offered to us as a traditional welcome gift from the hotel. We did have the time to enjoy a dry Martini at the mahogany-styled “Botaniste” bar but not enough to experience the popular CHI spa. Next time! Because this 5-stars hotel deserves more days to enjoy it all!
