Clean and cozy, great location to walk along the quai to the Cathedral and other interesting attractions, close to public transport stations for European Parliament and Gare Centrale. Very good breakfast, warm room. I mostly apreciate the friendly and professional staff.

The hotel location is in center and the receptionist Mr Patrick is so sweet, helper and friendly. I was in there bec of Christmas Market Tour and my phone was stolen. Mr Patrick was so helpful and supportive , Thank you to him. Hotel is very easy to find, cross the Rohan Palais where is in center. Old town and the main places is very close 5 min by walk. Near to cathedral too. You can find everything near the hotel. Clean tidy new hotel 10/10

A real gem. Fantastic position , quiet and with wonderful staff. It was easy to get to, either on bus no. 10 or tram A from the station.Very friendly staff speak German and English as well as French. Yes,the room was small but I managed to organise everything well.Clean,great shower, and welcoming. They even gave me a choice of rooms, and let me see them first. A huge breakfast was at additional cost, but there was plenty of everything- croissants baguettes ,eggs,meats, cheeses yoghurts,fruits,cereals etc. If you only wanted a cup of coffee they would make it up for you separately. Very generous with answering questions, giving suggestions on places to eat, helping me with my fractured french , and generally caring for their guests.The staff go above expectations to help their guests feel welcome. A great place to stay.

Nothing. I knew that most places don't have kettles in rooms so I didn't expect one.

Lovely little hotel very well located to access city centre and historical sights. The room was simple but comfortable. Also the hotel was very quiet and as it was located in a side street it did not suffer from noise at night. Several restaurants within a 10 min walk too. Also the staff were super friendly and the desk was always manned. Finally it was useful that they had a lockable left luggage room.

The free shower gel was very basic - could have had a better shampoo and a separate conditioner.

This was my favourite hotel so far during my travel through Europe. The staff were really friendly and professional, it's super close to a beautiful canal with cafes and restaurants, and Notre Dame is only a few hundred metres away! Despite being so close to everything, the hotel is so quiet, so that plus the air-conditioning and comfy bed meant I slept like a baby. Amazing value for money as it was very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

This hotel isn't fancy, but it got the important things exactly right. I got a great night's sleep! The metal shutter completely blocked the lights from outside. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner cooled the room quickly. The location on a quiet street was perfect. And on top of all that, the shower got hot and stayed hot. I've paid twice the price in some hotels and gotten a bright nighttime room, poor air conditioning, and a cold shower in the morning. Well done!

Everything was superb. I must first mention and appreciate the amazing receptionist who was always very professional and really helpful. The hotel is a really cute smaller hotel, has everything you need for your stay, super comfortable bed. Amazing location in a quiet street but right off the centre, very close to the cathedral. Room always smelled beautiful with a floral scent. Great benefit is that you can leave your bag on the day of your departure.

Nothing to mention, everything was perfect.

The room was small but perfect for two. Cosy and cute, temperature can be adjusted with radiator, very clean and perfect storage for suitcases and coats. Staff was so special, kind, polite and helpful; gave us advices on where to eat after 22 (time when we checked in). Cathedral is only few minutes from the hotel. The area is extremely safe if you travel alone whatever gender you are.

Perfectly situated, clean and friendly. Overall: Great property in a great location. Property was east to get to and close to everything. Staff was top notch. Property is not far from great restaurants, nightlife, and historical sites. Staff: Attentive, professional and kind. Due to train cancellations I called and staff was able to send me a code to get in and directed me to my key. Room: Room was clean, clean clean. Although on the small side, it was perfect for my overnight. Breakfast: i really enjoyed the breakfast setup. No rush, no fuss and just the right items to start your day. Tip: Don’t think twice, this place is really quaint and nice. Tip: Restaurant kitchens usually close around 10pm. Plan accordingly. Note: Hotel is not close to the train station. Possibly a 20 - 30 min walk.

Beautiful location, easy to find and access from the rest of the city, very charming as a property. Full service for a reasonable price - hard to find these days but Hôtel de l'Ill delivers ! Will definitely recommend and revisit.

One staff found it suitable to lecture me on climate change, and that was uncomfortable and not very nice. She just needed to let me know that they would prefer the AC is not used or that there is a gouvernement regulation on it...but I had to stand there and listen to her for 10 minutes...
