This is a wonderful hotel, in a fabulous area. It is suberbly managed. The Staff are wonderful and so helpful, a great team, they are so happy and willing to help where they can. The rooms are themed, we had the John Steed and Emma Peel room on the ground floor, which also had its own terrace. This hotel offers parking, but there are limited spaces, so our advice is to book yours early!! The breakfasts are very good, taken in a beautifully decorated atrium effect dining room. A short walk from the front door leads you into the heart of Saumur and also the river Loire. We would definitely use this hotel again if we are back in the area at some point. Thank you to everyone that made our 2 nights perfect!!

Lovely Boutique style hotel, great service and a very good breakfast offered. Would definitely recommend adding the parking in. We had our dog with us and the hotel were very good with this, they recommended a lovely restaurant which is well worth visiting.

Nothing about the property itself. I wouldn’t recommend eating in the main square, overpriced and not great although there is a fabulous craft beer pub, offering a massive range of craft beers with great friendly service.

Wonderful designed room, spacious with a nice terrace. Perfect for a stop over at the beautiful Saumur. Excellent choice. Parking might be possible on the small premises /back yard -however do not bet on it. We found a parking in front of the hotel and there is another big parking place close by. City center, chateau, great restaurant Boeuf Noisette is perfectly accessible by foot. Calm environment, not loud, great room, good beds plus a friendly welcome : an excellent choice for Saumur.

Lovely character property right in the middle of town . Ideally placed. The owner and the staff were charming and really helpful . The breakfast was reasonably priced and plentiful with fresh bread / croissants etc . Private gated parking area behind the hotel which was secure for the motorbikes.

The lift was out of order due to a maintenance issue which the owner was apologetic for and clearly annoyed at the engineers not being able to fix it quickly

On arrival we were met by the very beautiful Marie, she made us very welcome as did all the staff, speaking only a little French they all helped us totally enjoy are short stop over in the very beautiful city Saumur , the family room has vast amounts of space to keep everyone comfortable, highly recommend please book a car space as city centre is always busy

Location was great and the car park was a bonus in a busy city. We mixed it up and had breakfasts some days but not all, the choice was limited but more than sufficient. The beds were very comfortable. the mini fridge was useful and the aircon was a blessing. Staff were fab and helped us with whatever we needed. Would happily return.

An absolutely delightful welcome at reception from monsieur who was exceptionally helpful in advising us about places to eat. The locked car park for 10€ is a real asset. Do reserve in advance. The room was small but clean and had what was required.

The bathroom I was quite cramped but clean and served its purpose. Wouldn’t like to stay two nights because of the size.

The rooms were nicely cool and air conditioned. The ceiling were high and rooms spacious, beautifully furnished with top quality bedding and bathroom fittings. The bed was divine,so comfortable. Breakfast was healthy and of excellent quality. The owners were exceptionally welcoming and helpful in guiding us to find somewhere to eat and drink. A lovely stay. Will return.

Loved it’s slight quirkiness. Staff were excellent and location very good too. Very comfortable bed and air conditioning was very welcome.

Parking was a little limited, we couldn’t park every night. It needs to be clear in the initial information that booking is required so parking is booked when room is booked, if required.

Beautiful decor throughout with comfortable places in the shared areas to relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast.

Nothing. The only comment I would make and it has nothing to do with the hotel is that it’s quite difficult to arrange a taxi in Albi. i advise to talk to the staff a couple of days ahead of time if you need one.
