The property was so breath taking when we entered the gate, a grand front of the house and garden was gorgeous! The interior was just as grand and impressive and so was the room with large windows overlooking the grass. The breakfast was well organised and catered to what we chose the night before and the breakfast dining room was again stunning and thoroughly enjoyable. Bathroom had some items and robes which was handy too! Host was helpful as well and gave a list of food places nearby too!

Double bed is two singles together so there’s a slight dip in the middle

A beautifully restored château, elegantly furnished, with the bedroom decorated in soft pink and cream with period furnishings. The owners were most welcoming and friendly hosts and served breakfast in the delightful dining room. The room had good facilities, a very comfortable bed, and was very clean, just lacking air conditioning on a hot day, but there was a powerful fan which helped to make it more bearable. There is private parking outside the building and a large garden, mainly grass and mature trees.

Nothing except the lack of air con.

We arrived much later than planned due to issues with Le Shuttle. We had to abandon a reserved restaurant in St Omer that evening. However the host was very welcoming and stepped in to find us an alternative restaurant for that evening. The Chateau was very welcoming, the host had lit a fire in the guest sitting room for us, and instantly we felt very relaxed.

Nothing really. The rooms are luxurious and the owners were very welcoming. The Chateau is a delightful place to stay in and ideally placed to explore Boulogne and the coastal towns such as Le Touquet.

Beautiful chateau set in lovely gardens with a view of the sea. Good location with pretty seaside towns nearby. Excellent room with very comfortable bed and good shower room with plenty of instant hot water. Superb breakfast. Guy and his lovely wife were perfect hosts, so kind and helpful, giving us tips for great restaurants and places to visit locally. This is our second stay and we will definitely return.

Everything was amazing from the start until the end. We were fortunate that the property wasnt busy before our arrival so we were able to check in early. Which was amazing due to our overnight ferry journey. We were given a tour of the property but after a hectic xmas we simply wanted to enjoy the room and premises. The rooms were extremely spacious and well appointed with coffee and Tv facilities. Heated towel rails were one of the best additions given it was the middle of winter. We loved exploring the area with the thought of having our own little chateau to come back to. We were lucky enough one night that the fire was roaring in the quiet room which we got to enjoy with a drink and some chess. It was always a delight coming down to breakfast every morning in what can only be described as five star dining with home cooked omlettes, freshly pressed orange juice and croissants !!

Nothing to add here.

This Chateaux is lovely, well presented with all you need for a pleasant stay. The owners Guy and his lovely wife are very Friendly and helpful. They found us a nearby restaurant for our evening meal, which was excellent. Breakfast was perfect, set in a lovely room looking over the garden whilst listening to piano music is a very relaxing way to start the day! Great stay would recommend a visit.

A little hick up with our arrival. Sorted very quickly by Guy!

The proximity to Calais is perfect. The grandeur and setting of the establishment is lovely. The attention to detail of the decor is excellent. The breakfast is great.

I’d prefer it if it were a bit cheaper. Maybe have a deal for repeat customers. Also might stay longer if it were less pricey. Finally if an evening meal were available that would be amazing.

Gorgeous property, with the comfort of modern times, while preserving the history of the property. The house furniture, decors and arts are beautiful. Very nice hosts, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast prepared with great attention and care, the croissants and pains au chocolat are ones of the best I ever had (I'm French and my standards are high for these).

Nothing, everything was perfect. One note: we always wear earplugs when we sleep, I would recommend to do so here as well, as the bedroom wooden floor is cracking when walking (e.g. to go to the bathroom), you might wake up your travel companion otherwise. ;)

Great old chateau. Beautiful rooms, very nice breakfast. But best of all: the owners. I’m not sure but it looks family-run. I arrived late due to traffic and all was arranged very well; they left the key and instructions and it was easy and very comfortable. I loved my stay here.

We could not have enjoyed our stay with Guy and Catherine more! The chateau is exquisite. We went on a lovely walk around the property and enjoyed the history of the site and the amazing views. The room was immaculate! The bedding was so comfortable and furniture stunning. The balcony offered excellent views. Breakfast was the perfect start to our day of travel and a wonderful addition to our stay. We would recommend the Chateau de Marine to anyone who is in the area! It is an amazing stop for comfort, luxury, and history.

We really didn’t have any complaints. It was outstanding.
