The hotel was about a 2 minute max walk from the train station on flat ground and because of this proximity it meant that most buses, tours etc left from there. So the convenience factor was very high. Our room was large with a large bed and a great shower. The black out curtains turned day into night. The opportunity to be eco friendly meant turning down the daily clean etc for a free glass of champagne/ person/night in the bar. A good deal. The front of house staff, especially Camille, were extremely helpful. Will recommend this hotel to anyone coming this way.

The wifi was bit indifferent at times and meant going into reception to reconnect; this got a bit annoying.

Loved the interior design of the property and its history over the decades. The restaurant was fabulous and something we weren’t expecting expecting.

My only grumble was the fact that we were put in a room off reception area which was an easy access room. This in itself was no problem. However, the hotel is joined to a bar/restaurant and music continued till past 2pm. No issue if you sleep like a log, however for me it was difficult. I rang reception and they did ring the bar and the music eventually stopped. I’m sure this is no problem in the bedrooms upstairs.

The staff was incredibly professional and very helpful. Location is perfect for a short stay, having loads of restaurants in the same street, and walking distance to the Cathedral. Surely the place to stay to visit Reims

WiFi didn't work for me, I know I could have probably easily solved this at reception, but It was late and it wasn't a big bother. Although I managed to connect to the Network, it didn't provide me with connection. I might have done something wrong, but there weren't instructions anywhere in the room or the key. Just a small thing, everything else was perfect

We liked the location and the interior of the hotel.

The night we stayed there there were supposed to be protests in town in the evening. We didn’t know about this, so we went out of the hotel around 8 pm and no one in the hotel warned us, although they saw us leaving. A man in the street approached us and advised us to go home. When we came back to the hotel, they were all busy selling champagne to residents and making sure the “curfew” went ok. We are still surprised no one from the hotel staff made an effort to warn the residents of the upcoming danger in town.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. You can walk right across the square from the train station. Everything you would need is a short walk from the hotel right down the square. My only suggestion is you are staying a weekend night to see if you can get a room facing the inside courtyard. We stayed on a Friday night and till 5 am heard everyone partying and making alot of noise. The staff was amazing and helped me with a few travel related issues and reservations. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful non-chain, restored/updated “old world” hotel near train station, shopping, restaurants, cathedral, champagneries. Our junior suite was large and quiet, located in the back over a courtyard. Bathroom was nice, with a good shower. We had a wonderful dinner in the beautiful restaurant, which attracted visitors and locals. Everyone we encountered was warm and helpful. A charming place to stay.

There were not enough surfaces to put things! Easily solved by replacing the tiny table in front of the sofa with a larger one, adding a few wall shelves, etc. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Restaurant was superb, breakfast was great. Location - cannot fault it if Reims is the purpose of your visit. Staff were chatty and friendly (not everyone, but they have work to do also :) )

The Room we had had a view out over the carpark entryway, so not exactly ideal (although the parking was). Some confusion over the 'green' no room service card - neither my wife nor I can speak much french (sadly), and we took that side of the 'do not disturb' card to be the 'clean now please', but it was actually 'do not clean at all' to reduce towel/sheet cleaning. The staff resolved that very promptly for us. But just something to be aware of.

The rooms were a good size and the bathroom was lovely. This hotel is in the absolutely perfect location!

They run a system to reduce the impact on the environment, but it’s slightly floored. You can choose to not have your room cleaned(which is great!), but it meant coffee/sugar wasn’t replenished. Also they lend you wanted bottle and have water stations but we weren’t given one and we’re sure of the system.

Great location and lovely rooms

We were a bit disappointed in the breakfast, which we paid 23 euro per person for. Maybe they didn’t expect this many people but it took a while before there was a refill of the food and I had to ask a couple of times to get our coffee. The first morning we had breakfast in town, paid half the price and had a much better experience.

The concierge was really friendly and knowledgeable about the city. They gave us great advice to visit the town. The rooms were good. The bed was beautifully made and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. I also really liked that in the room they offered us some madeleines and there was a coffee machine. They also offered a discount on the parking.

I loved the room but I was disappointed that there was no blinds, no shutters or even blackout curtains. This meant that we were woken up by the sun at 9 am. On the plus side, thanks to this we could enjoy the amazing breakfast
