Location was fantastic! Room was spacious. Valet staff was great (eventhough one day the receptionist acted like we didn’t have car, but we got it resolved). A/C seemed old but worked just fine.

Room could use some updates. One easy update would be to get an extension cord on each side of the bed with USB plug ins (3 USB ports on each side) or replace lamps with updsted USB included lamps. Also recommend to update the hair dryer. The not so easy fix is to update the handheld shower. Water pressure is soo high that water squirts everwhere. Either change to a different handheld shower head or figure out a way to enclose bath tub all the way to avoid flooding in bathroom. I would also suggest to update the bathtub drain. Just suggestions. Not trying to be mean. You may still get business due to location, but for us it was just not up to modern standards.

Excellent location, right next to cafes, restaurants and bars. Lovely airy, spacious and clean room with luxuriously comfortable bed and bedding. Great views from our room. Excellent aircon and ample space for clothes and hiding your suitcase away (I hate living out of my suitcase when in a hotel)

Honestly I didn't dislike anything. I would just flag that if you do book to park a car, you are charged for it and you don't have free access to it as you need to be accompanied by a member of hotel staff to a car park a couple of blocks away. No issue for us as we didn't use the car at all during our stay but the parking fee was a bit pricey (30 euro per night). Unsure if there was free street parking.

The hotel is located on the edge of the Old Town/ Town center („Grand Ile“), I.e. easy to reach by car or public transport. On foot the Old town (mainly pedestrian areas) are quick to reach. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We appreciated it all the more as we were in Strasbourg to celebrate my daughter‘s 18th birthday. Our room had good air conditioning which we enjoyed in the July heat. The hotel exudes elegance and an art deco style.

Public parking near the hotel seemed pretty pricey. I like to sleep on (very) firm mattresses; the one I had in my room was too soft.

An extraordinary and comfortable stay. They gave me a room on 4th floor from which I could view the river and the église at sunrise, as well as and moonrise over the river. The environment is very quiet and beautiful but just a street away from the tram station and the city’s busy area! The morning birds singing with the église at sunrise as the background is the most unforgettable! There is very nice sauna facilities on the 5th floor, which is free to book for use when checkin. The breakfast hall room is elegantly decorated and tables are spaciously arranged! Highly recommend to try the breakfast during the stay. Staff service is very good too!

Perhaps the food from room service could be a bit improved! And to reactivate the bike rental service on the spot of the hotel will be appreciated!

They contacted us a few days before our arrival, asking if we had any special needs or requests. I did, and there were two extra pillows waiting for us on arrival! All staff members were very helpful as we stumbled over French words, smiling, and reassuring us.

As an older couple, we were slightly nervous standing in the slippery tub for a shower, with no grab bar for climbing in and out. Maybe this would be remedied if you ever decide to renovate. (Though we see no such need, otherwise!)

Big room. Nice and helpful staff. Few minutes walk to center. Has private parking (not free)

No elevator for 5th floor (staff suggested to assist). Parking requires asking staff to open the garage for me (about 1 minute walk from the hotel). Junior suite is pretty big room but as it's the last floor it has an angled ceiling that can be not much comfort for tall people - especially in the shower (i am not a tall person). Windows are very small.

The staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating, the bathroom was amazing, I'm a conneuseur of bathtubs and there's was awesome, especially because the toilet was in a separate room.The bed was comfy, the hotel was located in easy walking distance to everything, the room was very clean and quiet.

The refrigerator wasn't really cold, the room although clean, comfortable and nice wasn't exactly what I was expecting from the photos.

We have stayed as this beautiful hotel before. It is situated not in the centre of Strasbourg but in a quiet area. Strasbourg as a city, has one of the most user-friendly tram services. The hotel is a short walk away from a tram stop. We travelled to Strasbourg by train and then by tram to the hotel. The room we stayed in this time, was spacious with some very comfortable chairs, thick carpets and a big bathroom with a bath only. Provision is made to "shower" in the bath with a hand held shower head. There is a kettle, coffee or tea is provided so that one may make your own hot drink. This hotel does not feel like the conventional "hotel" but more like an old manor house.

We were not able to park in the hotel parking because we did not reserve early enough. But there is paid underground parking nearby.

A hotel that fulfils the expectations of the four stars and at the same time transmits a familiar atmosphere. Maybe because the staff is very nice and helpful. We really appreciated the locked storage for our E-Bikes, the nice and clean room, the perfect location. I can recommend it!

Unfortunately, the minibar in our room didn't work, but the barkeeper helped out with a bucket of ice cubes every evening.
