The balcony! Absolutely stunning view and great feeling of the running river water.. super relaxing! The bed was comfy. And absolutely loved the staff, super friendly and welcoming. Thanks to Kakha we had such a great time during breakfast, he helped us with our luggage as well, which was so much appreciated.

A little bit too overpriced maybe ,as the furniture and decor is quite outdated and needs renovation. Also the bathroom shower curtains were not in order and water was leaking everywhere.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of delightful. The view from our room overlooking the River Rioni was absolutely breathtaking, providing a picturesque backdrop throughout our stay. The hotel's central location was a major plus, placing us within walking distance of the main area bustling with restaurants and pubs, making it incredibly convenient for dining and entertainment. Kakho who was the hotel manager was extremely nice and pleasant to talk to about the city and he ensured we had a really comfortable stay. The only thing I want to call out is that there is no parking if you have a car and you have to park on the mai n road

The only thing I want to call out is that there is no parking if you have a car and you have to park on the main road whch can be really busy and finding a space may be difficult at peak hours.

Fantastic, family-run, three star hotel next to the center of Kutaisi! The hotel picked us up from the airport in the middle of the night for a small fee. Our room had a fabulous balcony overlooking the river, with city views and also the mountains. The size of the room isn't enormous, but it's perfect for two people, especially with the balcony. The room has a very retro/vintage vibe. The bathroom could use some updating, but the shower was hot and powerful. The breakfast was excellent, and when we had to leave early to catch a train the owners opened up the breakfast room a bit early for us. :-)

We enjoyed everything about our stay!

Hotel is in a good location about 20 mins walk from main train station. Its located right on the river, with lovely balconies to enjoy the afternoon sun, or for breakfast in the summer months. The building has a lovely ambience. We had a budget room which was quite small but we did see inside other rooms which were lovely. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and really made our stay . Breakfast was quite satisfactory for the price we paid. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Kutaisi

The hotel is a little hard to find- follow the directions given by the hotel, google maps will get you lost! The beds were a bit uncomfortable because they sagged in the middle. There was a small leak from the bidet tap in the bathroom.

This is a really nice, quirky and characterful little hotel. Don't be put off by the rather plain outside as you walk up to it as inside it is very nicely kept and well looked after. The receptionists were all very welcoming and helpful with good English, and our room was large and airy and clean with a nice large bed. The decor was very nice giving the place a rather 'old fashioned' look but still looked great (if a little badly done - don't look too close to the wallpaper edges!) and the bathroom was pleasant although a little small with some flimsy fittings (like the toilet roll holder kept dropping off the wall). The room had a kettle and tea/coffee and a safe and a good sized wardrobe. It also had a door to a really nice terrace with chairs and table right next to the roaring and very turbulent main city river which was really impressive. Breakfast was reasonable with not much variety and after more than 2 days it would become rather boring. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the center of the town and tucked into a quiet little alley off a main road. They could also arrange tours and taxis to anywhere (including Tbilisi) for pretty good value.

The large expanse of wood-style flooring in the room does look good but also rather echoes sound. So we could hear talking and foot-fall in the room above us which was fine on the first night as the residents went to bed early, but the residents the next night were much noisier and their one hour 'romping' around midnight was very clearly heard below! Perhaps the beds could be place on rugs to help mask the sounds?

The location of Sanapiro Hotel is fabulous. It is in the city centre, close to the main sights, for example the incredible food market. Our room had a terrace facing Rioni river, with spectacular views. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they organized our transfer from and to the airport. It was a pity we could stay for only one night, but our travel schedule did not allow us more. As we had to leave very early the morning after, the staff was kind enough to prepare a pack with food for the journey.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they welcomed us with a big smile :) They arranged us taxi to come from Kutaisi airport at our arrival, and also another taxi when we were departing from Kutaisi to Batumi. They made the check-in and -out very straight forward for us, and also recommended good places to eat and drink. Access to the center from the hotel is very easy and only takes 5min. of walking. There are also other hotels around, so it is quite safe area. We stayed in a room with a double-bed on the second floor. The room was equipped well and everything was functioning. Things like AC, fridge, water boiler, hot water etc. are all available. The floor we stayed also had a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the river. Their breakfast also is definitely worth to try. In fact, it is way better than any breakfast you might get outside the hotel in Kutaisi. Thanks for your hospitality, and hope to meet with you one day again to drink Georgian wine together ;)

Welcoming atmosphere and very helpful staff. Breakfast was included and tasty and with a river view! We had everything we needed for breakfast. You can also buy beer/water and taste local homemade chacha and wine. Air conditioning worked well. It's possible to chill and dry laundry on the balcony. Beautiful grapes, pomegranate and banana trees in the garden. We felt cozy in this hotel. Thanks to Kakha for hospitality! We'd definitely stay there next time

The bed could be updated. However, we slept well! WC may leak a bit inside but if you have a special skill of slightly pushing the button once again right after flushing, everything is alright!

The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely view over the river, and comfortable, large, and nicely designed rooms. It's very well located, right in the center of town but off the street. The staff were super friendly as well. Overall, my favourite hotel I stayed at in Georgia!

Everything is really clean except for the bathroom.walls, which have specks of mould. It's understandable, being right at the river it's very humid, but obviously mould is quite serious.

Great helpful staff especially Kakha who was always cheerful and welcoming nothing was too much trouble.Good breakfast included nice outside area. Lovely room with balcony overlooking the River. They organised 2 day trips for us with good driver who didn't speak English but we had information translated on his phone so no problem communicating. Wonderful cake shop just round the corner
