Great location 3 min walk to thermal baths. Comfortable extra large double bed - best night’s sleep of our trip! Friendly helpful staff. Secure underneath hotel cheaper than local garage though spaces limited. Short walk to great restaurants and bars. We love Leo’s bar and La Casserole restaurant. Fridge in room.

Steps up to reception. Decor and bathroom a bit dated. Would have liked a kettle. But vfm more than compensates for these minor points.

I booked this hotel after a change in itinerary as our other hotel was not available for our dates. Thank God! This location and the staff are fabulous. They upgraded our room to a wonderful balcony room with the most comfortable bed yet- Achmed (sorry about the spelling!) was our go-to guy. And I'm not even sure he went over and above - he was just attentive and welcoming. We needed our train tickets printed for the night train, and he made it happen. We ate at the restaurant Zamu - best Thai coconut soup ever! - and used most of the facilities. Exceptional. We could walk to anything and everything we needed to. Upon discovering Baden-Baden we did see the hotel we originally booked and commented that Hotel Quellenhof was a much better property for location and vibe. A 2 minute walk to the spa?? Hells yes! Don't look any further for a great place in Baden-Baden- Hotel Quellenhof is it!

That we had to leave!

The hotel was in a great location right near the centre of the city and only a block away from the Thermen (both Caracalla and Friedrichsbad). The hotel room was large and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. They also give you a ticket that you can put towards a free hour at Caracalla (buy two hours, get one free) and various other things around town.

If there was any fault I had to highlight, it would be that they don't provide tea/coffee in the room - they were happy to lend me a kettle upon request but it would then have been great to have tea bags, cups and milk in the room, which I went and bought at a nearby shop - and also the wifi signal was a little bit weak which caused it to sometimes drop out. But these things didn't affect my stay much at all. Overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel, second time we'd stayed and it didn't disappoint. Room clean and well kept. Quiet despite overlooking the street. Breakfast plentiful and excellent. Staff helpful in giving me non dairy milk for my coffee. Also caring towards my daughter and willing to not charge for her breakfast on the morning she was unwell and only wanted a glass of juice. Requests such as extra pillows and water in the room dealt with quickly. Excellent location near to baths, shops and Christmas market. Will come back this Christmas!

Bit of a faff checking in as I'd had to do two bookings to add an extra night as our flight was changed and we arrived a day earlier. Was initially told we would have to change rooms after first night, but common sense prevailed when I pushed for a reason why and we were allowed to stay in same room. I mean, I don't know what the issue was as both rooms were of a same class so it wasn't as though they needed our particular room back the following day.

The breakfast was very good with lots of choices and the breakfast room was very bright and spacious.Our balcony was also great and we used it several times due to beautiful weather.The bathroom was also modern and well appointed.The beds were comfortable and spacious. We would come back to this hotel

One of the large windows was fogged up due to a defective seal. The living room had a ceiling fixture missing with exposed wiring. Most hotels provide complementary bottled water but we had to pay 2 euros for each bottle used.

Excellent service. The lady who checked us in was very gracious,. She spoke almost perfect Spanish ( was not necessary but greatly appreciated), was very accommodating with a bit of earlier check in and baggage storage before and after checking in and out. She helped us with train information as well. The room was great, ample, clean and value for money. The hotel is in top location, just on the corner of the spa, which the hotel gave us a complimentary hour each.

Everything was amazing

Check in smooth and staff excellent through our stay helping with printing boarding passes and local travel info etc. Hotel is really well located, near the bus to the station, bus to funicular railway and easy walking distance for everything in the town. Lovely walk to the town museum through the park etc. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, but there are many great local bars, cafes and restaurants.

Having a plug socket and light switch by the pillow was a bit odd.

Breakfast was good, starts 730am and cost 15euros for adults and 7.50 for kids. Staff were helpful and nice. Location is very convenient.

Rooms and hallways were very dark, definitely need more lights especially in winter with short days. The family room is on the top level which does not have lift access - you will need to climb a flight of stairs from level 4 - to note for families with young kids or elderly.

Easy to find, steps away from bus stop, shops and restaurants. Very handy for going both to Festspielehaus and Kurhaus. Very spacious room with comfortable beds.

The hotel is located on the main street, there is noise from traffic during day and night. It was too hot inside to be able to close the balcony door so this can be uncomfortable if you’re light sleeper. No air conditioning. There is a fan but nowadays it’s so hot outside and this device is not enough.

The location is a major highlight, as it's conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Caracalla Therme, which was the main attraction during our visit. One thing that stood out was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. Despite our late check-in, they were accommodating and welcoming, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free arrival.

The room itself had a comfortable temperature, even without air conditioning. However, there was a noticeable smell in the room, which was a minor drawback. Unfortunately, we couldn't remedy this by opening the windows at night, as our room was on the 2nd floor, we didn't feel comfortable leaving them open.
