A nice new hotel in Kreuzberg, at The Wall and within easy reach of all Berlin sights. Ostbahnhof a few minutes walk and from there you can easily go anywhere by public transport. Pleasantly received by very friendly and helpful staff. Apart from a nice coffee bar, the hotel does not have its own restaurant. The hotel does have a bar where you can also order various dishes. This one is also very popular. There is also a gym, however, we did not visit it. The rooms are spacious enough to spend, as in our case, a week. There is enough space in the drawers to store clothes for two people. The beds are good (160cm wide) and the shower is very nice. There is also well equipped kitchenette with a two burner (induction) stove. Very comfortable to make breakfast in the morning before going out. There is a decent supermarket in Ostbahnhof to stock up on provisions. We had a room at street side and stayed there until after New Year's Eve. The rooms are well insulated. Very little was heard from other hotel guests or traffic. There is a small accessible balcony. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay here and we will definitely come back again, next time we are in Berlin. Definitely highly recommended!

The location was amazing, the atmosphere was there, everyone just greeted you and the reception was just amazing totally up for conversation no hesitation nor pushing. It was worth the money + the Mercedes-Benz-Arena was right beside it (basically) so the concert was amazing and easy to get to! :)

warm and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere, the scent/ fragrance in the lobby I want to bottle that! We stayed coming up to the Christmas period and they gave us a little goody bag full of chocolate treats 🧡 Fabulous work area and coffee bar! Really nice vibe. The thought and attention to detail that has gone into this place is clear and well thought out, between the decor, design and even small things like the automatic skirt light in the bathroom within the rooms so you are not stumbling over in the dark during the middle of the night...genius!

Great co-working hotel! I loved that the room has a kitchenette - we used it every day. The tea / coffee that was provided was a super nice touch. Wifi worked great, both in the room and downstairs in the co-working / restaurant area. Found the restaurant to have a solid food & drinks selection - It must be very nice in the summer when you can sit outside on the riverside terrace. The staff was incredibly helpful every time I asked for something / needed something. Also loved the gym (which has two Peloton bikes!)

I stayed for a whole week at Locke and we did use the kitchenette quite a bit... we had to buy dish washing detergent and a sponge, which was fine (easy to find and cheap), however, I wish that a dish towel would've been provided, since every time we washed dishes, we had nowhere to put them but also no way to dry them.

I would say that this place exceeded our expectations. The reception staff is very friendly, always at your service. The building inside is very clean with a beautiful design. The apartment immediately struck us with its design too. Everything was very well thought out, clean and cozy. The space is more than enough for two people. Beautiful large windows with a view and very practical curtains, a well-equipped kitchen, such details as tea, coffee or iron and a powerful hair dryer, shampoo and balm are just perfect! We cooked dinners and did not feel lacking in anything! The location was also a plus for us. There are many cozy cafes around with breakfasts and dinners, two large grocery stores right at the station, which is only 7 minutes away, and at the same time the area is quiet and calm! The center is easily accessible by train and a couple of times we absolutely calmly walked there. We are extremely happy and satisfied with our stay here and will definitely come back if possible! We surtanly recommend it!

Loved the river view from the balcony! We were also able to check in early despite arriving at ~11am because another room was ready on a different floor. Really friendly and helpful staff and the room was very comfortable — I fell asleep instantly every time I touched the bed at the end of each day (but that might also be due to the 20k+ daily steps we had been doing as tourists)! The location is great for exploring and the walk to the station is nice as it is along the river/Berlin wall. Also loved the Le Creuset coffee press :)

We didn’t know how to turn the bathroom fan on (if that was possible) so it was not super well-ventilated, but it was our fault for not asking.

Walking into the lobby of Locke at East Side Gallery felt like coming home. Cosy vibes in the lobby and cafe, with apartment spaces that are beautiful and perfectly stocked with kitchenware and cutlery for your stay. I especially loved how modern and personal it felt - the facilities, appliances, check-in process, guest communications. The staff are also 10/10 - ever helpful and provided great tips. I especially loved the digital handbook of sights and experiences provided to all guests. Location-wise, it's right by the Berlin wall and within a comfortable walking distance of the train station, bus stop and supermarket. Super safe area for a solo traveller. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

My view wasn't fantastic but it's not a deal breaker. They also don't do daily housekeeping so if that's something you mind, take note.

Everything! Excellent amenities. Welcoming staff. Good size room. Very comfortable bed. Good temperature in room with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The best shower ever! High quality brands of kettle, stove etc. Sound proofed room. We were left to our own devices throughout our stay but had a WhatsApp number we could use if we had any questions etc. We could also ask for more coffee/tea. Onsite laundry and gym but we didn't go down there so can't comment. Right next to the largest remaining section of the Berlin Wall and just along from the Wall Museum, which was great to visit. Train station just a 3 min walk away. Our apartment happened to overlook the wall, which would have been nice in warmer weather.

Two very small things - the lighting in the room wasn't amazing, so it was difficult to read anywhere except in bed. And, clutching at straws, the coffee press (a Le Crusset) didn't work so well as lots of grounds ended up in the brew.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Uber Arena, I attended The Laver Cup. Walking distance to arena was 5 minutes, either along a beautiful river path, or along the East Side Gallery. This part of Berlin was revitalized since I was there last in 2015. The hotel was super clean, modern, spacious, comfortable bed, and the bonus was the balcony looking out onto the Spree. The staff was exceptional - very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Anima - in house restaurant had a very cool vibe and great food and drinks. Mina, the stand alone restaurant at the far end of the hotel was exceptional - beautiful decor and fabulous food. The location of the hotel, very close to the train station, provided opportunities for easy travel to other parts of the city. East Side Mall, next to Uber Arena, was excellent for supplies and shopping. I was super pleased with my stay!

The only concern was figuring out the induction stove top and combination oven. A printed guide would be helpful. Also, time to upgrade the coffee maker from French Press - it's messy to deal with.

We loved the thoughtful design of the rooms at Locke, it felt a relaxing space to rest at the end of days exploring Berlin. The room was very quiet and peaceful, the little kitchen space came in handy and we generally enjoyed the vibe of the place.

We loved being next to the East Side Gallery and the close proximity (on foot) to Kreuzberg. Berlin is such a spread out city so getting to other tourist attractions at times felt like a trek but that’s Berlin! This is a perfect hotel for the cool neighbouring areas that have some of the best places for an evening drink/bite. Plus the bus 300 stopped very close by and was useful for some key sites.
