I got an upgrade bcz there were no more available beds at the dorm. I’m sure the dorm would be as gd as the individual room. I’m thankful for the service in general. I would definitely book this hotel again, for the proximity, the cleanliness, the quality of the service and the location itself in a very pleasant atmosphere.

Nothing important to be mentioned but the room was a bit dark bcz of the colors used as wall painting. It’s very stylish but in the same time it’s slightly suffocating, the reason why I didn’t rate 10

The staff were lovely and spoke very good English. I liked the interior design and the fact that there was a restaurant downstairs and a supermarket next to the building. You can make the room fully light-proof which is great for tired travellers and I really appreciated that. Every bed had its own power plug, two USB plugs and a light. Bonus points for curtains around each bed for extra privacy. Also, one of my roommates was able to borrow a hair dryer from reception at no extra cost which was really good! The location was also really good with a tram stop right outside the building and the city centre a walkable distance away. The airport was only around 20 minutes by tram.

As much as the facilities in the room were good, I wouldn't recommend the kitchen. It was a little dirty and smelly, there were fruit flies and the washing-up sponge looked like it hadn't been changed in ages. I wouldn't prepare my food there, but it was good to have a microwave. The lockers in the room didn't come with locks so remember to bring your own. Also, a minor point but it's something that other hostels do differently - shelves in the fridge aren't labelled by room and you are encouraged to write some information on the items you put inside and pens are provided, but there are no stickers or tags.

Very nice and modern hostel. Maintenance and cleaning was done frequently. The location is about 20-25 minutes from central but right next to a tram stop that takes you into the center. Privacy curtains are a nice addition.

Eklo can benefit from social activities to be more engaging, particularly for solo travelers. Definitely catered more towards a hotel vibe. Also, there is no aircon in the rooms, not ideal for the summer when it reaches above 30c The table fan works OK, but doesn't reach people sleeping on the top bunks. Nevertheless would stay again if visiting Toulouse.

Firstly the excellent customer service from all the staff (literally each one of them). When we can’t find our way to their garage, one staff just came out to see us and show us the way. The room is very functional but still have a tasteful interior. The location is just great, some great resto and supermarket all in walking distance! Although it’s abt 15 mins drive to the city center, you have a tram stop just in front of the hotel.

The building is not well isolated so we can hear every noise from outside (however with all the great things abt this hotel we will come back here with ear plugs next time 😉)

Perfect stay for our big group! We were able to book several rooms with the bunks and they were very nice! We didn’t spend much time in the hotel (busy enjoying Toulouse) but it was perfect for a place to sleep - it was quiet and comfortable, the bunks are well equipped with curtains for privacy and USB charging port, as well as a little shelf to put a few belongings on (there’s also a big locker for each bunk). Other members of our group stayed in a family room and a double/twin room and all were great! Very well designed hotel and fantastic value for money. Super clean and the breakfast (which we ended up getting last minute) was nice too (and not bad for ten euros!) There’s a tram stop right outside and we were able to get to the city centre easily in about 15-25 mins (depending on which precise part we needed).

The only changes I would wish for would be air conditioning or a fan as it was very hot (but you get what you pay for and for a basic place it’s exceptionally good), and adding some hooks to hang towel/clothes in the bathroom in the 6 person bunk rooms.

The facilities are very nice, clean and modern. The staff is helpful and speaks French and English. Check in and check out was quick and easy. They do have luggage storage but inquire about it first thing because it does fill up. There's a bar and restaurant on the ground level. The rooms are so clean. The beds are comfortable. The price can't be beat. The best value hotel I've been to in France.

For the dorm rooms, there is not a hook in the shower room to hang anything.The location is on the other side of the Garonne so it's a bit out of the way from where all the action is. However, there is a frequent tram and bus that stop right in front of the hotel that drop you off right in the city center.

The reception and bar area made a very positive first impression, as did the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the location, though a little way out of the centre, was very convenient for the airport and only an easy tram journey or pleasant ride on a city bike (there is a stand just around the corner) from the centre.

The only real problem- not too bad in April, but it could be in the summer- was a lack of air conditioning in the room. Even in spring time, we were uncomfortably warm at night. We slept with the window open but, with the window opening on to the walkway to other rooms, other guests could see into the room then (there are shutters, but if you close them fully, they also stop most of the fresh air from coming in). Also, the rooms are quite small- totally fine for a 2-3 day stay, but any longer and you'd struggle to find space for your luggage.

Breakfast was really good and the location is fantastic with the tram directly outside. It was a real bonus to be able to leave our car in the underground secure car park. Our evening meal was also very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful and our little dogs 1st experience of hotel life was enhanced by the staff’s kindness towards her. Overall a great success, we won’t hesitate to use Eklo again. An important point, everywhere was very clean and we were able to thank the cleaner on our floor before we left.

There wouldn’t be enough space or storage for clothes for a long stay

Breakfast was great, it was my first time in France and I really enjoyed the croissants. The staff was extremely helpful despite my limited French (multiple people spoke good English). The hotel was very modern, clean and nicely decorated. It's also very close to the tram, which assisted greatly in getting around the city.

The hotel is in the city, so there was some moderate traffic noise. Not any worse than I have experienced in other places; I routinely bring ear plugs with me when I travel. Also, the room lights don't turn on unless the room key is placed in a receptacle on the wall after you enter; took me a couple of minutes to figure that out. You should explain that to Americans :)

Great bar/reception area with free iced water and airconditioning. Nice and clean rooms with privacy curtains, mirror, storage for luggage etc. Located right next to a supermarket and good restaurants, but a bit off from the center.

The check-in experience was somewhat cold,, I don’t expect all giggles and smiles, just a friendly face. However some of the staff in the restaurant were a lot more welcoming. In addition paying 3 euros pr night to park a bike is a bit expensive in my opinion.
