Awesome quiet place with beautiful territory. Rooms a cozy and very fresh, featuring coffee maker and a nice bathroom. The hotel has no proper restaurant, but there is a lovely hall with an open fire, that is just incredible in winter. And there is a really nice gourmet restaurant in 3 min walk.

Not much to dislike about that place. Pillows and mattress are on the soft side for my liking, but might suit someone better. The only real point is incredibly slow Wi-Fi, so if you are planning any remote work, it won't be over Wi-Fi.

Drinking cocktails and dining in front of the Notre-Dame de Reims is an experience to be cherished. The menu at the Restaurant - La Grande Georgette - is exceptional but often booked out. If you want to eat there (as the hotel will warn you), please be prepared to reserve in advance. The staff are great and the concierge service very helpful. There is a tourist information center just round the corner. The location is very central and easy to navigate. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom beautifully appointed. Three days here passed very smoothly.

Our room could have been bigger - though it should be possible to work out what sort of room you get from the website. Maybe we weren't that careful when booking. The space for making tea/coffee is very cramped, but we had a lovely table on the patio which made up a bit.

It’s a little awkward to access as there are barriers to the Cathedral courtyard, so we ended up driving around a lot. We didn’t know we had to wait there for the valet to give us access.

The hotel overlooks Reims Cathedral, which is a fantastic location. We had a room looking out onto the cathedral, which was worth the extra money. The room itself was decorated and furnished in an upscale modern and chic style and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The mini-bar was well-stocked if a little expensive (when are they not?). However, we would have liked some fresh milk for tea in the morning, which was sadly conspicuous by its absence. Unfortunately, we weren't staying long enough to try the spa so can't comment on that. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. All in all a great place to stop off on the way home. Incidentally, we were driving and didn't use the hotel's off-site parking facilities. We parked overnight for free (it being Saturday/Sunday) on Rue des Tournelles, which is just behind the cathedral.

As mentioned above, some milk in the mini-bar would have been welcome. We had to go without a cup of tea until we went down to breakfast. The restaurant closed at 10pm and we were told room service ended at 9.20pm which, as we were arriving late, caused some consternation. However, we ate at Au Bureau just across the square, which was fine. One weird thing was that the dead bolt didn't work on the bedroom door - it was not properly aligned with the face plate in the frame. Not a major problem and the nice lady at the front desk said she'd get someone to look at it after we'd gone.

rooms are a little bit small, shower area could have wider glass to protect from leaving the bathroom completely wet. Due to a party in the hotel in that day, the restaurant and bar were closed to hotel guests and just available to the party/event guests. Well, we were not advised about it and although we wanted to have a drink in the bar, we could not have taken it. We talked to the manager in the following day and they offered us the parking for free as a way to compensate for that. Actually the staff was overall very kind and helpful.

The location was great, the beds were comfortable.

SPA needs a little more maintenance and care, there were no towels available in the men's and some of the SPA jets did not work. No milk in room to make a tea. We booked a courtyard room around 9 months in advance to avoid road noise as we are light sleepers, however were put in another room adjacent to the main road which was noisy, we were advised no courtyard room was available and we were not offered any compensation for the noisy room.

the restaurant was superb as was the service, we ate there for the entirety of our stay ( 3 nights) and worked our way through the menu and the champagne. The views from the terrace into the cathedral were fabulous. I loved the bread, the amuse bouche might do with a little change every other day maybe even just one item as we had the same for the 3 nights. Parking was very convenient. We hope to return. We only planned to stay one night but ended up extending for 3.

being able to stay longer

The hotel literally faces the Cathedral and was perfect for the exploration on foot of Reims. The hotel has the air of luxury with impressive reception and hidden snugs for reading, drinks or relaxation.

The rooms are functional. Not very big (despite having a suite) and no where to relax except 'on the bed'. The rooms are literally bedrooms only. Very limited slots to book the spa and pool, we were there for 3 days and 1 hour was available on 2nd day.

Everything was perfect an up to expectations within the hotel, from Custer service to the room.

At their restaurant we were unlucky? To experience the service expected. We had a lovely table on the terrace, were the first couple to arrive and had to chase the service from brining water and menu to our table well after the outdoor tables well taken and onto menu selection. Let’s just say we did not Re visit this restaurant again.

The view of the cathedral was exceptional! Perfect position to view the cathedral’s light show. The location could not have been better!

It was quite noisy at night with bars/restaurants below open until early hours, noise level was high with windows closed. Although a downfall, the view of the cathedral, location and amenities overrode this for us!
