Fantastic location, with easy parking right outside (free on Sunday when we arrived, more expensive in the week) - very helpful, friendly lady on reception who told us where to go that evening to see highlights of old centre, we followed her advice and had a great evening - recommend the bar with dancing by the Loire and the great restaurants around the old square

The reception and hotel were two floors up, not great if you have mobility issues. There were a few cobwebs in our room and some of the breakfast fruit had been hanging around a bit too long!

The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and has a nice view and atmosphere. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable. I wish I could take their pillows home. Air conditioning worked perfect and easy to adjust. Black out curtains available. My luggage was delayed in Paris (nearby the hotel I could buy essentials and new clothes). It arrived a few days later while I was out and the staff received it for me and carried it up to my room (no elevator). That really helped! I've seen some people comment about the water. All showers were hot and totally fine! No complaints!

Very good location - between the old town and Rue Colbert. The hotel is a couple of minutes from old Tours, Staff were excellent. Though, in truth, I only met Stephanie. Good storage for my bicycle.

My room faced on to the place de république. Below me is a restaurant and people smoke outside and the smell drifts up. I know this is of concern to the hotel but hard to know what they can do. People shouldn’t be allowed to smoke in restaurants, even if on outside tables Also the square is a public road so you can get noisy traffic occasionally. Didn’t bother me too much.

The young lady at the reception (the only member of the staff we met) was always exceptionally friendly, helpful and made everyone feel welcome with here positive attitude. With a bit of luck, you have free parking every night just in front of the hotel. The location is good. Everything is just a short walk away.

Even though the windows close well and the street has no traffic, you hear quite a lot of people testing the motors of their cars or just spend time shouting at each other until late at night.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room, while one of their smallest, was clean, had just enough space and everything we needed for a night, including a kettle, tea bags and mugs (not that common in France!). Breakfast was delicious and - helpfully- available from 7.15am. There was a good car park (Euro 20 / night).

The bathroom was quite a tight space and there was not room for a proper door, so it relied on a slightly flimsy sliding divider. Not an issue for 1 night however. The square we faced on to was somewhat noisy, it being a big party night. The hotel had thoughtfully provided ear plugs.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful despite our lack of any intelligible French. The location is great, just off the main shopping street and tram line, close to many, many small restaurants, as well as historical sites in town. Some rooms like ours overlook the square (a parking area) lined with trees and the breakfast space faces the same direction. Breakfast is nicely appointed, nothing too fancy but very good baguettes and decent croissants. Other breads are out as well. Plenty of yogurt, ham, cheese, etc. It’s reasonably priced compared to other places we have stayed. The room was very nice. We had asked for one without all the red decor we saw in the pictures and they gave us a room with cool, leafy green wallpaper. Soothing. Windows were double paned so if you need to close them due to the nightlife outside, they cut the noise a lot and make the A/C more efficient. They also provide earplugs in the room if you want them. The bathroom is clean and modern and worked properly. The beds were firm and comfortable.

Nothing that the hotel could do much about (see how they mitigate street noise above). Others have commented on the lack of an elevator with the reception on the 2nd (3rd for Americans) floor. With these historic buildings, I don’t see how an elevator could be put in. If you have heavy suitcases, there are landings on the half floors and you can take it slow. It is manageable.

I like this place. All the staff were very nice and kind.The breakfast is actually better than most of the other places i stayed. Location is very good and if you are a "come back after 18:00 and leave before 09:00 to work" then parking is free in area close to the hotel! The hotel has a secure garage which is convenient and costs 15euro per day. Some people may consider the rooms a little small, but i think they are cozy. Discount at the Italian restaurant downstairs (get the coupon from the hotel). This is a simple hotel with a good location. There are earplugs in the room but i did not need them. I would definitely stay here again.

Upgrade offered on check in at very little extra cost. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Excellent continental breakfast;, refreshed frequently; very helpful and pleasant staff. Tea and coffee in rooms. Pleasant little sitting room (with kettle etc).

No lift - but we were made aware in advance. Could be noisy outside - but excellent double glazing, so not a problem.

We got special garage for our bikes, it was very cool :) And I love the look of the room, very nice colors and very elegant and cosy. Moreover the hotel is located in the centre yet it's quiet.

There were two double beds in our room and we were forbid to even touch the other, otherwise we would have to pay extra 10 euros which I find a strange idea.

A lovely, friendly hotel. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They even offered a map of Tours and marked all the places to eat and visit nearby. The room was extremely clean & the bed most comfortable. I could walk to the historic centre in 10 mins
