The area is totally buzzing at night time, good for young people. The room and building were basic as expected for an old factory and for the price you pay, but it was clean and reasonably quiet considering that its a backpacker. I can recommend it for people who are on a budget and still want some comfort. The room was small but cosy and the bed comfy. Certainly a much better place than many other backpackers that i have stayed in. But do not expect hotel ambiente.

Carrying heavy suitcases up the stairs can be challenging unless you have a backpack. No lift, but again very good for backpacking.

As a group of friends, our experience at the baxpax hostel l in Berlin was truly remarkable, surpassing all expectations. This convenience saved us valuable time and energy, enabling us to make the most of our trip. The staff members were friendly and helpful, offering valuable tips and recommendations for exploring Berlin. The vibrant atmosphere at the common areas also allowed us to meet fellow travelers from around the world, making our stay even more enriching. In conclusion, our experience at the hostel in Berlin exceeded our expectations in several ways.

We did encounter a minor setback during our stay. The hostel's name was similar to another in Berlin s city center,, causing some confusion upon our arrival. It would be beneficial for the management to address this issue to avoid any inconvenience for future guests. Despite this minor hiccup, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hostel.

We were put in the same room, the beds were really comfy and the lockers were big enough for our large backpacks. The surrounding area is super nice with lots of bars and restaurants, as well as a park. We felt safe in the hostel/area. There were also loads of little cards downstairs that gave us discounts to museums etc. When we checked out they let us keep our bags there until it was time for our train.

There weren't really any cooking facilities aside from a kettle, but it served us fine anyways. Shower room did not have a lock on the door and the cubicle was transparent so showering was a bit nerve-wracking, however no one came in so it was overall ok.

The room was very large and bright. I liked the carpeted floor, it was definitely quieter at night because of it, and made it more cozy. Also I liked that the bed linens included a fitted sheet, pillow case and duvet cover. Much more straightforward than the array of random sheets that other hostels often provide.

It was quite a trek out to it, don't expect city centre. But that said, Berlin is quite big so it depends what areas interest you. The showers were not the most private as the doors were mostly see through. It could also have done with more space to put toiletries in the shower as there was no option but the ground. Also you needed the key to unlock the door to leave the room if somebody locked it which did not seem fire safe and was inconvenient when it was dark at night to try to quietly open the door. Also nowhere to conveniently will water bottle. Most of these issues were minor though. Also there were not charging outlets near all the beds, just the odd one in some corners of the room

Die Fabrik is in a great location - a few minutes from Warschauer Strasse and Gorlitzer Park, and close to many great clubs, music venues and restaurants. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. It's very quiet inside the hostel, people tended to be very respectful of space and the rooms are generally clean.

The shower doors are transparent so there's not so much privacy. However, there are showers are on every floor, so you can find an empty shower room and have the bathroom to yourself. The bathrooms were not as clean as expected - however, they are cleaned regularly

Very pleasant stay in single room with shared bathroom. Clean and comfortable with basic furniture. Everything I needed for a one night stay. Excellent location for my reason for visiting, with public transport (bus, S-bahn) in close walking distance. Numerous restaurants and eateries around, bakery for breakfast couple of doors down. Clean room with crispy clean bed linens and towel. Shared bathroom was clean. Very comfy that there is a luggage storage room for free. Would stay here again.

Reception wasn't on premises 24 hrs, so when toilet paper ran out, no one was there (I helped myself to toilet paper from the men's bathroom).

Located in an old factory means this hostel has nice character. The staff were nice and helpful. Stayed in a private room with my partner. The room was big, the beds were clean and comfy (I like a hard mattress). I would say it's a perfect budget option for a couple of nights, you get exactly what you pay for and I cannot be disappointed. Lots of bars and shops around including good breakfast spots close by.

Toilets could have been cleaned more regularly The WiFi didn't reach my room, but not really a big deal for me. It might be for others.

The location was perfect for my needs - the hostel is close to the Mercedes-Benz Arena, has bus stops and U-Bahn very close by, and the connection from Berlin Hauptbahnhof was really good. The reception staff is very nice, speaks English well and answers all questions to the best of their ability. The room was spacious, the bathroom and shared shower right next to it, so no need to wander around the hostel in just a towel ;)

Very minor things, not really worth mentioning. Everything was in good order in general.

It's a really nice hostel with this special style. The receptionist lady was lovely, she inmediately tried to put me together with girls, even that only mixed one was available when I booked it. I think I was lucky, because the other guests were really nice and the bathroom also stayed clean the whole time. The area also amazing, close to the East Side Gallery, everything is close. Had a really good experience.

The lockers were broken, so we were able use only one locker with my lock. There is no night reception.

Rooms were clean, bathrooms too; comfortable beds, enough room to store things safely. Very nice, english-speaking staff.

Shower cabins were almost transparent, so even tho there were two in bathroom, only one person at the time would use it. They should be less transparent, which would give more privacy in shared bathroom and make it more comfortable for two people to use those two available cabins at the same time.
