Excellent room size, although shower over bath difficult to use due to eaves. Good breakfast at additional cost. Location very good for exploring Versailles.

We liked everything about the hotel. Of course, the best thing is its location - in close proximity to the Park and the Gardens of Versailles with a possibility to enter either through special gates, which are both just around the corner. Our room was spacious, modern and quite comfortable. The breakfast was not varied but it was very good quality and we enjoyed eating in the hotel restaurants as they are very nice and beautiful (like everything in the hotel). The staff are heplful. Thank you for arranging us an amazing picnic in the garden! We definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Versailles.

Our booking implied a reward (money compensation). A month has passed since our stay at the hotel, but we have not received it from Booking.com yet, which is a bit disappointing (

Breakfast was utterly amazing - a beautiful, historic room to eat in with excellent food and attentive table service. Our family really looked forward to starting our day here. The pool was excellent, rooms were extremely large and the adjoining room configuration for our family worked very well. Location wouldn’t be more perfect for visiting the palace and town. Lovey staff at reception and at the restaurant made us feel very at home and at breakfast kept the hot chocolate flowing for our kids.

Only minor gripes but the provision for electric car charging could be improved - at our visit only a Porsche destination charger (so not valid for us) and some on street ones that we couldn’t get to work. One of our rooms air conditioning appeared to be locked to quite a high temperature for some reason (25C) - our fault for not mentioning it at the time as I am sure it would have been easy to adjust but it made one of our nights a little uncomfortable. It might be worth adding some extra signs from the multi story parking to point to reception for checkin, it may just be us but we got a bit lost getting over from the pavilion to the front desk and back again with all our bags.

If you have your dog with you then you cannot eat in any restaurant other than the brasserie unless you are happy to leave your dog in the room. You cannot book the brasserie and have to wait for a table which on a busy night would be an issue plus you cannot get a drink in the hallway while you wait for your table. We waited 45 mins for our table which would have been fine if we had been able to enjoy a drink while we were waiting.

Breakfast was AMAZING! So much choice, fantastic service, and I should also say delicious. Felt a bit like the second class citizen staying in Trianon palace next door but the interconnecting rooms worked well for us as a family. Super helpful concierge who sorted last min palace tics for us. All staff were excellent. The only issue we had was air con in our room was really noisy and couldn’t go below 22.5 which was really frustrating. First night was fireworks so couldn’t open window but second night just had windows open and was fine and quiet. Kids room air con worked fine!

From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken-care of. The staff was super friendly, and our bags reached our room before we did. The staff did their best to make sure we had a perfect experience - from personally delivering ear plugs to our room (my friend snores), to making us feel like their post important guests even though it was our first time there. Also, the breakfast was incredible - worth the price. You literally dine in an upscale restaurant with a view of the Versailles gardens.

I felt a bit misled when the booking.com result said it was 5-stars, but we were staying in the 4-star building on the same campus. The amenities were all the same, it was just a 4-star room with 5-star amenities at a 5-star hotel. I wish I knew this at the time of booking, although we still had a wonderful stay.

Location is just right beside Versailles Palace. Staff were very friendly. Free parking. Restaurant La Veranda by Gordon Ramsey was great and staff there were very helpful and nice. Facilities were nice but they are located in main building. Nice amenities in the toilet.

We stayed in the Kings Pavilion which is another building opposite to the main one and it doesn’t seem so grand and the interior was normal which is not really value for the expensive night we paid for. Upon checked in room had broken hot water in the shower, also the plug came off from the wall outside the toilet. This is not what we expect in a 5 star hotel. But the reception had it fixed while we enjoy our dinner in the restaurant.

Location was perfect to see Versailles. It’s within walking distance. All the staff were warm and welcoming. Very friendly. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are very large.

The a/c did not cool the room. It only lowered the temperature 3 degrees. You couldn’t set the temperature you wanted. I specifically searched for places that had a/c since we were miserable the last trip to France due to high temps and no a/c. I woke up sweating yesterday morning with my husband complaining about being hot. Fortunately, we were only stayed one night here. It was not worth complaining about.

The localisation, hotel facilities, room, design, restaurant, crew,... Restaurant Veranda's quality was more than good, exceptional and with good staff. Best fresher oysters ever!

Everything was perfect. I was just surprised that there was no shower in the room and only a bath tube. not convenient for a room of this standing. Usually, every hotel has both. Finding the way to the pool in - 1 is really difficult and not so close, a good signalisation will be a + The breakfast organisation was a bit messy despite the reduced amount of customers.
